¹Exult, ye righteous, in Jehovah: praise is comely for the upright.

¹Hai orang-orang saleh, bersoraklah gembira karena apa yang telah dilakukan TUHAN; patutlah orang jujur memuji-muji.

²Give thanks unto Jehovah with the harp; sing psalms unto him with the ten-stringed lute.

²Bersyukurlah kepada TUHAN dengan kecapi, bernyanyilah bagi-Nya dengan iringan musik.

³Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud sound.

³Nyanyikanlah lagu baru bagi TUHAN, mainkan kecapi baik-baik dan bersoraklah dengan riang!

⁴For the word of Jehovah is right, and all his work is in faithfulness.

⁴Semua perkataan TUHAN dapat dipercaya; Ia setia dalam segala perbuatan-Nya.

⁵He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the loving-kindness of Jehovah.

⁵Ia mencintai kejujuran dan keadilan; seluruh bumi penuh dengan kasih-Nya.

⁶By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

⁶TUHAN memberi perintah, maka langit tercipta; matahari, bulan dan bintang dijadikan oleh sabda-Nya.

⁷He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap; he layeth up the deeps in storehouses.

⁷Semua air laut dikumpulkan-Nya di suatu tempat, samudra raya ditahan-Nya di dalam bendungan.

⁸Let all the earth fear Jehovah; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

⁸Biarlah seluruh bumi takut kepada TUHAN dan penduduk dunia menghormati Dia.

⁹For *he* spoke, and it was [done]; *he* commanded, and it stood fast.

⁹Sebab Ia bersabda, lalu semuanya dijadikan; Ia memberi perintah, maka semuanya ada.

¹⁰Jehovah frustrateth the counsel of the nations; he maketh the thoughts of the peoples of none effect.

¹⁰TUHAN menggagalkan rencana bangsa-bangsa, Ia meniadakan niat mereka.

¹¹The counsel of Jehovah standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.

¹¹Tetapi rencana TUHAN tetap bertahan, rancangan-Nya teguh sepanjang zaman.

¹²Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah, the people that he hath chosen for his inheritance!

¹²Berbahagialah bangsa yang mengakui TUHAN sebagai Allahnya, berbahagialah umat yang dipilih-Nya menjadi milik-Nya!

¹³Jehovah looketh from the heavens; he beholdeth all the sons of men:

¹³Dari surga TUHAN memandang ke bawah, dan Ia melihat seluruh umat manusia.

¹⁴From the place of his habitation he looketh forth upon all the inhabitants of the earth;

¹⁴Dari takhta-Nya TUHAN mengamati semua yang mendiami bumi.

¹⁵He who fashioneth the hearts of them all, who considereth all their works.

¹⁵Dialah yang membentuk hati mereka, dan tahu segala perbuatan mereka.

¹⁶The king is not saved by the multitude of [his] forces; a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

¹⁶Raja tidak menang karena besarnya tentara, prajurit tidak selamat karena kekuatannya.

¹⁷The horse is a vain thing for safety; neither doth he deliver by his great power.

¹⁷Kuda tak dapat diandalkan untuk menang, kekuatannya yang besar tak dapat menyelamatkan.

¹⁸Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his loving-kindness,

¹⁸TUHAN menjaga orang-orang yang takwa yang mengharapkan kasih-Nya.

¹⁹To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

¹⁹Ia menyelamatkan mereka dari maut, dan menghidupi mereka di masa kelaparan.

²⁰Our soul waiteth for Jehovah: he is our help and our shield.

²⁰Maka kita berharap kepada TUHAN, Dialah penolong dan pembela kita.

²¹For in him shall our heart rejoice, because we have confided in his holy name.

²¹Kita bersukaria karena Dia dan percaya kepada nama-Nya yang suci.

²²Let thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, be upon us, according as we have hoped in thee.

²²Semoga kami tetap Kaukasihi, ya TUHAN, sebab kami berharap kepada-Mu.
