¹In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, on that same day the hand of Jehovah was upon me, and he brought me thither.

¹Waktu itu tanggal sepuluh bulan satu, dalam tahun kedua puluh lima masa pembuangan kami, empat belas tahun sesudah Yerusalem dikalahkan, aku merasakan kuasa TUHAN, lalu aku dibawa-Nya pergi.

²In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain; and upon it was as the building of a city, on the south.

²Dalam sebuah penglihatan, Allah membawa aku ke tanah Israel dan menempatkan aku di gunung yang tinggi. Di hadapanku kulihat sekelompok bangunan yang menyerupai sebuah kota.

³And he brought me thither, and behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a flax-cord in his hand, and a measuring-reed; and he stood in the gate.

³Aku dibawanya ke situ dan kulihat seorang laki-laki yang berkilauan seperti perunggu berdiri di dekat pintu gerbang. Ia memegang tali pengukur dari linen serta kayu pengukur.

⁴And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thy heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for in order that it might be shewn unto thee art thou brought hither. Declare to the house of Israel all that thou seest.

⁴Laki-laki itu berkata kepadaku, "Hai manusia fana, dengarlah baik-baik dan perhatikanlah segala sesuatu yang kuperlihatkan kepadamu, sebab untuk itulah engkau dibawa ke mari. Beritahukanlah kepada bangsa Israel semua yang akan kaulihat."

⁵And behold, there was a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring-reed of six cubits, [each] of one cubit and a hand breadth. And he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

⁵Lalu aku melihat Rumah TUHAN yang dikelilingi tembok. Laki-laki itu mulai mengukur tembok itu dengan kayu pengukurnya yang panjangnya tiga meter. Ternyata tembok itu tingginya tiga meter dan tebalnya juga tiga meter.

⁶And he came to the gate which looked toward the east, and went up its steps; and he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed broad; and the other threshold one reed broad.

⁶Kemudian ia pergi ke gerbang yang menghadap ke timur. Ia mendaki tangganya dan sesampainya di atas, ia mengukur ambang pintu itu, lebarnya tiga meter.

⁷And [each] chamber was one reed long and one reed broad; and between the chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate, beside the porch of the gate within, was one reed.

⁷Di belakang gerbang itu ada sebuah lorong dan pada masing-masing sisinya terdapat tiga kamar jaga. Semua kamar itu sama besarnya; bentuknya segi empat, dan panjang setiap sisinya adalah tiga meter. Tembok-tembok pemisah setiap kamar sama tebalnya, yaitu dua setengah meter. Lorong itu memanjang tiga meter lagi dan menuju ke ruang besar yang menghadap ke Rumah TUHAN. Laki-laki itu mengukur ruang besar itu dan ternyata lebarnya empat meter; letaknya di ujung pintu gerbang, sebelah dalam, yaitu yang paling dekat dengan Rumah TUHAN. Tembok-tembok di bagian yang menghadap Rumah TUHAN, tebalnya satu meter.

⁸And he measured the porch of the gate within, one reed.

⁹And he measured the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward.

¹⁰And the chambers of the gate which was toward the east were three on this side and three on that side: they three were of one measure; and the posts on this side and on that side had one measure.

¹¹And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ten cubits; [and] the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.

¹¹Kemudian laki-laki itu mengukur lebar lorong di pintu gerbang; enam setengah meter, dan juga lebar pintu gerbang itu lima meter.

¹²And there was a border before the chambers of one cubit, and a border of one cubit on the other side; and the chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.

¹²Di depan kamar-kamar jaga yang berukuran tiga kali tiga meter itu, ada tembok rendah yang tingginya setengah meter, dan tebalnya setengah meter juga.

¹³And he measured the gate from the roof of [one] chamber to the roof [of the other], a breadth of five and twenty cubits, entry opposite entry.

¹³Lalu laki-laki itu mengukur jarak dari tembok belakang sebuah kamar jaga sampai ke tembok belakang kamar jaga di seberangnya, yaitu 12,5 meter.

¹⁴And he made posts, sixty cubits, and by the post was the court of the gate round about.

¹⁴Ia juga mengukur ruang besar itu: panjangnya sepuluh meter. Pintu ruang itu menuju ke pelataran luar Rumah TUHAN.

¹⁵And from the front of the gate of the entrance unto the front of the porch of the inner gate were fifty cubits.

¹⁵Jarak dari pintu gerbang sebelah luar sampai ke tembok ruang besar di bagian yang menghadap ke Rumah TUHAN adalah 25 meter.

¹⁶And there were closed windows to the chambers, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the projections; and the windows round about were inward; and upon [each] post were palm-trees.

¹⁶Pada tembok belakang dan tembok pemisah kamar-kamar itu ada jendela-jendela kecil. Tembok-tembok bagian dalam yang menghadap ke lorong, dihias dengan ukir-ukiran pohon palem.

¹⁷And he brought me into the outer court, and behold, there were cells, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty cells were upon the pavement.

¹⁷Kemudian laki-laki itu membawa aku melalui pintu gerbang ke pelataran luar Rumah TUHAN. Pada sisi tembok luar di sekeliling Rumah TUHAN itu dibangun 30 kamar. Di depan kamar-kamar itu ada lantai batu

¹⁸And the pavement was by the side of the gates, answering to the length of the gates, [namely] the lower pavement.

¹⁸yang mengelilingi seluruh pelataran itu. Pelataran luar itu lebih rendah daripada pelataran dalam.

¹⁹And he measured the breadth from the front of the lower gate unto the front of the inner court outside, a hundred cubits eastward and northward.

¹⁹Di situ ada pintu gerbang lain yang letaknya lebih tinggi dan yang menuju ke pelataran dalam. Laki-laki itu mengukur jarak antara kedua pintu gerbang itu: 50 meter.

²⁰And the gate of the outer court, that looked toward the north, he measured its length and its breadth.

²⁰Kemudian laki-laki itu mengukur gerbang utara yang menuju ke pelataran dalam.

²¹And its chambers were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its projections were according to the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and breadth five and twenty cubits.

²¹Di gerbang itu, ketiga kamar jaga pada masing-masing sisi lorongnya, tembok-tembok pemisahnya serta ruang besarnya, semuanya sama ukurannya dengan yang ada di gerbang sebelah timur. Seluruh lorong gerbang itu panjangnya 25 meter dan lebarnya 12,5 meter.

²²And its windows, and its projections, and its palm-trees were according to the measure of the gate that looked toward the east; and they went up to it by seven steps; and the projections thereof were before them.

²²Juga ruang besarnya, jendela-jendelanya, dan ukir-ukiran pohon palemnya sama dengan yang ada di gerbang timur. Tujuh anak tangga menuju ke gerbang itu, dan di ujungnya ada ruang besar yang menghadap ke pelataran luar Rumah TUHAN.

²³And the gate of the inner court was opposite to the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate a hundred cubits.

²³Berhadapan dengan gerbang utara, ada gerbang lain yang menuju ke pelataran dalam, sama seperti yang ada di sebelah gerbang timur. Orang itu mengukur jarak antara kedua gerbang itu: 50 meter.

²⁴And he brought me toward the south: and behold, there was a gate toward the south; and he measured its posts and its projections according to these measures.

²⁴Selanjutnya, laki-laki itu membawa aku ke gerbang selatan dan mengukurnya. Ternyata gerbang itu sama dengan gerbang-gerbang yang lain.

²⁵And there were windows to it and to its projections round about, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

²⁵Jendela-jendela di kamar-kamarnya sama dengan yang ada di gerbang-gerbang yang lain. Panjang lorong gerbang itu 25 meter, dan lebarnya 12,5 meter.

²⁶And there were seven steps to go up to it; and its projections were before them; and it had palm-trees, one on this side and one on that side, upon its posts.

²⁶Tujuh anak tangga menuju ke gerbang itu dan ruang besarnya juga ada di ujung, menghadap ke pelataran luar Rumah TUHAN. Tembok-tembok bagian dalam yang menghadap ke lorong, dihias dengan ukir-ukiran pohon palem.

²⁷And there was a gate to the inner court toward the south; and he measured from gate to gate toward the south, a hundred cubits.

²⁷Di situ ada juga gerbang yang menuju ke pelataran dalam. Laki-laki itu mengukur jarak antara kedua gerbang itu: 50 meter.

²⁸And he brought me into the inner court by the south gate; and he measured the south gate according to these measures:

²⁸Selanjutnya laki-laki itu membawa aku melalui gerbang selatan masuk ke pelataran dalam. Ia mengukur gerbang selatan itu, dan ukurannya sama dengan gerbang-gerbang di sebelah luar.

²⁹and its chambers, and its posts, and its projections, according to these measures; and there were windows to it and to its projections round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

²⁹Kamar-kamar jaganya, ruang besarnya, dan tembok-tembok dalamnya sama dengan yang ada di gerbang-gerbang lain. Kamar-kamar di gerbang ini pun mempunyai jendela-jendela. Lorong gerbang itu panjangnya 25 meter dan lebar 12,5 meter.

³⁰And there were projections round about, twenty-five cubits long, and five cubits broad.

³⁰(40:29)

³¹And its projections were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.

³¹Tetapi ruang besarnya menghadap ke pelataran luar. Tembok-tembok bagian dalam yang menghadap ke lorong, juga dihias dengan ukir-ukiran pohon palem. Delapan anak tangga itu menuju ke gerbang itu.

³²And he brought me into the inner court toward the east; and he measured the gate according to these measures:

³²Setelah itu laki-laki itu membawa aku melalui gerbang timur masuk ke halaman dalam. Ia mengukur gerbang itu dan ukurannya sama dengan gerbang-gerbang yang lain.

³³and its chambers, and its posts, and its projections, according to these measures; and there were windows to it and to its projections round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

³³Kamar-kamar jaganya, tembok-tembok dalamnya dan ruang besarnya ukurannya seperti yang ada di gerbang-gerbang yang lain. Di kamar-kamar itu dan di ruang besarnya ada jendela-jendela. Panjang lorong gerbang itu 25 meter dan lebarnya 12,5 meter.

³⁴And its projections were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts on this side and on that side: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.

³⁴Ruang besarnya menghadap ke pelataran luar. Tembok-tembok bagian dalam yang menghadap ke lorong, dihias dengan ukir-ukiran pohon palem. Delapan anak tangga menuju ke gerbang itu.

³⁵And he brought me to the north gate, and he measured [it] according to these measures:

³⁵Akhirnya laki-laki itu membawa aku ke gerbang utara. Ia mengukur gerbang itu dan ukurannya sama dengan gerbang-gerbang yang lain.

³⁶its chambers, its posts, and its projections; and there were windows to it round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

³⁶Juga kamar-kamar jaganya, tembok-tembok dalamnya dan ruang besarnya sama dengan yang ada di gerbang-gerbang yang lain. Di kamar-kamarnya dan di ruang besarnya ada jendela-jendela. Panjang lorong gerbang itu 25 meter dan lebarnya 12,5 meter.

³⁷And its posts were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts, on this side and on that side: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.

³⁷Ruang depannya juga menghadap ke pelataran luar. Tembok-tembok bagian dalam yang menghadap ke lorong, dihias dengan ukir-ukiran pohon palem. Delapan anak tangga menuju ke gerbang itu.

³⁸And there was a cell and its entry by the posts of the gates; there they rinsed the burnt-offering.

³⁸Di pelataran luar ada sebuah kamar tambahan di gerbang dalam sebelah utara. Dari kamar tambahan itu ada sebuah pintu yang menuju ke ruang besar. Di situlah dibasuh binatang-binatang untuk kurban bakaran.

³⁹And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt-offering and the sin-offering and the trespass-offering.

³⁹Di ruang besar itu, ada empat buah meja, dua di setiap sisinya. Di atas meja-meja itulah dipotong binatang untuk kurban bakaran, atau kurban penghapus dosa atau kurban ganti rugi.

⁴⁰And at the side without, at the ascent to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables:

⁴⁰Di luar ruang besar itu ada lagi empat meja, dua di setiap sisi gerbang utara itu.

⁴¹four tables on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate, -- eight tables, whereon they slew [the sacrifice],

⁴¹Jadi, semuanya ada delapan buah meja tempat memotong kurban: empat di dalam, dan empat di luar pelataran.

⁴²-- and at the ascent, four tables of hewn stone, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high; whereon also they laid the instruments with which they slew the burnt-offering and the sacrifice.

⁴²Keempat buah meja di kamar tambahan yang dipakai untuk mempersiapkan kurban bakaran dipahat dari batu. Meja itu tingginya setengah meter, sedang bagian atasnya persegi empat, panjang dan lebarnya masing-masing tiga perempat meter. Di atas meja-meja itu disimpan perkakas untuk memotong binatang kurban.

⁴³And the double hooks of a hand breadth were fastened round about within; and upon the tables [they put] the flesh of the offering.

⁴³Tepi meja-meja itu mempunyai pinggiran selebar 75 milimeter. Semua daging yang akan dikurbankan diletakkan di atas meja-meja itu.

⁴⁴And outside the inner gate were two cells in the inner court, one at the side of the north gate, and its front towards the south; the other was at the side of the south gate, the front towards the north.

⁴⁴Kemudian laki-laki itu membawa aku ke pelataran dalam. Di situ ada dua bangsal, yang satu di samping gerbang utara dan menghadap ke selatan, sedang yang satu lagi di samping gerbang selatan dan menghadap ke utara.

⁴⁵And he said unto me, This cell whose front is towards the south is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.

⁴⁵Laki-laki itu mengatakan kepadaku bahwa bangsal yang menghadap ke selatan itu disediakan untuk para imam yang bertugas di Rumah TUHAN,

⁴⁶And the cell whose front is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, those who, from among the sons of Levi, approach unto Jehovah to minister unto him.

⁴⁶sedang bangsal yang menghadap ke utara disediakan untuk para imam yang bertugas pada mezbah. Semua imam itu harus dari keturunan Zadok. Sebab dari suku Lewi hanya keturunan Zadok yang boleh menghadap TUHAN untuk melayani Dia dalam ibadat.

⁴⁷And he measured the court, the length a hundred cubits, and the breadth a hundred cubits, four square: and the altar was before the house.

⁴⁷Laki-laki itu mengukur pelataran dalam. Bentuknya persegi empat: panjang dan lebarnya masing-masing 50 meter. Rumah TUHAN itu ada di sebelah barat, dan di depannya ada sebuah mezbah.

⁴⁸And he brought me to the porch of the house; and he measured the post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side; and the breadth of the gate, three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

⁴⁸Kemudian ia membawa aku ke ruang depan Rumah TUHAN dengan mendaki beberapa anak tangga. Ia mengukur ruang masuk; luasnya tujuh kali dua setengah meter, dengan dinding-dinding pada kedua pinggirnya setebal satu setengah meter. Di kiri kanannya ada sebuah pilar. Ruang depan itu sendiri panjangnya sepuluh meter dan lebarnya enam meter.

⁴⁹The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, even by the steps whereby they went up to it; and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and one on that side.
