¹And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea exists no more.

²And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

²Ary nahita aho fa, indro, ny tanàna masina, dia Jerosalema vaovao, nidina avy any an-danitra tamin'Andriamanitra, voaomana tahaka ny ampakarina efa mihaingo hihaona amin'ny vadiny.

³And I heard a loud voice out of the heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he shall tabernacle with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, their God.

³Ary nahare feo mahery avy teo amin'ny seza fiandrianana aho nanao hoe: Indro, ny tabernakelin'Andriamanitra dia eo amin'ny olona, ary Izy hitoetra eo aminy, ary ireo ho olony, ary Andriamanitra no hitoetra eo aminy, dia ho Andriamaniny. [ Gr. hitoetra an-day]

⁴And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall not exist any more, nor grief, nor cry, nor distress shall exist any more, for the former things have passed away.

⁴Ary hofafany ny ranomaso rehetra amin'ny masony; ary tsy hisy fahafatesana intsony, sady tsy hisy alahelo, na fitarainana, na fanaintainana; fa efa lasa ny zavatra taloha.

⁵And he that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he says [to me], Write, for these words are true and faithful.

⁵Ary hoy Ilay mipetraka eo ambonin'ny seza fiandrianana: Indro, havaoziko ny zavatra rehetra. Ary hoy koa Izy: Soraty; fa mahatoky sy marina ireo teny ireo.

⁶And he said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that thirsts of the fountain of the water of life freely.

⁶Ary hoy koa Izy tamiko: Tanteraka ireo. Izaho no Alfa sy Omega, ny fiandohana sy ny fiafarana. Izaho hanome maimaimpoana amin'ny loharanon'ny ranon'aina ho an'izay mangetaheta.

⁷He that overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be to him God, and he shall be to me son.

⁷Izay maharesy no handova izany zavatra izany; ary ho Andriamaniny Aho, ary izy ho zanako.

⁸But to the fearful and unbelieving, [and sinners], and those who make themselves abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part [is] in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.

⁸Fa ny osa sy ny tsy mino sy ny vetaveta sy ny mpamono olona sy ny mpijangajanga sy ny mpanao ody ratsy sy ny mpanompo sampy ary ny mpandainga rehetra dia hanana ny anjarany ao anatin'ny farihy mirehitra afo sy solifara; izany no fahafatesana faharoa.

⁹And there came one of the seven angels which had had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues, and spoke with me, saying, Come here, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

⁹Ary tonga ny anankiray tamin'ny anjely fito izay nanana ny lovia fito, dia ireo nitondra ny loza fito farany ka nanao tamiko hoe: Avia etỳ, dia hasehoko anao ny ampakarina, vadin'ny Zanak'ondry. [ Gr. feno]

¹⁰And he carried me away in [the] Spirit, [and set me] on a great and high mountain, and shewed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God,

¹⁰Ary nitondra ahy tamin'ny Fanahy ho any an-tendrombohitra sady lehibe no avo izy ka naneho ahy ny tanàna masina, dia Jerosalema, midina avy tamin'Andriamanitra any an-danitra,

¹¹having the glory of God. Her shining [was] like a most precious stone, as a crystal-like jasper stone;

¹¹sady manana ny voninahitr'Andriamanitra izy; ny famirapirany dia tahaka ny vato soa indrindra, dia tahaka ny vato jaspy, manganohano toy ny vato krystaly;

¹²having a great and high wall; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed, which are those of the twelve tribes of [the] sons of Israel.

¹²ary manana mànda lehibe sady avo sy vavahady roa ambin'ny folo izy, ary eo amin'ny vavahady dia misy anjely roa ambin'ny folo, ary misy anarana voasoratra eo, dia ny an'ny firenena roa ambin'ny folo amin'ny Zanak'isiraely;

¹³On [the] east three gates; and on [the] north three gates; and on [the] south three gates; and on [the] west three gates.

¹³eo atsinanana vavahady telo; eo avaratra vavahady telo; eo atsimo vavahady telo; eo andrefana vavahady telo.

¹⁴And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

¹⁴Ary ny màndan'ny tanàna dia misy fanorenana roa ambin'ny folo, ary misy anarana roa ambin'ny folo koa eo, dia ny an ny Apostoly roa ambin'ny folon'ny Zanak'ondry.

¹⁵And he that spoke with me had a golden reed [as] a measure, that he might measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.

¹⁵Ary ilay niteny tamiko dia nanana fandrefesana volotara volamena handrefesany ny tanàna sy ny vavahadiny ary ny màndany.

¹⁶And the city lies four-square, and its length [is] as much as the breadth. And he measured the city with the reed -- twelve thousand stadia: the length and the breadth and height of it are equal.

¹⁶Ary ny tanàna dia efa-joro, ka mitovy ny lavany sy ny sakany; ary nandrefy ny tanàna tamin'ny volotara izy, ka roa arivo sy iray alina stadio. Mitovy ny lavany sy ny sakany ary ny hahavony.

¹⁷And he measured its wall, a hundred [and] forty-four cubits, [a] man's measure, that is, [the] angel's.

¹⁷Ary nandrefy ny màndany izy, ka efatra amby efa-polo amby zato hakiho, araka ny refin'ny olona, dia ny an'ny anjely.

¹⁸And the building of its wall [was] jasper; and the city pure gold, like pure glass:

¹⁸Ary ny màndany dia vato jaspy; ary ny tanàna dia tena volamena, toy ny fitaratra madio.

¹⁹the foundations of the wall of the city [were] adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation, jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;

¹⁹Ary ny fanorenan'ny màndan'ny tanàna dia voaravaka vato soa samy hafa rehetra. Ny fanorenana voalohany jaspy, ny faharoa safira, ny fahatelo kalkedona, ny fahefatra emeralda,

²⁰the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.

²⁰ny fahadimy sardonyksa, ny fahenina karneola, ny fahafito krysolita, ny fahavalo beryla, ny fahasivy topaza, ny fahafolo krysopraso, ny faharaika ambin'ny folo hyakinta, ny faharoa ambin'ny folo ametysta.

²¹And the twelve gates, twelve pearls; each one of the gates, respectively, was of one pearl; and the street of the city pure gold, as transparent glass.

²¹Ary ny vavahady roa ambin'ny folo dia perila roa ambin'ny folo; perila iray avy ny isam-bavahady; ary ny lalambe teo an-tanàna dia tena volamena, toy ny fitaratra manganohano.

²²And I saw no temple in it; for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, and the Lamb.

²²Ary tsy nahita tempoly teo aho; fa ny Tompo Andriamanitra, dia ny Tsitoha, sy ny Zanak'ondry no tempoliny.

²³And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon, that they should shine for it; for the glory of God has enlightened it, and the lamp thereof [is] the Lamb.

²³Ary ny tanàna tsy mba mila ny masoandro na ny volana hamirapiratra aminy; fa ny voninahitr'Andriamanitra no nanazava ary, ary ny Zanak'ondry no fanazavana azy. [ Gr. jirony]

²⁴And the nations shall walk by its light; and the kings of the earth bring their glory to it.

²⁴Ary ny firenena maro no handeha amin'ny fahazavany; ary ny mpanjakan'ny tany dia mitondra ny voninahiny ho ao anatiny.

²⁵And its gates shall not be shut at all by day, for night shall not be there.

²⁵Ary ny vavahadiny tsy harindrina akory amin'ny andro (fa tsy mba hisy alina ao).

²⁶And they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations to it.

²⁶Ary ny voninahitra sy ny hajan'ny firenena maro dia ho entina ao anatiny.Ary tsy mba hiditra ao mihitsy izay tsy masina, na izay manao vetaveta, na izay mandainga, fa izay voasoratra ao anatin'ny bokin'ny fiainana izay an'ny Zanak'ondry ihany.

²⁷And nothing common, nor that maketh an abomination and a lie, shall at all enter into it; but those only who [are] written in the book of life of the Lamb.

²⁷Ary tsy mba hiditra ao mihitsy izay tsy masina, na izay manao vetaveta, na izay mandainga, fa izay voasoratra ao anatin'ny bokin'ny fiainana izay an'ny Zanak'ondry ihany.
