1And Elihu proceeded and said,
1Ary mbola nandroso niteny ihany Eliho ka nanao hoe:
2Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet words for +God.
2Mahareta kely amiko, dia hambarako aminao, fa mbola misy teny holazaina hanamarina an'Andriamanitra.
3I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Creator.
3Halaiko avy lavitra ny fahalalako, ka hanamarina ny Mpanao ahy aho.
4For truly my words shall be no falsehood: one perfect in knowledge is with thee.
4Fa tsy lainga tsy akory ny teniko; Lehilahy tanteraka amin'ny fahalalana no eto aminao.
5Lo, ùGod is mighty, but despiseth not [any]; mighty in strength of understanding:
5Indro, lehibe Andriamanitra, kanefa tsy mba mamingavinga, lehibe amin'ny herin'ny fahalalana Izy.
6He saveth not the wicked alive; but he doeth justice to the afflicted.
6Tsy mitsimbina ny ain'ny ratsy fanahy Izy, fa manome rariny ho an'ny ory.
7He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous, but with kings on the throne doth he even set them for ever; and they are exalted.
7Tsy mampiala ny masony amin'ny marina Izy; Eo amin'ny mpanjaka ambonin'ny seza fiandrianany no ampitoerany azy ho mandrakizay, ka dia tafasandratra.
8And if, bound in fetters, they be held in cords of affliction,
8Ary raha voafatotra amin'ny gadra izy sy voafehy amin'ny tadin'ny fahoriana.
9Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions, because they have increased.
9Dia ambarany azy ny asany sy ny fahotany, fa efa nanandra-tena izy ireny.
10And he openeth their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.

11If they hearken and serve [him], they shall accomplish their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

12But if they hearken not, they shall pass away by the sword, and expire without knowledge.

13But the godless in heart heap up anger; they cry not when he bindeth them:

14Their soul dieth in youth, and their life is among the unclean.

15But he delivereth the afflicted in his affliction, and openeth their ear in [their] oppression.
15Fa ny fahorian'ny ory kosa no entin'Andriamanitra mamonjy azy, Ary ny manjo azy no entiny manokatra ny sofiny.
16Even so would he have allured thee out of the jaws of distress into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and the supply of thy table [would be] full of fatness.
16Ary na dia ianao aza dia ampialainy amin'ny fahaterena ho amin'ny malalaka izay tsy misy mahatery; Ary ny matavy indrindra no aroso ho eo ambonin'ny latabatrao.
17But thou art full of the judgments of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold [on thee].
17Nefa raha fatra-pikikitra amin'ny adin'ny ratsy fanahy ianao, dia hihazona anao ny ady sy ny fanamelohana;[Na: Dia hifanaikaiky ny ady sy ny fanamelohana;]
18Because there is wrath, [beware] lest it take thee away through chastisement: then a great ransom could not avail thee.
18Aoka tsy hamporisika anao hiteny ratsy ny fahatezerana, ary aoka tsy hampivily hevitra anao ny halehiben'ny avotra.
19Will he esteem thy riches? Not gold, nor all the resources of strength!
19Moa hahatonga anao ho ao amin'izay tsy misy fahoriana va ny fitarainanao na izay rehetra tratry ny fahatanjahana?
20Desire not the night, when peoples are cut off from their place.
20Aza irinao ny hihavian'ny alina, izay ampialana ny olona amin'ny fitoerany.
21Take heed, turn not to iniquity; for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
21Tandremo, aza mivily ho amin'ny ratsy; Fa saingy ozoim-pahoriana ianao, dia mifidy izany.
22Lo, ùGod is exalted in his power: who teacheth as he?
22Indro, Andriamanitra miasa amin'ny heriny mampiseho ny fisandratany; Iza no mba mpampianatra tahaka Azy?
23Who hath appointed him his way? or who hath said, Thou hast wrought unrighteousness?
23Iza no efa nandidy Azy ny amin'izay lalan-kalehany? Ary iza no efa nilaza taminy hoe: Efa nanao ratsy Hianao?
24Remember that thou magnify his work, which men celebrate.
24Tsarovy ny hankalaza ny asany, Izay efa nataon'ny olona an-kira.
25All men look at it; man beholdeth [it] afar off.
25Fa faly mahita izany ny olona rehetra; Ary jeren'ny zanak'olombelona eny lavitra eny izany.
26Lo, ùGod is great, and we comprehend [him] not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
26Indro, lehibe Andriamanitra, ka tsy takatry ny saintsika Izy; Ary tsy hita isa ny taonany.
27For he draweth up the drops of water: they distil in rain from the vapour which he formeth,
27Fa mampisavoana ny rano Izy, dia milatsaka ho ranonorana aman-javona izany,
28Which the skies pour down [and] drop upon man abundantly.
28Izay aidin'ny rahona ka alatsany amin'ny olona maro be.
29But can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, [or] the crashing of his pavilion?
29Ary koa, iza moa no mahalala ny amin'ny fivelatry ny rahona sy ny fikotrokotroka ao an-dainy?
30Lo, he spreadeth his light around him, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
30Indro, mamelatra ny fahazavany eo amboniny Izy ary manao ny fanambanin'ny ranomasina ho firakofany.
31For with them he judgeth the peoples; he giveth food in abundance.
31Fa ireny zavatra ireny no itsarany ny firenena sady anomezany hanina betsaka.
32[His] hands he covereth with lightning, and commandeth it where it is to strike.

33His thundering declareth concerning him; the cattle even, concerning its coming.
