¹{A Song of degrees.} Blessed is every one that feareth Jehovah, that walketh in his ways.

¹Nyanyian ziarah. Berbahagialah orang yang takwa dan hidup menurut perintah Allah.

²For thou shalt eat the labour of thy hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

²Engkau akan makan dari hasil kerjamu, hidup makmur dan sejahtera.

³Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine in the inner part of thy house; thy children like olive-plants round about thy table.

³Istrimu seperti pohon anggur yang subur di dalam rumahmu. Anak-anakmu seperti tunas pohon zaitun di sekeliling mejamu.

⁴Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth Jehovah.

⁴Begitulah TUHAN memberkati orang yang takwa.

⁵Jehovah will bless thee out of Zion; and mayest thou see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life,

⁵Semoga dari Sion TUHAN memberkati engkau. Semoga engkau melihat kemakmuran Yerusalem sepanjang masa hidupmu!

⁶And see thy children's children. Peace be upon Israel!

⁶Semoga engkau panjang umur, dan melihat anak cucumu! Semoga umat Tuhan sejahtera!
