¹And if his offering be a sacrifice of peace-offering, -- if he present [it] of the herd, whether a male or female, he shall present it without blemish before Jehovah.

¹¶ Na, mehemea he patunga mo te pai tana e tapae ai; ki te mea no nga kau tana whakahere, ahakoa toa, ahakoa uha, kia kohakore tana e tuku ai ki te aroaro o Ihowa.

²And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and slaughter it at the entrance of the tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood on the altar round about.

²Na ka popoki tona ringa ki te matenga o tana whakahere, ka patu ai ki te whatitoka o te tapenakara o te whakaminenga: na ka tauhiuhia te toto e nga tohunga, e nga tama a Arona, ki te aata a tawhio noa.

³And he shall present of the sacrifice of peace-offering an offering by fire to Jehovah; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards,

³Na me tapae e ia he whakahere ahi ki a Ihowa i roto i te patunga mo te pai; ko te ngako e whiwhiwhiwhi ana ki nga whekau, me te ngako katoa o nga whekau,

⁴and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liver which he shall take away as far as the kidneys;

⁴Me nga whatukuhu e rua, me to reira ngako, tera i te hope, me te taupa i te ate, me nga whatukuhu, me tango tera e ia.

⁵and Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt-offering which [lieth] on the wood that is upon the fire: [it is] an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour.

⁵A me tahu e nga tama a Arona ki te aata, ki runga i te tahunga tinana i runga i nga wahie o te ahi: he whakahere ahi tena, he kakara reka ki a Ihowa.

⁶And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace-offering to Jehovah be of small cattle, male or female, he shall present it without blemish.

⁷If he present a sheep for his offering, then shall he present it before Jehovah,

⁸and shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and slaughter it before the tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.

⁹And he shall present of the sacrifice of peace-offering an offering by fire to Jehovah; the fat thereof, the whole fat tail, which he shall take off close by the backbone, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards,

¹²And if his offering be a goat, then he shall present it before Jehovah.

¹⁴And he shall present thereof his offering, an offering by fire to Jehovah; the fat that covereth the inwards and all the fat that is on the inwards,

¹⁶and the priest shall burn them on the altar: [it is] the food of the offering by fire for a sweet odour. All the fat [shall be] Jehovah's.

¹⁷[It is] an everlasting statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings: no fat and no blood shall ye eat.

¹⁷Hei tikanga mau tonu tenei mo o koutou whakatupuranga, i o koutou nohoanga katoa, kia kaua e kainga tetahi ngako, toto ranei, e koutou.
