¹And these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel smote, and of whose land they took possession across the Jordan, toward the sun-rising, from the river Arnon to mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:

¹이스라엘 자손이 요단 저편 해 돋는 편 곧 아르논 골짜기에서 헤르몬산까지의 동방 온 아라바를 점령하고 그 땅에서 쳐 죽인 왕들은 이러하니라

²Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, [and] ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the ravine, and over half Gilead, as far as the river Jabbok, [which is] the border of the children of Ammon;

²헤스본에 거하던 아모리 사람의 왕 시혼이라 그 다스리던 땅은 아르논 골짜기 가에 있는 아로엘에서부터 골짜기 가운데 성읍과 길르앗 절반 곧 암몬 자손의 지경 얍복강까지며

³and the plain as far as the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and as far as the sea of the plain, the salt sea, on the east, toward Beth-jeshimoth; and on the south, under the slopes of Pisgah;

³또 동방 아라바 긴네롯 바다까지며 또 동방 아라바의 바다 곧 염해의 벧여시못으로 통한 길까지와 남편으로 비스가 산록까지며

⁴and the territory of Og the king of Bashan, of the residue of the giants, who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

⁴또 르바의 남은 족속으로서 아스다롯과 에브레이에 거하던 바산 왕 옥이라

⁵and ruled over mount Hermon, and over Salcah, and over all Bashan, as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and [over] half Gilead [as far as] the border of Sihon the king of Heshbon.

⁵그 치리하던 땅은 헤르몬산과 살르가와 온 바산과 및 그술 사람과 마아가 사람의 지경까지의 길르앗 절반이니 헤스본 왕 시혼의 지경에 접한 것이라

⁶Moses the servant of Jehovah and the children of Israel smote them, and Moses the servant of Jehovah gave it for a possession to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh.

⁶여호와의 종 모세와 이스라엘 자손이 그들을 치고 여호와의 종 모세가 그 땅을 르우벤 사람과, 갓 사람과, 므낫세 반 지파에게 기업으로 주었더라

⁷And these are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side the Jordan on the west, from Baal-Gad in the valley of Lebanon as far as the smooth mountain, which rises toward Seir. And Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions,

⁷여호수아와 이스라엘 자손이 요단 이편 곧 서편 레바논 골짜기의 바알갓에서부터 세일로 올라가는 곳 할락산까지에서 쳐서 멸한 왕들은 이러하니 그 땅을 여호수아가 이스라엘의 구별을 따라 그 지파에게 기업으로 주었으니

⁸in the mountain, and in the lowland, and in the plain, and on the hill-slopes, and in the wilderness, and in the south: the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites:

⁸곧 산지와, 평지와, 아라바와, 경사지와, 광야와, 남방 곧 헷 사람과, 아모리 사람과, 가나안 사람과, 브리스 사람과, 히위 사람과, 여부스사람의 땅이라)

⁹The king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;

⁹하나는 여리고 왕이요, 하나는 벧엘 곁의 아이 왕이요

¹⁰the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

¹⁰하나는 예루살렘 왕이요, 하나는 헤브론 왕이요, 하나는 야르뭇 왕이요

¹¹the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

¹¹하나는 라기스 왕이요

¹²the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

¹²하나는 에글론 왕이요, 하나는 게셀 왕이요

¹³the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

¹³하나는 드빌 왕이요, 하나는 게델 왕이요

¹⁴the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;

¹⁴하나는 호르마 왕이요, 하나는 아랏 왕이요

¹⁵the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;

¹⁵하나는 립나 왕이요, 하나는 아둘람 왕이요

¹⁶the king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one;

¹⁶하나는 막게다 왕이요, 하나는 벧엘 왕이요

¹⁷the king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;

¹⁷하나는 답부아 왕이요, 하나는 헤벨 왕이요

¹⁸the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one;

¹⁸하나는 아벡 왕이요, 하나는 랏사론 왕이요

¹⁹the king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;

¹⁹하나는 마돈 왕이요, 하나는 하솔 왕이요

²⁰the king of Shimron-meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;

²⁰하나는 시므론 므론 왕이요, 하나는 악삽 왕이요

²¹the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;

²¹하나는 다아낙 왕이요, 하나는 므깃도 왕이요

²²the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam on Carmel, one;

²²하나는 게데스 왕이요, 하나는 갈멜의 욕느암 왕이요

²³the king of Dor in the upland of Dor, one; the king of Goim, at Gilgal, one;

²³하나는 돌의 높은 곳의 돌 왕이요, 하나는 길갈의 고임 왕이요

²⁴the king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty and one.

²⁴하나는 디르사 왕이라 도합 삼십 일 왕이었더라
