¹And he made a brazen altar: its length was twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits, and its height ten cubits.

¹ソロモンはまた青銅の祭壇を造った。その長さ二十キュビト、幅二十キュビト、高さ十キュビトである。

²And he made the sea, molten, ten cubits from brim to brim, round all about; and its height was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits encompassed it round about.

²彼はまた海を鋳て造った。縁から縁まで十キュビトであって、周囲は円形をなし、高さ五キュビトで、その周囲は綱をもって測ると三十キュビトあった。

³And under it was the similitude of oxen, encompassing it round about, ten in a cubit enclosing the sea round about, two rows of oxen, cast when it was cast.

³海の下には三十キュビトの周囲をめぐるひさごの形があって、海の周囲を囲んでいた。そのひさごは二並びで、海を鋳る時に鋳たものである。

⁴It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.

⁴その海は十二の牛の上に置かれ、その三つは北に向かい、三つは西に向かい、三つは南に向かい、三つは東に向かっていた。海はその上に置かれ、牛のうしろはみな内に向かっていた。

⁵And its thickness was a hand-breadth, and its brim like the work of the brim of a cup, with lily-blossoms; in capacity it held three thousand baths.

⁵海の厚さは手の幅で、その縁は杯の縁のように、ゆりの花に似せて造られた。海には水を三千バテ入れることができた。

⁶And he made ten lavers, and put five on the right and five on the left, to wash in them: they rinsed in them what they prepared for the burnt-offering; and the sea was for the priests to wash in.

⁶彼はまた物を洗うために洗盤十個を造って、五個を南側に、五個を北側に置いた。その中で燔祭に用いるものを洗った。しかし海は祭司がその中で身を洗うためであった。

⁷And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to the ordinance respecting them, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand and five on the left.

⁷彼はまた金の燭台十個をその定めに従って造り、拝殿の中の南側に五個、北側に五個を置き、

⁸And he made ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right hand and five on the left. And he made a hundred golden bowls.

⁸また机十個を造り、神殿の中の南側に五個、北側に五個を置き、また金の鉢百を造った。

⁹And he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors thereof with bronze.

⁹彼はまた祭司の庭と大庭および庭の戸を造り、その戸を青銅でおおった。

¹⁰And he set the sea on the right side eastward, over against the south.

¹⁰彼は海を宮の東南のすみにすえた。

¹¹And Huram made the pots and the shovels and the bowls. So Huram ended doing the work that he made for king Solomon in the house of God:

¹¹ヒラムはまたつぼと十能と鉢とを造った。こうしてヒラムはソロモン王のため、神の宮の工事を終えた。

¹²two pillars, and the globes and the capitals on the top of the pillars, two; and the two networks, to cover the two globes of the capitals which were on the top of the pillars;

¹²すなわち二本の柱と玉と、柱の頂にある二つの柱頭と、柱の頂にある柱頭の二つの玉をおおう二つの網細工と、

¹³and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two globes of the capitals which were upon the pillars.

¹³その二つの網細工のためのざくろ四百、このざくろはおのおの網細工に二並びにつけて、柱の頂にある柱頭の二つの玉を巻いていた。

¹⁴And he made the bases, and he made the lavers on the bases;

¹⁴彼はまた台と台の上の洗盤と、

¹⁵one sea, and the twelve oxen under it.

¹⁵一つの海とその下の十二の牛を造った。

¹⁶And the pots, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their instruments did Huram Abiv make king Solomon for the house of Jehovah, of bright brass.

¹⁶つぼ、十能、肉さしなどすべてこれらの器物を、達人ヒラムはソロモン王のため、主の宮のために、光のある青銅で造った。

¹⁷In the plain of the Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay-ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.

¹⁷王はヨルダンの低地で、スコテとゼレダの間の粘土の地でこれを鋳た。

¹⁸And Solomon made all these vessels in great number; for the weight of the brass was not ascertained.

¹⁸このようにソロモンはこれらのすべての器物を非常に多く造ったので、その青銅の重量は、量ることができなかった。

¹⁹And Solomon made all the vessels that were [in] the house of God: the golden altar; and the tables whereon was the shewbread;

¹⁹こうしてソロモンは神の宮のすべての器物を造った。すなわち金の祭壇と、供えのパンを載せる机、

²⁰and the candlesticks with their lamps to burn according to the ordinance before the oracle, of pure gold;

²⁰また定めのように本殿の前で火をともす純金の燭台と、そのともしび皿を造った。

²¹and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold (it was perfect gold);

²¹その花、ともしび皿、心かきは精金であった。また心切りばさみ、鉢、香の杯、心取り皿は純金であった。また宮の戸、すなわち至聖所の内部の戸および拝殿の戸のひじつぼは金であった。

²²and the knives, and the bowls, and the cups, and the censers, of pure gold; and the entrance of the house, the inner folding-doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house, of the temple, of gold.

²²また心切りばさみ、鉢、香の杯、心取り皿は純金であった。また宮の戸、すなわち至聖所の内部の戸および拝殿の戸のひじつぼは金であった。
