¹Sing ye unto Jehovah a new song: sing unto Jehovah, all the earth.

¹新しい歌を主にむかってうたえ。全地よ、主にむかってうたえ。

²Sing unto Jehovah, bless his name; publish his salvation from day to day.

²主にむかって歌い、そのみ名をほめよ。日ごとにその救を宣べ伝えよ。

³Declare his glory among the nations, his wondrous works among all the peoples.

³もろもろの国の中にその栄光をあらわし、もろもろの民の中にそのくすしきみわざをあらわせ。

⁴For Jehovah is great and exceedingly to be praised; he is terrible above all gods.

⁴主は大いなる神であって、いともほめたたうべきもの、もろもろの神にまさって恐るべき者である。

⁵For all the gods of the peoples are idols; but Jehovah made the heavens.

⁵もろもろの民のすべての神はむなしい。しかし主はもろもろの天を造られた。

⁶Majesty and splendour are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

⁶誉と、威厳とはそのみ前にあり、力と、うるわしさとはその聖所にある。

⁷Give unto Jehovah, ye families of peoples, give unto Jehovah glory and strength;

⁷もろもろの民のやからよ、主に帰せよ、栄光と力とを主に帰せよ。

⁸Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; bring an oblation and come into his courts;

⁸そのみ名にふさわしい栄光を主に帰せよ。供え物を携えてその大庭にきたれ。

⁹Worship Jehovah in holy splendour; tremble before him, all the earth.

⁹聖なる装いをして主を拝め、全地よ、そのみ前におののけ。

¹⁰Say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth! yea, the world is established, it shall not be moved; he will execute judgment upon the peoples with equity.

¹⁰もろもろの国民の中に言え、「主は王となられた。世界は堅く立って、動かされることはない。主は公平をもってもろもろの民をさばかれる」と。

¹¹Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;

¹¹天は喜び、地は楽しみ、海とその中に満ちるものとは鳴りどよめき、

¹²Let the field exult and all that is therein. Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy,

¹²田畑とその中のすべての物は大いに喜べ。そのとき、林のもろもろの木も主のみ前に喜び歌うであろう。主は来られる、地をさばくために来られる。主は義をもって世界をさばき、まことをもってもろもろの民をさばかれる。

¹³Before Jehovah, for he cometh; for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.
