¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

¹主はモーセとアロンに言われた、

²The children of Israel shall encamp every one by his standard, with the ensign of their father's house; round about the tent of meeting, afar off, opposite to it shall they encamp.

²「イスラエルの人々は、おのおのその部隊の旗のもとに、その父祖の家の旗印にしたがって宿営しなければならない。また会見の幕屋のまわりに、それに向かって宿営しなければならない。

³And [for] those encamping eastward toward the sun-rising [there shall be] the standard of the camp of Judah according to their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Judah shall be Nahshon the son of Amminadab;

³すなわち、日の出る方、東に宿営するものは、ユダの宿営の旗につく者であって、その部隊にしたがって宿営し、アミナダブの子ナションが、ユダの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

⁴and his host, even those that were numbered of them, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.

⁴その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は七万四千六百人である。

⁵And those that encamp next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar; and the prince of the sons of Issachar shall be Nethaneel the son of Zuar;

⁵そのかたわらに宿営する者はイッサカルの部族で、ツアルの子ネタニエルが、イッサカルの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

⁶and his host, even those that were numbered thereof, fifty-four thousand four hundred.

⁶その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は五万四千四百人である。

⁷[With them shall be] the tribe of Zebulun; and the prince of the sons of Zebulun shall be Eliab the son of Helon;

⁷次はゼブルンの部族で、ヘロンの子エリアブが、ゼブルンの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

⁸and his host, even those that were numbered thereof, fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

⁸その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は五万七千四百人である。

⁹All that were numbered of the camp of Judah were a hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred, according to their hosts. They shall set forth first.

⁹ユダの宿営の、その部隊にしたがって数えられた者は、合わせて十八万六千四百人である。これらの者は、まっ先に進まなければならない。

¹⁰The standard of the camp of Reuben shall be southward according to their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur;

¹⁰南の方では、ルベンの宿営の旗につく者が、その部隊にしたがっており、シデウルの子エリヅルが、ルベンの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

¹¹and his host, even those that were numbered thereof, forty-six thousand five hundred.

¹¹その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は四万六千五百人である。

¹²And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Simeon; and the prince of the sons of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;

¹²そのかたわらに宿営する者はシメオンの部族で、ツリシャダイの子シルミエルが、シメオンの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

¹³and his host, even those that were numbered of them, fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

¹³その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は五万九千三百人である。

¹⁴And [with them shall be] the tribe of Gad; and the prince of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel;

¹⁴次はガドの部族で、デウエルの子エリアサフが、ガドの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

¹⁵and his host, even those that were numbered of them, forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

¹⁵その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は四万五千六百五十人である。

¹⁶All that were numbered of the camp of Reuben were a hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty, according to their hosts. And they shall set forth second.

¹⁶ルベンの宿営の、その部隊にしたがって数えられた者は、合わせて十五万一千四百五十人である。これらの者は二番目に進まなければならない。

¹⁷And the tent of meeting shall set forth, the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camps; as they encamp, so shall they set forth, every man in his place, according to their standards.

¹⁷その次に会見の幕屋を、レビびとの宿営とともに、もろもろの宿営の中央にして進まなければならない。彼らは宿営するのと同じように、おのおのその位置で、その旗にしたがって進まなければならない。

¹⁸The standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their hosts shall be westward; and the prince of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud;

¹⁸西の方では、エフライムの宿営の旗につく者が、その部隊にしたがっており、アミホデの子エリシャマが、エフライムの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

¹⁹and his host, even those that were numbered of them, forty thousand five hundred.

¹⁹その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は四万五百人である。

²⁰And by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh; and the prince of the sons of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;

²⁰そのかたわらにマナセの部族がおって、パダヅルの子ガマリエルが、マナセの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

²¹and his host, even those that were numbered of them, thirty-two thousand two hundred.

²¹その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は三万二千二百人である。

²²And [with them shall be] the tribe of Benjamin; and the prince of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni;

²²次にベニヤミンの部族がおって、ギデオニの子アビダンが、ベニヤミンの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

²³and his host, even those that were numbered of them, thirty-five thousand four hundred.

²³その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は三万五千四百人である。

²⁴All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were a hundred and eight thousand one hundred, according to their hosts. And they shall set forth third.

²⁴エフライムの宿営の、その部隊にしたがって数えられた者は、合わせて十万八千百人である。これらの者は三番目に進まなければならない。

²⁵The standard of the camp of Dan shall be northward according to their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;

²⁵北の方では、ダンの宿営の旗につく者が、その部隊にしたがっており、アミシャダイの子アヒエゼルが、ダンの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

²⁶and his host, even those that were numbered of them, sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

²⁶その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は六万二千七百人である。

²⁷And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher; and the prince of the sons of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran;

²⁷そのかたわらに宿営する者は、アセルの部族であって、オクランの子パギエルが、アセルの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

²⁸and his host, even those that were numbered of them, forty-one thousand five hundred.

²⁸その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は四万一千五百人である。

²⁹And [with them shall be] the tribe of Naphtali; and the prince of the sons of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan;

²⁹次にナフタリの部族がおって、エナンの子アヒラが、ナフタリの子たちのつかさとなるであろう。

³⁰and his host, even those that were numbered of them, fifty-three thousand four hundred.

³⁰その部隊、すなわち、数えられた者は五万三千四百人である。

³¹All that were numbered of the camp of Dan were a hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred. They shall set forth last according to their standards.

³¹ダンの宿営の、数えられた者は合わせて十五万七千六百人である。これらの者はその旗にしたがって、最後に進まなければならない」。

³²These are those that were numbered of the children of Israel, according to their fathers' houses: all those that were numbered of the camps, according to their hosts, were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

³²これがイスラエルの人々の、その父祖の家にしたがって数えられた人々である。もろもろの宿営の、その部隊にしたがって数えられた者は合わせて六十万三千五百五十人であった。

³³But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

³³しかし、レビびとはイスラエルの人々のうちに数えられなかった。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。イスラエルの人々は、すべて主がモーセに命じられたとおりに行い、その旗にしたがって宿営し、おのおのその氏族に従い、その父祖の家に従って進んだ。

³⁴And the children of Israel did according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses: so they encamped according to their standards, and so they journeyed, every one according to their families, according to their fathers' houses.

³⁴イスラエルの人々は、すべて主がモーセに命じられたとおりに行い、その旗にしたがって宿営し、おのおのその氏族に従い、その父祖の家に従って進んだ。
