1[Fangatataham-pamonjena] Ho an'ny mpiventy hira. Nataon'i Davida. Ho fampahatsiarovana. Andriamanitra ô, faingàna hanafaka ahy; Jehovah ô, faingàna hamonjy ahy.
2Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion that seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and confounded that take pleasure in mine adversity;
2Aoka ho menatra sy hangaihay izay mitady ny aiko; aoka hiamboho sy ho afa-baraka izay faly amin'ny manjo ahy;
3Let them turn back because of their shame that say, Aha! Aha!
3Aoka hiamboho noho ny fahamenarany izay manao hoe: Hià! sakoa izay!
4Let all those that seek thee be glad and rejoice in thee, and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified!

5But I am afflicted and needy: make haste unto me, O God. Thou art my help and my deliverer: O Jehovah, make no delay.
