¹And Jehovah called to Moses and spoke to him out of the tent of meeting, saying,

¹[Ny fanatitra odorana] Ary Jehovah niantso an'i Mosesy ka niteny taminy tao amin'ny trano-lay fihaonana hoe:

²Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, When any man of you presenteth an offering to Jehovah, ye shall present your offering of the cattle, of the herd and of the flock.

²Mitenena amin'ny Zanak'Isiraely hoe: Raha misy aminareo manatitra biby fiompy ho fanatitra ho an'i Jehovah, dia omby na ondry na osy no haterinareo ho fanatitrareo.

³If his offering be a burnt-offering of the herd, he shall present it a male without blemish: at the entrance of the tent of meeting shall he present it, for his acceptance before Jehovah.

³Raha omby no ateriny ho fanatitra dorana, dia lahy tsy misy kilema no hateriny; eo anoloan'ny varavaran'ny trano-lay fihaonana no hanaterany azy, mba hankasitrahana eo anatrehan'i Jehovah izy.

⁴And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt-offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

⁴Ary hametraka ny tànany eo amin'ny lohan'ny fanatitra dorana izy, dia hahazoany fankasitrahana izany, hanaovana fanavotana ho azy.

⁵And he shall slaughter the bullock before Jehovah; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood round about on the altar that is at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

⁵Dia hamono ny zanak'omby eo anatrehan'i Jehovah izy; ary ireo mpisorona, zanak'i Arona, dia hanatitra ny rà ka hanopy azy manodidina amin'ny lafin'ny alitara, izay eo anoloan'ny varavaran'ny trano-lay fihaonana;

⁶And he shall flay the burnt-offering, and cut it up into its pieces.

⁶ary hohodirany ny fanatitra dorana, dia horasainy tsara.

⁷And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire;

⁷Ary ireo zanak'i Arona mpisorona dia hanisy afo eo ambonin'ny alitara ka handahatra kitay eo amin'ny afo.

⁸and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head, and the fat, in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar;

⁸Ary ireo mpisorona, zanak'i Arona, dia handahatra ny voarasa mbamin'ny lohany sy ny saborany eo ambonin'ny kitay eo amin'ny afo izay eo ambonin'ny alitara;

⁹but its inwards and its legs shall he wash in water; and the priest shall burn all on the altar, a burnt-offering, an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour.

⁹fa ny taovany, sy ny tongony kosa hosasany amin'ny rano; dia hodoran'ny mpisorona ho fofona izy rehetra eo ambonin'ny alitara; fanatitra dorana izany, dia fanatitra atao amin'ny afo ho hanitra ankasitrahana ho an'i Jehovah.

¹⁰And if his offering be of the flock, of the sheep or of the goats, for a burnt-offering, he shall present it a male without blemish.

¹⁰Ary raha ondry na osy no ateriny ho fanatitra dorana, dia lahy tsy misy kilema koa no hateriny.

¹¹And he shall slaughter it on the side of the altar northward before Jehovah; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood on the altar round about.

¹¹Dia hamono azy eo avaratry ny alitara eo anatrehan'i Jehovah izy; ary ireo mpisorona, zanak'i Arona, dia hanopy ny rà manodidina amin'ny lafin'ny alitara.

¹²And he shall cut it into its pieces, and its head, and its fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar;

¹²Dia horasainy tsara izy mbamin'ny lohany sy ny saborany; ary halahatry ny mpisorona eo ambonin'ny kitay izy eo amin'ny afo izay eo ambonin'ny alitara;

¹³but the inwards and the legs shall he wash with water; and the priest shall present [it] all, and burn [it] on the altar: it is a burnt-offering, an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour.

¹⁴And if his offering to Jehovah be a burnt-offering of fowls, then he shall present his offering of turtle-doves, or of young pigeons.

¹⁴Ary raha vorona no ateriny ho an'i Jehovah ho fanatitra dorana, dia domohina na zana-boromailala no hateriny ho fanatiny.

¹⁵And the priest shall bring it near to the altar and pinch off its head and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be pressed out at the side of the altar.

¹⁵Ary haterin'ny mpisorona ho eo amin'ny alitara izany, ka hotapahiny amin'ny hoho ny lohany, dia hodorany ho fofona eo ambonin'ny alitara, ary hofiazany eo amin'ny rindrin'ny alitara ny ràny;

¹⁶And he shall remove its crop with its feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east, into the place of the ashes;

¹⁶ary hesoriny ny takorobabony sy ny ao anatiny, ka hariany eo atsinanan'ny alitara, dia eo amin'ny fitoeran-davenona;ary hosamahany amin'ny elany no fameraka azy, fa tsy hohenteriny; ary ny mpisorona handoro azy ho fofona eo ambonin'ny alitara, ambonin'ny kitay izay eo amin'ny afo; fanatitra dorana izany, dia fanatitra atao amin'ny afo ho hanitra ankasitrahana ho an'i Jehovah.

¹⁷and he shall split it open at its wings, [but] shall not divide [it] asunder; and the priest shall burn it on the altar on the wood that is on the fire: it is a burnt-offering, an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour.

¹⁷ary hosamahany amin'ny elany no fameraka azy, fa tsy hohenteriny; ary ny mpisorona handoro azy ho fofona eo ambonin'ny alitara, ambonin'ny kitay izay eo amin'ny afo; fanatitra dorana izany, dia fanatitra atao amin'ny afo ho hanitra ankasitrahana ho an'i Jehovah.
