¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹[Lalàna ny amin'ny hanamasinana ny fanambadiana] Ary Jehovah niteny tamin'i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:

²Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am Jehovah your God.

²Mitenena amin'ny Zanak'Isiraely hoe: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo:

³After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do; and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their customs.

³Aza manao araka ny fanaon'ny tany Egypta, izay nonenanareo; ary aza manao araka ny fanaon'ny tany Kanana, izay ampidirako anareo, ary aza manaraka ny fombany.

⁴Mine ordinances shall ye do and my statutes shall ye observe to walk therein: I am Jehovah your God.

⁴Ny fitsipiko no harahinareo, ary ny didiko no hotandremanareo, hanarahanareo azy: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

⁵And ye shall observe my statutes and my judgments, by which the man that doeth them shall live: I am Jehovah.

⁵Ary tandremo ny didiko sy ny fitsipiko; fa raha mahatandrina izany ny olona, dia ho velona amin'izany izy: Izaho no Jehovah.

⁶No one shall approach to any that is his near relation, to uncover his nakedness: I am Jehovah.

⁶Aza misy mila izay havany akaiky handry aminy ianareo: Izaho. no Jehovah.

⁷The nakedness of thy father, and the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother: thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

⁷Aza mandry amin'izay nandrian'ny rainao; fa reninao izy, ka aza mandry aminy.

⁸The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.

⁸Aza mandry amin'ny renikelinao; fa nandrian'ny rainao izy.

⁹The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, born at home, or born abroad -- their nakedness shalt thou not uncover.

⁹Aza mandry amin'ny anabavinao, zanaky ny rainao, na zanaky ny reninao, na teraka tao an-trano, na teraka tany ivelany; aza mandry aminy.

¹⁰The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter -- their nakedness shalt thou not uncover; for theirs is thy nakedness.

¹⁰Aza mandry amin'ny zanakavavin'ny zanakao-lahy, na ny zanakavavin'ny zanakao-vavy; fa avy aminao no nihavian'izy roa.

¹¹The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father: she is thy sister: thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

¹¹Aza mandry amin'ny zanakavavin'ny renikelinao, izay teraky ny rainao; fa anabavinao izy; aza mandry aminy.

¹²The nakedness of thy father's sister shalt thou not uncover: she is thy father's near relation.

¹²Aza mandry amin'ny anabavin-drainao; fa havan-drainao akaiky izy.

¹³The nakedness of thy mother's sister shalt thou not uncover; for she is thy mother's near relation.

¹³Aza mandry amin'ny rahavavin-dreninao; fa havan-dreninao akaiky izy.

¹⁴The nakedness of thy father's brother shalt thou not uncover; thou shalt not approach his wife: she is thine aunt.

¹⁴Aza mandry amin'izay nandrian'ny rahalahin-drainao; aza mila ny vadiny fa vadin'ny rahalahin-drainao izy.

¹⁵The nakedness of thy daughter-in-law shalt thou not uncover: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

¹⁵Aza mandry amin'ny vinantovavinao; fa vadin'ny zanakao-lahy izy, koa aza mandry aminy.

¹⁶The nakedness of thy brother's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy brother's nakedness.

¹⁶Aza mandry amin'ny vadin-drahalahinao; fa nandrian'ny rahalahinao izy.

¹⁷The nakedness of a woman and her daughter shalt thou not uncover; thou shalt not take her son's daughter, nor her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness: they are her near relations: it is wickedness.

¹⁷Aza mandry amin'ny vehivavy sy ny zananivavy; aza maka ny zanakavavin'ny zananilahy, na ny zanakavavin'ny zananivavy, handry aminy; havany akaiky ireo, ka fahavetavetana izany.

¹⁸And thou shalt not take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness beside her, during her life.

¹⁸Ary aza mampakatra vehivavy ho rafin'ny rahavaviny izay mbola velona.

¹⁹And thou shalt not approach a woman in the separation of her uncleanness to uncover her nakedness.

¹⁹Ary aza mila vehivavy mararin'ny fadim-bolany handry aminy.

²⁰And thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to become unclean with her.

²⁰Ary aza mandry amin'ny vadin'ny namanao, handoto ny tenanao aminy.

²¹And thou shalt not give of thy seed to let them pass through [the fire] to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.

²¹Ary aza misy ampandehaninao hamaky ny afo ho an'i Moloka ny zanakao; ary aza manamavo ny anaran'Andriamanitrao: Izaho no Jehovah.

²²And thou shalt not lie with mankind as one lieth with a woman: it is an abomination.

²²Aza mandry amin'ny lehilahy tahaka ny fandry amin'ny vehivavy; fa fahavetavetana izany.

²³And thou shalt lie with no beast to become unclean therewith; and a woman shall not stand before a beast to lie down with it: it is confusion.

²³Ary aza mandry amin'ny biby handoto ny tenanao aminy; ary aoka tsy hisy vehivavy hety handrian'ny biby; fa zavatra fady indrindra izany.

²⁴Make not yourselves unclean in any of these things; for in all these have the nations which I am casting out before you made themselves unclean.

²⁴Aza mandoto ny tenanareo amin'izany zavatra izany akory; fa izany rehetra izany no nandotoan'ny jentilisa ny tenany, izay efa horoahiko eo anoloanareo.

²⁵And the land hath become unclean; and I visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomiteth out its inhabitants.

²⁵Ary efa maloto ny tany, ka dia hamaly azy Aho noho ny helony, ary haloan'ny tany ny mponina eo.

²⁶But *ye* shall observe my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of all these abominations: the home-born, and the stranger that sojourneth among you;

²⁶Fa mitandrema ny didiko sy ny fitsipiko ianareo, ka aza misy ataonareo izany fahavetavetana izany, na ny tompon-tany, na ny vahiny eo aminareo

²⁷(for all these abominations have the men of the land done, who were before you, and the land hath been made unclean);

²⁷(fa izany fahavetavetana rehetra izany no nataon'ny tompon-tany izay talohanareo, ka dia naloto ny tany),

²⁸that the land vomit you not out, when ye make it unclean, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

²⁸mba tsy handotoanareo ny tany ka tsy handoavany anareo, tahaka ny nandoavany ny firenena izay talohanareo.

²⁹For whoever committeth any of these abominations, ... the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

²⁹Fa izay rehetra manao izany fahavetavetana izany na dia iray aza dia hofongorana tsy ho amin'ny fireneny.Koa dia tandremo izay asaiko tandremana, mba tsy hisy hataonareo akory izany fanao vetaveta izany, izay nataon'ny olona talohanareo, ka aza mandoto ny tenanareo amin'izany: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

³⁰And ye shall observe my charge, that ye commit not [any] of the abominable customs which were committed before you; and ye shall not make yourselves unclean therein: I am Jehovah your God.

³⁰Koa dia tandremo izay asaiko tandremana, mba tsy hisy hataonareo akory izany fanao vetaveta izany, izay nataon'ny olona talohanareo, ka aza mandoto ny tenanareo amin'izany: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.
