¹Hallelujah! Praise Jehovah from the heavens; praise him in the heights.

¹主をほめたたえよ。もろもろの天から主をほめたたえよ。もろもろの高き所で主をほめたたえよ。

²Praise ye him, all his angels; praise ye him, all his hosts.

²その天使よ、みな主をほめたたえよ。その万軍よ、みな主をほめたたえよ。

³Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all ye stars of light.

³日よ、月よ、主をほめたたえよ。輝く星よ、みな主をほめたたえよ。

⁴Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.

⁴いと高き天よ、天の上にある水よ、主をほめたたえよ。

⁵Let them praise the name of Jehovah, for he it is that commanded, and they were created:

⁵これらのものに主のみ名をほめたたえさせよ、これらは主が命じられると造られたからである。

⁶And he established them for ever and ever; he made [for them] a statute which shall not pass.

⁶主はこれらをとこしえに堅く定め、越えることのできないその境を定められた。

⁷Praise Jehovah from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;

⁷海の獣よ、すべての淵よ、地から主をほめたたえよ。

⁸Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind fulfilling his word;

⁸火よ、あられよ、雪よ、霜よ、み言葉を行うあらしよ、

⁹Mountains and all hills, fruit-trees and all cedars;

⁹もろもろの山、すべての丘、実を結ぶ木、すべての香柏よ、

¹⁰Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged fowl;

¹⁰野の獣、すべての家畜、這うもの、翼ある鳥よ、

¹¹Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all judges of the earth;

¹¹地の王たち、すべての民、君たち、地のすべてのつかさよ、

¹²Both young men and maidens, old men with youths, --

¹²若い男子、若い女子、老いた人と幼い者よ、

¹³Let them praise the name of Jehovah: for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above the earth and the heavens.

¹³彼らをして主のみ名をほめたたえさせよ。そのみ名は高く、たぐいなく、その栄光は地と天の上にあるからである。主はその民のために一つの角をあげられた。これはすべての聖徒のほめたたえるもの、主に近いイスラエルの人々のほめたたえるものである。主をほめたたえよ。

¹⁴And he hath lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints, [even] of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Hallelujah!
