1Mazmur kaum Korah. Untuk pemimpin kor. Dengan lagu Alamot. (46-2) Allah adalah perlindungan dan kekuatan kita; Ia selalu siap dan mampu menolong dalam kesesakan.
2Therefore will we not fear though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the heart of the seas;
2(46-3) Maka kita tidak takut, biarpun bumi bergoncang, dan gunung-gunung tenggelam ke dasar lautan;
3Though the waters thereof roar [and] foam, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
3(46-4) biar laut mengamuk dan bergelora, dan bukit-bukit gemetar oleh pukulannya.
4There is a river the streams whereof make glad the city of God, the sanctuary of the habitations of the Most High.
4(46-5) Ada aliran sungai yang menggembirakan kota Allah, tempat kediaman Allah Yang Mahatinggi.
5God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her at the dawn of the morning.
5(46-6) Allah berdiam di sana, maka kota itu takkan musnah; Ia akan menolongnya waktu fajar merekah.
6The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
6(46-7) Allah mengguntur, maka bumi hancur luluh; bangsa-bangsa gempar, kerajaan-kerajaan runtuh.
7Jehovah of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high fortress. Selah.
7(46-8) TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa menyertai kita, Allah Yakub melindungi kita.
8Come, behold the works of Jehovah, what desolations he hath made in the earth:
8(46-9) Mari, lihatlah apa yang dikerjakan TUHAN; betapa menakjubkan karya-Nya di bumi!
9He hath made wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariots in the fire.
9(46-10) Ia menghentikan peperangan di seluruh dunia, busur dan lembing dihancurkan-Nya, perisai-perisai bundar dibakar-Nya.
10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
10(46-11) Kata-Nya, "Berhentilah berperang; ketahuilah, Aku ini Allah, Aku agung di antara bangsa-bangsa, agung di seluruh bumi."
11Jehovah of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high fortress. Selah.
11(46-12) TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa menyertai kita, Allah Yakub melindungi kita.
