¹For concerning the ministration which [is] for the saints, it is superfluous my writing to you.

¹Fa ny amin'ny fiantrana ho an'ny olona masina, dia tsy misy tokony hanoratako aminareo;[Gr. fanompoana]

²For I know your readiness, which I boast of as respects you to Macedonians, that Achaia is prepared since a year ago, and the zeal [reported] of you has stimulated the mass [of the brethren].

²fa fantatro ny fahazotoanareo, izay ataoko rehareha ny aminareo amin'ny Makedoniana hoe : Efa vonona hatry ny taon-itsy Akaia, ary ny zotom-ponareo dia namporisika ny maro.

³But I have sent the brethren, in order that our boasting about you may not be made void in this respect, in order that, as I have said, ye may be prepared;

³Kanefa naniraka ireo rahalahy ireo ihany aho, fandrao dia ho foana ny reharehanay ny aminareo amin'izany zavatra izany, mba ho vonona ianareo araka izay nolazaiko,

⁴lest haply, if Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, *we*, that we say not *ye*, may be put to shame in this confidence.

⁴fandrao, raha tàhiny hisy hiaraka amiko ny avy eto Makedonia ka hahita anareo tsy mbola vonona, dia ho menatra izahay (mba tsy hanaovanay hoe, ianareo) noho izany fahatokiana izany.

⁵I thought it necessary therefore to beg the brethren that they would come to you, and complete beforehand your fore-announced blessing, that this may be ready thus as blessing, and not as got out of you.

⁵Koa nataoko fa tsy maintsy mangataka ny rahalahy handeha hialoha ho any aminareo aho ka hahavita rahateo ny fiantranareo izay nokasainareo teo aloha, mba hovitaina toy ny fiantrana izany, fa tsy toy ny fahihirana.

⁶But this [is true], he that sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that sows in [the spirit of] blessing shall reap also in blessing:

⁶Fa izao no lazaiko: Izay mamafy kely, dia kely no hojinjany; fa izay mamafy be, dia be kosa no hojinjany.

⁷each according as he is purposed in his heart; not grievingly, or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

⁷Aoka ny olona rehetra samy hanao araka izay inian'ny fony avy, tsy amin'ny alahelo, na amin'ny faneriterena; fa ny mpanome amin'ny fifaliana no tian'Andriamanitra (Oha. 22. 8, LXX.).

⁸But God is able to make every gracious gift abound towards you, that, having in every way always all-sufficiency, ye may abound to every good work:

⁸Ary Andriamanitra mahay mampitombo ny fahasoavana rehetra aminareo, mba hanananareo ny onony rehetra mandrakariva amin'ny zavatra rehetra, ka hitombo amin'ny asa tsara rehetra;

⁹according as it is written, He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor, his righteousness remains for ever.

⁹araka ny voasoratra hoe: Namafy izy, eny, nanome ho an'ny malahelo; Ny fahamarinany maharitra mandrakizay (Sal. 112. 9).

¹⁰Now he that supplies seed to the sower and bread for eating shall supply and make abundant your sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:

¹⁰Ary Izay manome voa ho an'ny mpamafy sy mofo hohanina dia hanome sy hahabe ny voa afafinareo ary hampitombo ny vokatry ny fahamarinanareo,

¹¹enriched in every way unto all free-hearted liberality, which works through us thanksgiving to God.

¹¹dia hanan-karena amin'ny zavatra rehetra ianareo ka handroso amin'ny hitsim-po,izay mahatonga ny fisaoranay an'Andriamanitra.[Na: fahafoizana]

¹²Because the ministration of this service is not only filling up the measure of what is lacking to the saints, but also abounding by many thanksgivings to God;

¹²Fa ny fanaovana izany fanompoam-pivavahana izany dia tsy mahafaka ny alahelon'ny olona masina ihany, fa mahabe ny fisaoran'ny maro an'Andriamanitra koa,

¹³they glorifying God through the proof of this ministration, by reason of your subjection, by profession, to the glad tidings of the Christ, and your free-hearted liberality in communicating towards them and towards all;

¹³satria ny fizahan-toetra anareo amin'izany fanompoana izany no ankalazany an'Andriamanitra noho ny fitananareo tsara ny fanekenareo ny filazantsaran'i Kristy sy noho ny fahazotoanareo amin'ny fiantrana ho azy sy ho an'ny olona rehetra;

¹⁴and in their supplication for you, full of ardent desire for you, on account of the exceeding grace of God [which is] upon you.

¹⁴ary amin'ny fangatahany ho anareo dia manina anareo izy noho ny haben'ny fahasoavan'Andriamanitra aminareo.Isaorana anie Andriamanitra noho ny fanomezany tsy azo tononina.

¹⁵Thanks [be] to God for his unspeakable free gift.
