¹{A Song of degrees.} They that confide in Jehovah are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved; it abideth for ever.

¹主に信頼する者は、動かされることなくて、とこしえにあるシオンの山のようである。

²Jerusalem! -- mountains are round about her, and Jehovah is round about his people, from henceforth and for evermore.

²山々がエルサレムを囲んでいるように、主は今からとこしえにその民を囲まれる。

³For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

³これは悪しき者のつえが正しい者の所領にとどまることなく、正しい者がその手を不義に伸べることのないためである。

⁴Do good, O Jehovah, unto the good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

⁴主よ、善良な人と、心の正しい人とに、さいわいを施してください。しかし転じて自分の曲った道に入る者を主は、悪を行う者と共に去らせられる。イスラエルの上に平安があるように。

⁵But as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!
