¹{A Psalm, a Song, for the Sabbath day.} It is good to give thanks unto Jehovah, and to sing psalms unto thy name, O Most High;

¹Nyanyian untuk hari Sabat. (92-2) Sungguh baiklah bersyukur kepada-Mu, ya TUHAN, dan memuji Engkau, Allah Yang Mahatinggi;

²To declare thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness in the nights,

²(92-3) mewartakan kasih-Mu di waktu pagi, dan kesetiaan-Mu di waktu malam,

³Upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the lute; upon the Higgaion with the harp.

³(92-4) sambil memetik gitar sepuluh tali, diiringi gambus dan kecapi.

⁴For thou, Jehovah, hast made me glad through thy work; I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

⁴(92-5) Sebab perbuatan-Mu menggirangkan hatiku, aku menyanyi gembira karena karya-Mu.

⁵Jehovah, how great are thy works! Thy thoughts are very deep:

⁵(92-6) Betapa besar perbuatan-perbuatan-Mu, ya TUHAN, betapa dalam pikiran-pikiran-Mu!

⁶A brutish man knoweth not, neither doth a fool understand it.

⁶(92-7) Orang bodoh tak dapat mengerti, orang dungu tak bisa memahaminya.

⁷When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they may be destroyed for ever.

⁷(92-8) Boleh jadi orang durhaka tumbuh subur seperti rumput, dan orang jahat bertambah kaya dan makmur; namun mereka akan dibinasakan sama sekali,

⁸And thou, Jehovah, art on high for evermore.

⁸(92-9) sebab Engkau, TUHAN, berkuasa selama-lamanya.

⁹For lo, thine enemies, O Jehovah, for lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

⁹(92-10) Kami tahu musuh-Mu akan dimusnahkan, ya TUHAN, semua orang jahat akan diceraiberaikan.

¹⁰But my horn shalt thou exalt like a buffalo's: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹⁰(92-11) Engkau membuat aku sekuat banteng liar, dan memberkati aku dengan kebahagiaan.

¹¹And mine eye shall see [its desire] on mine enemies; mine ears shall hear [it] of the evil-doers that rise up against me.

¹¹(92-12) Aku melihat kekalahan musuh-musuhku, orang-orang yang telah bangkit melawan aku, rencana-rencana jahat mereka sudah kudengar.

¹²The righteous shall shoot forth like a palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar on Lebanon.

¹²(92-13) Orang jujur bertunas seperti pohon kurma, dan tumbuh subur seperti pohon cemara di Libanon.

¹³Those that are planted in the house of Jehovah shall flourish in the courts of our God:

¹³(92-14) Mereka seperti pohon yang ditanam di Rumah TUHAN, dan berkembang di Rumah Allah kita,

¹⁴They are still vigorous in old age, they are full of sap and green;

¹⁴(92-15) pohon yang masih berbuah di masa tua, tetap hijau dan segar.

¹⁵To shew that Jehovah is upright: [he is] my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

¹⁵(92-16) Itulah buktinya bahwa TUHAN adil; dia pembela-Ku, tak ada kecurangan pada-Nya.
