¹{[A Psalm] of David.} Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.

¹主よ、わたしをさばいてください。わたしは誠実に歩み、迷うことなく主に信頼しています。

²Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:

²主よ、わたしをためし、わたしを試み、わたしの心と思いとを練りきよめてください。

³For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.

³あなたのいつくしみはわたしの目の前にあり、わたしはあなたのまことによって歩みました。

⁴I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;

⁴わたしは偽る人々と共にすわらず、偽善者と交わらず、

⁵I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.

⁵悪を行う者のつどいを憎み、悪しき者と共にすわることをしません。

⁶I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,

⁶主よ、わたしは手を洗って、罪のないことを示し、あなたの祭壇をめぐって、

⁷That I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works.

⁷感謝の歌を声高くうたい、あなたのくすしきみわざをことごとくのべ伝えます。

⁸Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

⁸主よ、わたしはあなたの住まわれる家と、あなたの栄光のとどまる所とを愛します。

⁹Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;

⁹どうか、わたしを罪びとと共に、わたしのいのちを、血を流す人々と共に、取り去らないでください。

¹⁰In whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.

¹⁰彼らの手には悪い企てがあり、彼らの右の手は、まいないで満ちています。

¹¹But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me.

¹¹しかしわたしは誠実に歩みます。わたしをあがない、わたしをあわれんでください。わたしの足は平らかな所に立っています。わたしは会衆のなかで主をたたえましょう。

¹²My foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah.
