¹{A Prayer of David.} Incline thine ear, Jehovah, answer me; for I am afflicted and needy.

¹Doa Daud. Dengarlah doaku, ya TUHAN, dan jawablah aku, sebab aku miskin dan lemah.

²Keep my soul, for I am godly; O thou my God, save thy servant who confideth in thee.

²Jagalah hidupku, sebab Engkau mengasihi aku, selamatkanlah hamba-Mu yang percaya kepada-Mu.

³Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto thee do I call all the day.

³Engkaulah Allahku, kasihanilah aku ya TUHAN, sebab sepanjang hari aku berdoa kepada-Mu.

⁴Rejoice the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, Lord, do I lift up my soul.

⁴TUHAN, gembirakanlah hati hamba-Mu, sebab kepada-Mu kuarahkan hatiku.

⁵For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, and art of great loving-kindness unto all that call upon thee.

⁵Engkau baik, ya TUHAN, dan suka mengampuni, orang yang berdoa kepada-Mu tetap Kaukasihi dengan kasih yang limpah.

⁶Give ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplications.

⁶Perhatikanlah doaku, ya TUHAN, dengarlah seruanku mohon pertolongan.

⁷In the day of my distress I will call upon thee, for thou wilt answer me.

⁷Di waktu kesesakan aku berdoa kepada-Mu, sebab Engkau menjawab aku.

⁸Among the gods there is none like unto thee, Lord, and there is nothing like unto thy works.

⁸Ya TUHAN, tak ada ilah seperti Engkau, tak ada yang melakukan apa yang Kaulakukan.

⁹All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify thy name.

⁹Semua bangsa yang Kaujadikan akan datang, ya TUHAN, untuk menyembah Engkau dan memuji keagungan-Mu.

¹⁰For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God, thou alone.

¹⁰Sebab Engkau perkasa dan melakukan keajaiban-keajaiban, hanya Engkaulah Allah.

¹¹Teach me thy way, Jehovah; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

¹¹Ajarkanlah kehendak-Mu kepadaku, ya TUHAN, supaya aku mengikutinya dengan setia; jadikanlah aku takwa dengan sebulat hati.

¹²I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

¹²Aku bersyukur kepada-Mu dengan sepenuh hatiku, ya TUHAN Allahku; aku mau memuji kebesaran-Mu selama-lamanya.

¹³For great is thy loving-kindness toward me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.

¹³Sebab Engkau tetap mengasihi aku dengan kasih yang besar; Engkau telah melepaskan nyawaku dari liang kubur.

¹⁴O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assembly of the violent seek after my soul, and they have not set thee before them.

¹⁴Ya Allah, orang sombong bangkit menyerang aku, segerombolan orang kejam mau membunuh aku; mereka tidak mempedulikan Engkau.

¹⁵But thou, Lord, art a ùGod merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in goodness and truth.

¹⁵Tetapi Engkau, ya TUHAN, Allah pengasih dan penyayang, sabar, penuh kasih dan setia.

¹⁶Turn toward me, and be gracious unto me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

¹⁶Perhatikanlah dan kasihanilah aku, kuatkanlah dan selamatkanlah aku, sebab seperti ibuku, akupun berbakti kepada-Mu.

¹⁷Shew me a token for good, that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed; for thou, Jehovah, hast helped me and comforted me.

¹⁷Berilah aku tanda kebaikan-Mu, ya TUHAN, supaya orang yang membenci aku menjadi malu, bila mereka melihat Engkau menolong dan menghibur aku.
