1And Jehovah said to Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith Jehovah the God of the Hebrews: Let my people go, that they may serve me.
1യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുനീ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്എബ്രായരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഎന്നെ ആരാധിപ്പാന് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്ക.
2For if thou refuse to let them go, and shalt retain them still,
2വിട്ടയപ്പാന് സമ്മതിക്കാതെ ഇനിയും അവരെ തടഞ്ഞു നിര്ത്തിയാല്,
3behold, the hand of Jehovah shall be on thy cattle which is in the field, on the horses, on the asses, on the camels, on the oxen and on the sheep, with a very grievous plague.
3യഹോവയുടെ കൈ കുതിര, കഴുത, ഒട്ടകം, കന്നുകാലി, ആടു എന്നിങ്ങനെ വയലില് നിനക്കുള്ള മൃഗങ്ങളിന്മേല് വരും; അതികഠിനമായ വ്യാധിയുണ്ടാകും.
4And Jehovah will distinguish between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt; and there shall nothing die of all that the children of Israel have.
4യഹോവ യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ മൃഗങ്ങള്ക്കും മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ മൃഗങ്ങള്ക്കും തമ്മില് വ്യത്യാസം വേക്കും; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്ക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിലും ഒന്നും ചാകയില്ല.
5And Jehovah appointed a set time, saying, To-morrow will Jehovah do this thing in the land.
5നാളെ യഹോവ ഈ കാര്യം ദേശത്തു ചെയ്യുമെന്നു കല്പിച്ചു സമയം കുറിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
6And Jehovah did this thing on the following day, and all the cattle of Egypt died; but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.
6അങ്ങനെ പിറ്റേ ദിവസം യഹോവ ഈ കാര്യം ചെയ്തുമിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ മൃഗങ്ങള് എല്ലാം ചത്തു; യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളുടെ മൃഗങ്ങളോ ഒന്നുപോലും ചത്തില്ല.
7And Pharaoh sent, and behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.
7ഫറവോന് ആളയച്ചു; യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ മൃഗങ്ങള് ഒന്നുപോലും ചത്തില്ല എന്നു കണ്ടു എങ്കിലും ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനപ്പെട്ടു അവന് ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയച്ചതുമില്ല.
8And Jehovah said to Moses and to Aaron, Take to yourselves handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses scatter it toward the heavens before the eyes of Pharaoh.
8പിന്നെ യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടുംഅടുപ്പിലെ വെണ്ണീര് കൈനിറച്ചു വാരുവിന് ; മോശെ അതു ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ആകാശത്തേക്കു വിതറട്ടെ.
9And it shall become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and shall become boils on man and on cattle, breaking out [with] blisters, throughout the land of Egypt.
9അതു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും ധൂളിയായി പാറി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തൊക്കെയും മനുഷ്യരുടെ മേലും മൃഗങ്ങളിന് മേലും പുണ്ണായി പൊങ്ങുന്ന പരുവാകും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
10And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it toward the heavens; and it became boils [with] blisters breaking out on man and on cattle.
10അങ്ങനെ അവര് അടുപ്പിലെ വെണ്ണീര് വാരി ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നു. മോശെ അതു ആകാശത്തേക്കു വിതറിയപ്പോള് അതു മനുഷ്യരുടെ മേലും മൃഗങ്ങളിന് മേലും പുണ്ണായി പൊങ്ങുന്ന പരുവായ്തീര്ന്നു.
11And the scribes could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils were on the scribes, and on all the Egyptians.
11പരുനിമിത്തം മന്ത്രവാദികള്ക്കു മോശെയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നില്പാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; പരു മന്ത്രവാദികള്ക്കും എല്ലാ മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
12And Jehovah made Pharaoh's heart stubborn, and he did not hearken to them, as Jehovah had told Moses.
12എന്നാല് യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നതു പോലെ അവന് ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ കഠിനമാക്കി; അവന് അവരെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചതുമില്ല.
13And Jehovah said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and set thyself before Pharaoh, and say to him, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews: Let my people go, that they may serve me.
13അപ്പോള് യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുനീ നന്ന രാവിലെ എഴുന്നേറ്റു, ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നു അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്എബ്രായരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഎന്നെ ആരാധിപ്പാന് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്ക.
14For I will at this time send all my plagues to thy heart, and on thy bondmen, and on thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.
15ഇപ്പോള് തന്നേ ഞാന് എന്റെ കൈ നീട്ടി നിന്നെയും നിന്റെ ജനത്തെയും മഹാമാരിയാല് ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ചു നിന്നെ ഭൂമിയില് നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയുമായിരുന്നു.
15For now shall I put forth my hand, and I will smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.
16എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ശക്തി നിന്നെ കാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും എന്റെ നാമം സര്വ്വഭൂമിയിലും പ്രസ്താവിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നും ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിര്ത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
16And for this very cause have I raised thee up, to shew thee my power; and that my name may be declared in all the earth.
17എന്റെ ജനത്തെ അയക്കാതിരിപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നീ ഇനിയും അവരെ തടഞ്ഞുനിര്ത്തുന്നു.
17Dost thou still exalt thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?
18മിസ്രയീം സ്ഥാപിതമായ നാള്മുതല് ഇന്നുവരെ അതില് ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ലാത്ത അതികഠിനമായ കല്മഴ ഞാന് നാളെ ഈ നേരത്തു പെയ്യിക്കും.
18Behold, to-morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since its foundation until now.
19അതുകൊണ്ടു ഇപ്പോള് ആളയച്ചു നിന്റെ മൃഗങ്ങളെയും വയലില് നിനക്കുള്ള സകലത്തെയും അകത്തു വരുത്തിക്കൊള്ക. വീട്ടില് വരുത്താതെ വയലില് കാണുന്ന സകലമനുഷ്യന്റെയും മൃഗത്തിന്റെയും മേല് കല്മഴ പെയ്യുകയും എല്ലാം ചാകയും ചെയ്യും.
19And now send, [and] secure thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field: all the men and the cattle that are found in the field, and are not brought home -- on them the hail shall come down, and they shall die.
20ഫറവോന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരില് യഹോവയുടെ വചനത്തെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടവര് ദാസന്മാരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും വീടുകളില് വരുത്തി രക്ഷിച്ചു.
20He that feared the word of Jehovah among the bondmen of Pharaoh made his bondmen and his cattle flee into the houses.
21എന്നാല് യഹോവയുടെ വചനത്തെ പ്രമാണിക്കാതിരുന്നവര് ദാസന്മാരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും വയലില് തന്നേ വിട്ടേച്ചു.
21But he that did not regard the word of Jehovah left his bondmen and his cattle in the field.
22പിന്നെ യഹോവ മോശെയോടുമിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും മനുഷ്യരുടെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയും മേലും മിസ്രയീം ദേശത്തുള്ള സകല സസ്യത്തിന്മേലും കല്മഴ വരുവാന് നിന്റെ കൈ ആകാശത്തേക്കു നീട്ടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
22And Jehovah said to Moses, Stretch out thy hand toward the heavens, that there may be hail throughout the land of Egypt, upon men, and upon cattle, and upon every herb of the field in the land of Egypt.
23മോശെ തന്റെ വടി ആകാശത്തേക്കു നീട്ടി; അപ്പോള് യഹോവ ഇടിയും കല്മഴയും അയച്ചു; തീ ഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പാഞ്ഞിറങ്ങി; യഹോവ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്മേല് കല്മഴ പെയ്യിച്ചു.
23And Moses stretched out his staff toward the heavens, and Jehovah gave thunder and hail; and the fire ran along the ground; and Jehovah rained hail on the land of Egypt.
24ഇങ്ങനെ കല്മഴയും കല്മഴയോടു കൂടെ വിടാതെ ഇറങ്ങുന്ന തീയും അതികഠിനമായിരുന്നു; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു ജനവാസം തുടങ്ങിയതുമുതല് അതിലെങ്ങും ഇതുപോലെ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല.
24And there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there had been none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
25മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും വയലില് ഇരുന്ന സകലത്തെയും കല്മഴ സംഹരിച്ചു; കല്മഴ വയലിലുള്ള സകലസസ്യത്തെയും നശിപ്പിച്ചു; പറമ്പിലെ വൃക്ഷത്തെ ഒക്കെയും തകര്ത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.
25And the hail smote throughout the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both men and cattle; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field.
26യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് പാര്ത്ത ഗോശെന് ദേശത്തു മാത്രം കല്മഴ ഉണ്ടായില്ല.
26Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.
27അപ്പോള് ഫറവോന് ആളയച്ചു മോശെയെയും അഹരോനെയും വിളിപ്പിച്ചു അവരോടുഈ പ്രാവശ്യം ഞാന് പാപംചെയ്തു; യഹോവ നീതിയുള്ളവന് ; ഞാനും എന്റെ ജനവും ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്.
27And Pharaoh sent, and called Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time: Jehovah is the righteous [one], but I and my people are the wicked [ones].
28യഹോവയോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിപ്പിന് ; ഈ ഭയങ്കരമായ ഇടിയും കല്മഴയും മതി. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ടയക്കാം; ഇനി താമസിപ്പിക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
28Intreat Jehovah that it may be enough, that there be no more thunder of God and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer!
29മോശെ അവനോടുഞാന് പട്ടണത്തില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള് യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു കൈ മലര്ത്തും; ഭൂമി യഹോവേക്കുള്ളതു എന്നു നീ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇടിമുഴക്കം നിന്നുപോകും; കല്മഴയും പിന്നെ ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല.
29And Moses said to him, When I go out of the city, I will spread out my hands to Jehovah: the thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail; that thou mayest know that the earth is Jehovah's.
30എന്നാല് നീയും നിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരും യഹോവയായ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
30But as to thee and thy bondmen, I know that ye do not yet fear Jehovah Elohim.
31അങ്ങനെ ചണവും യവവും നശിച്ചുപോയി; യവം കതിരായും ചണം പൂത്തും ഇരുന്നു.
31And the flax and the barley were smitten; for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled.
32എന്നാല് കോതമ്പും ചോളവും വളര്ന്നിട്ടില്ലാഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു നശിച്ചില്ല.
32But the wheat and the spelt were not smitten; for they were not come out into ear.
33മോശെ ഫറവോനെ വിട്ടു പട്ടണത്തില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു കൈ മലര്ത്തിയപ്പോള് ഇടിമുഴക്കവും കല്മഴയും നിന്നു മഴ ഭൂമിയില് ചൊരിഞ്ഞതുമില്ല.
33And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to Jehovah; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not [any more] poured on the earth.
34എന്നാല് മഴയും കല്മഴയും ഇടിമുഴക്കവും നിന്നുപോയി എന്നു ഫറവോന് കണ്ടപ്പോള് അവന് പിന്നെയും പാപം ചെയ്തു; അവനും ഭൃത്യന്മാരും ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കി.
34And Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders had ceased, and he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he, and his bondmen.
35യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നതുപോലെ ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനപ്പെട്ടു, അവന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ വിട്ടയച്ചതുമില്ല.
35And the heart of Pharaoh was stubborn, neither would he let the children of Israel go, as Jehovah had spoken by Moses.
