¹And a great sign was seen in the heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars;

¹[Ny amin'ny vehivavy mitafy ny masoandro, izay nenjehin'ny dragona] Ary nisy famantarana lehibe hita tany an-danitra, dia vehivavy mitafy ny masoandro, ary ny volana no eo ambanin'ny tongony, ary misy satro-boninahitra kintana roa ambin'ny folo amin'ny lohany,

²and being with child she cried, [being] in travail, and in pain to bring forth.

²sady bevohoka izy; ary mihetsi-jaza izy ka mitaraina, satria marary fatratra efa hiteraka.

³And another sign was seen in the heaven: and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems;

³Ary nisy famantarana hafa koa hita tany an-danitra, ka, indro, nisy dragona mena lehibe manan-doha fito sy tandroka folo, ary misy diadema fito amin'ny lohany.

⁴and his tail draws the third part of the stars of the heaven; and he cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bring forth, in order that when she brought forth he might devour her child.

⁴Ary ny rambony dia manala ny ampahatelon'ny kintana amin'ny lanitra ka manjera ireny ho amin'ny tany; ary ny dragona nijanona teo anatrehan'ilay vehivavy efa hiteraka mba handrapaka ny zanany, raha vao teraka;

⁵And she brought forth a male son, who shall shepherd all the nations with an iron rod; and her child was caught up to God and to his throne.

⁵ary niteraka zazalahy izy, izay efa hanapaka ny firenena rehetra amin'ny tehim-by; ary ny zanany novonjena faingana nakarina ho any amin'Andriamanitra, dia ho any amin'ny seza fiandrianany. [ Gr. handry]

⁶And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has there a place prepared of God, that they should nourish her there a thousand two hundred [and] sixty days.

⁶Ary ravehivavy kosa nandositra nankany an-efitra, izay nisy fitoerany namboarin'Andriamanitra, mba hovelomina any enim-polo amby roan-jato amby arivo andro izy.

⁷And there was war in the heaven: Michael and his angels went to war with the dragon. And the dragon fought, and his angels;

⁷Ary nisy ady tany an-danitra: Mikaela sy ny anjeliny niady tamin'ilay dragona; ary ilay dragona mbamin'ny anjeliny kosa dia niady,

⁸and he prevailed not, nor was their place found any more in the heaven.

⁸nefa tsy naharesy, sady tsy nisy fitoerana ho azy intsony tany an-danitra.

⁹And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent, he who is called Devil and Satan, he who deceives the whole habitable world, he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

⁹Ary nazera ilay dragona, dia ilay menarana ela, izay atao hoe devoly sy Satana, izay mamitaka izao tontolo izao; dia nazera tamin'ny tany izy, ary ny anjeliny koa niaraka nazera taminy.

¹⁰And I heard a great voice in the heaven saying, Now is come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brethren has been cast out, who accused them before our God day and night:

¹⁰Dia nahare feo mahery tany an-danitra aho nanao hoe: Ankehitriny dia tonga ny famonjena sy ny hery sy ny fanjakan'Andriamanitsika, Ary ny fahefan'ny Kristiny, Satria nazera ilay mpiampanga ny rahalahintsika, dia ilay miampanga azy eo anatrehan'Andriamanitsika andro aman'alina.

¹¹and *they* have overcome him by reason of the blood of the Lamb, and by reason of the word of their testimony, and have not loved their life even unto death.

¹¹Ary izy ireo naharesy azy noho ny amin'ny ran'ny Zanak'ondry Sy ny teny filazana Azy, Ary tsy nankamamy ny ainy intsony iry, na dia ho faty aza.

¹²Therefore be full of delight, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great rage, knowing he has a short time.

¹²Ary noho izany mifalia, ry lanitra sy ianareo izay monina ao aminy. Loza ho an'ny tany sy ny ranomasina ! Fa nidina ho aminareo ny devoly sady manana fahatezerana lehibe, Satria fantany fa kely sisa ny androny.

¹³And when the dragon saw that he had been cast out into the earth, he persecuted the woman which bore the male [child].

¹³Ary rehefa hitan'ilay dragona fa nazera tamin'ny tany izy, dia nanenjika ilay vehivavy niteraka ny zazalahy izy.

¹⁴And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the desert into her place, where she is nourished there a time, and times, and half a time, from [the] face of the serpent.

¹⁴Ary ilay vehivavy nomena ny elatra roa an'ny voromahery lehibe hanidinany ho any an-efitra, ho any amin'ny fitoerany, izay itaizana azy fetr'andro iray sy fetr'andro roa ary antsasaky ny fetr'andro, mba tsy ho hitan'ilay menarana izy.

¹⁵And the serpent cast out of his mouth behind the woman water as a river, that he might make her be [as] one carried away by a river.

¹⁵Ary ilay menarana namoaka rano tamin'ny vavany, toy ny riaka, hanaraka an-dravehivavy, mba hindaosin'ny riaka iry.

¹⁶And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

¹⁶Nefa ny tany namonjy an-dravehivavy, fa nivava ny tany ka nitelina ny riaka izay navoaky ny dragona tamin'ny vavany.Dia tezitra tamin'ilay vehivavy ny dragona ka lasa nandeha hiady tamin'ny zanany sisa, izay mitandrina ny didin'Andriamanitra sy mitana ny filazana an'i Jesosy. Ary nitsangana teo ambonin'ny fasiky ny ranomasina izy.

¹⁷And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.

¹⁷Dia tezitra tamin'ilay vehivavy ny dragona ka lasa nandeha hiady tamin'ny zanany sisa, izay mitandrina ny didin'Andriamanitra sy mitana ny filazana an'i Jesosy. Ary nitsangana teo ambonin'ny fasiky ny ranomasina izy.
