¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹[Lalàna ny amin'ny famoahana izay misy fahalotoana ho any ivelan'ny toby] Ary Jehovah niteny tamin'i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:

²Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by a dead person:

²Mandidia ny Zanak'Isiraely hamoaka ny boka rehetra sy ny marary mitsika rehetra ary ny maloto amim-paty rehetra hiala amin'ny toby;

³both male and female shall ye put out; outside the camp shall ye put them, that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

³na lehilahy na vehivavy dia samy havoakanareo any ivelan'ny toby, mba tsy handoto ny tobiny izay itoerako eo afovoany.

⁴And the children of Israel did so, and put them outside the camp: as Jehovah had said to Moses, so did the children of Israel.

⁴Dia nanao izany ny Zanak'Isiraely ka namoaka ireny ho any ivelan'ny toby; araka izay nolazain'i Jehovah tamin'i Mosesy no nataon'ny Zanak'Isiraely.

⁵And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

⁵[Ny amin'ny fanonerana, raha misy manao izay mahadiso] Ary Jehovah niteny tamin'i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:

⁶Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any of all the sins of man to work unfaithfulness against Jehovah, and that soul is guilty,

⁶Lazao amin'ny Zanak'Isiraely hoe: Raha misy lehilahy na vehivavy manao izay mety ho fahotan'ny olona ka manao izay mahadiso amin'i Jehovah ary meloka,

⁷then they shall confess their sin which they have done; and he shall recompense his trespass according to the principal thereof, and shall add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

⁷dia tsy maintsy hiaiky ny fahotana izay nataony izy ary hanonitra ny amin'ny fahadisoany ka hanampy azy ho tonga avy fahenina, ary homeny an'ilay nanaovany diso.

⁸And if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, the trespass which is recompensed to Jehovah shall be the priest's, besides the ram of the atonement, wherewith an atonement is made for him.

⁸Fa raha tàhiny tsy manana havana akaiky haterany ny fanonerana ny amin'ny fahadisoany ilay olona, ny zavatra naterina ho fanonerana dia ho an'i Jehovah ka ho an'ny mpisorona, ho fanampin'ny ondrilahy fanavotana izay hanaovany fanavotana ho azy.

⁹And every heave-offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they present unto the priest, shall be his.

⁹Ary ny fanatitra rehetra alaina amin'ny zava-masina rehetra aterin'ny Zanak'Isiraely, izay ateriny ho an'ny mpisorona, dia ho azy izany.

¹⁰And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatever any man giveth the priest shall be his.

¹⁰Ary ho azy ny zava-masina aterin'ny olona rehetra; na inona na inona omen'olona ho an'ny mpisorona, dia ho azy izany.

¹¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹¹[Ny lalàna ny amin'ny fanatitra noho ny ahiahy] Ary Jehovah niteny tamin'i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:

¹²Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go astray, and commit unfaithfulness against him,

¹²Mitenena amin'ny Zanak'Isiraely, ka lazao aminy hoe: Na iza na iza vadin'olona mivily ka manao izay mahadiso azy amin'ny lahy,

¹³and a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and she be defiled in secret, and there be no witness against her, and she have not been caught;

¹³fa nisy lehilahy nandry taminy, nefa tsy hitan'ny lahy, fa miafina, ary voaloto ravehivavy, nefa tsy misy vavolombelona hiampanga azy, ary tsy azo olan-tanana izy;

¹⁴and the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she have been defiled, -- or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she have not been defiled,

¹⁴kanefa misy fiahiahiana ao amin'ny lahy, ka miahiahy ny vadiny izy, sady efa voaloto ravehivavy; na misy fiahiahiana ao amin'ny lahy, ka miahiahy ny vadiny izy, kanjo tsy voaloto ravehivavy;

¹⁵-- then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, a tenth part of an ephah of barley-meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an oblation of jealousy, a memorial oblation, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

¹⁵dia ho entin'ny lahy ho eo amin'ny mpisorona ny vadiny, ary hitondra ny fanatiny noho ny vavy izy, dia kobam-bary hordea ampahafolon'ny efaha; tsy hanidinany diloilo izany, sady tsy hasiany ditin-kazo mani-pofona, satria fanatitra noho ny ahiahy izany, dia fanati-pahatsiarovana, hampahatsiaro heloka.

¹⁶And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before Jehovah.

¹⁶Ary hampanakaiky azy ny mpisorona ka hampitoetra azy eo anatrehan'i Jehovah;

¹⁷And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and the priest shall take of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle, and put it into the water.

¹⁷dia haka rano masina amin'ny lovia tany ny mpisorona; ary ny vovoka eo amin'izay itoeran'ny tabernakely dia hangalan'ny mpisorona ka hataony amin'ny rano;

¹⁸And the priest shall set the woman before Jehovah, and uncover the woman's head, and put the memorial oblation in her hands, which is the jealousy offering; and in the hand of the priest shall be the bitter water that bringeth the curse.

¹⁸ary ravehivavy dia hampitoeran'ny mpisorona eo anatrehan'i Jehovah, ka harakarakany ny volondohan-dravehivavy, ary hataony eo an-tànany ny fanati-pahatsiarovana, dia ny fanatitra noho ny ahiahy; ary ho eo an-tànan'ny mpisorona ny ranom-pangidiana izay mitondra ozona;

¹⁹And the priest shall adjure her, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone astray in uncleanness, in being with another instead of thy husband, be free from this bitter water that bringeth the curse.

¹⁹dia hampianiana an-dravehivavy ny mpisorona ka hanao aminy hoe: Raha tsy nisy lehilahy nandry taminao, ka tsy nivily niala tamin'ny vadinao ho amin'ny fahalotoana ianao, dia afaka amin'ity ranom-pangidiana mitondra ozona ity;

²⁰But if thou hast gone astray to another instead of thy husband, and hast been defiled, and a man other than thy husband have lain with thee,

²⁰fa raha nivily niala tamin'ny vadinao kosa ianao ka voaloto ihany, fa nisy lehilahy nandry taminao, afa-tsy ny vadinao,

²¹-- then the priest shall adjure the woman with the oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman: Jehovah make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when Jehovah doth make thy thigh to shrink, and thy belly to swell;

²¹dia hampianiana an-dravehivavy ny mpisorona mba hiozona, ka hanao aminy hoe: Jehovah anie hanao anao ho fiozonana sy ho fianianana eo amin'ny firenenao, amin'ny fampifezahan'i Jehovah ny fenao sy ny fampivontosany ny kibonao;

²²and this water that bringeth the curse shall enter into thy bowels, to make the belly to swell, and the thigh to shrink. And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

²²ary ity rano mitondra ozona ity dia hiditra ao an-kibonao ka hampivonto ny kibonao sy hampifezaka ny fenao. Ary ravehivavy hanao hoe: Amena, amena.

²³And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and shall blot them out with the bitter water,

²³Ary hosoratan'ny mpisorona amin'ny taratasy izany fiozonana izany ka hosasany eo amin'ny rano mangidy ny soratra;

²⁴and he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that bringeth the curse, that the water that bringeth the curse may enter into her for bitterness.

²⁴dia hampisotroiny an-dravehivavy ny ranom-pangidiana mitondra ozona; atỳ ny rano izay mitondra ozona dia hiditra ao anatiny ho zava-mangidy.

²⁵And the priest shall take out of the woman's hand the oblation of jealousy, and shall wave the oblation before Jehovah, and shall present it at the altar.

²⁵Dia halain'ny mpisorona eo an-tànan-dravehivavy ny fanatitra noho ny ahiahy; ary hahevahevany eo anatrehan'i Jehovah izany ka hateriny eo amin'ny alitara.

²⁶And the priest shall take a handful of the oblation as a memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar; and afterwards he shall make the woman drink the water.

²⁶Dia horaofin'ny mpisorona ny fanati-pahatsiarovana avy amin'ny fanatitra ka hodorany ho fofona eo ambonin'ny alitara; ary rehefa afaka izany, dia hampisotroiny io rano io ravehivavy.

²⁷And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she have been defiled, and have committed unfaithfulness against her husband, that the water that bringeth the curse shall enter into her, for bitterness, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall shrink; and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

²⁷Ary rehefa nampisotroina ny rano izy, ary voaloto, satria nanao izay nahadiso azy tamin'ny vadiny, dia hiditra ao anatiny ho zava-mangidy ny rano mitondra ozona, ary hivonto ny kibony, sady hifezaka ny feny; ka dia ho fiozonana eo amin'ny fireneny ravehivavy.

²⁸But if the woman have not been defiled, and be clean, then she shall be clear, and shall conceive seed.

²⁸Nefa kosa, raha tsy voaloto ravehivavy, fa madio, dia ho afaka izy ka hanan'anaka.

²⁹This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth astray to another instead of her husband and is defiled,

²⁹Izany no lalàna ny amin'ny ahiahy, raha misy vehivavy mivily miala amin'ny vadiny ka voaloto;

³⁰or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon a man, and he is jealous as regards his wife; then shall he set the woman before Jehovah, and the priest shall do to her according to all this law.

³⁰na misy lehilahy azon'ny fiahiahiana ka miahiahy ny vadiny; dia hampitoetra ny vadiny eo anatrehan'i Jehovah izy, ary ny mpisorona hanefa izany lalàna rehetra izany aminy.Dia tsy hanan-tsiny ralehilahy, fa ravehivavy kosa ho meloka.

³¹Then shall the man be free from iniquity, but that woman shall bear her iniquity.

³¹Dia tsy hanan-tsiny ralehilahy, fa ravehivavy kosa ho meloka.
