²Keep my soul, for I am godly; O thou my God, save thy servant who confideth in thee.

³Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto thee do I call all the day.

³主よ、わたしをあわれんでください。わたしはひねもすあなたに呼ばわります。

⁴Rejoice the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, Lord, do I lift up my soul.

⁴あなたのしもべの魂を喜ばせてください。主よ、わが魂はあなたを仰ぎ望みます。

⁵For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, and art of great loving-kindness unto all that call upon thee.

⁵主よ、あなたは恵みふかく、寛容であって、あなたに呼ばわるすべての者にいつくしみを豊かに施されます。

⁶Give ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplications.

⁶主よ、わたしの祈に耳を傾け、わたしの願いの声をお聞きください。

⁷In the day of my distress I will call upon thee, for thou wilt answer me.

⁷わたしの悩みの日にわたしはあなたに呼ばわります。あなたはわたしに答えられるからです。

⁸Among the gods there is none like unto thee, Lord, and there is nothing like unto thy works.

⁸主よ、もろもろの神のうちにあなたに等しい者はなく、また、あなたのみわざに等しいものはありません。

⁹All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify thy name.

⁹主よ、あなたが造られたすべての国民はあなたの前に来て、伏し拝み、み名をあがめるでしょう。

¹⁰For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God, thou alone.

¹⁰あなたは大いなる神で、くすしきみわざをなされます。ただあなたのみ、神でいらせられます。

¹¹Teach me thy way, Jehovah; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

¹¹主よ、あなたの道をわたしに教えてください。わたしはあなたの真理に歩みます。心をひとつにしてみ名を恐れさせてください。

¹²I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

¹³For great is thy loving-kindness toward me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.

¹⁴O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assembly of the violent seek after my soul, and they have not set thee before them.

¹⁴神よ、高ぶる者はわたしに逆らって起り、荒ぶる者の群れはわたしのいのちを求め、彼らは自分の前にあなたを置くことをしません。

¹⁵But thou, Lord, art a ùGod merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in goodness and truth.

¹⁵しかし主よ、あなたはあわれみと恵みに富み、怒りをおそくし、いつくしみと、まこととに豊かな神でいらせられます。

¹⁶Turn toward me, and be gracious unto me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

¹⁶わたしをかえりみ、わたしをあわれみ、あなたのしもべにみ力を与え、あなたのはしための子をお救いください。わたしに、あなたの恵みのしるしをあらわしてください。そうすれば、わたしを憎む者どもはわたしを見て恥じるでしょう。主よ、あなたはわたしを助け、わたしを慰められたからです。

¹⁷Shew me a token for good, that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed; for thou, Jehovah, hast helped me and comforted me.

¹⁷わたしに、あなたの恵みのしるしをあらわしてください。そうすれば、わたしを憎む者どもはわたしを見て恥じるでしょう。主よ、あなたはわたしを助け、わたしを慰められたからです。
