1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
1യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു
2Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman conceive seed, and bear a male, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of the separation of her infirmity shall she be unclean.
2നീ യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്‍ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഗര്‍ഭംധരിച്ചു ആണ്‍കുഞ്ഞിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചാല്‍ അവള്‍ ഏഴു ദിവസം അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കേണം; ഋതുവിന്റെ മാലിന്യകാലത്തെന്നപോലെ അവള്‍ അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കേണം.
3And on the eighth day shall the flesh of his foreskin be circumcised.
3എട്ടാം ദിവസം അവന്റെ അഗ്രചര്‍മ്മം പരിച്ഛേദന ചെയ്യേണം.
4And she shall continue thirty-three days in the blood of her cleansing; no holy thing shall she touch, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her cleansing are fulfilled.
4പിന്നെ അവള്‍ മുപ്പത്തുമൂന്നു ദിവസം തന്റെ രക്ത ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തില്‍ ഇരിക്കേണം; അവളുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണകാലം തികയുന്നതുവരെ അവള്‍ യാതൊരു വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുവും തൊടരുതു; വിശുദ്ധ മന്ദിരത്തിലേക്കു വരികയും അരുതു.
5And if she bear a female, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation; and she shall continue sixty-six days in the blood of her cleansing.
5പെണ്‍കുഞ്ഞിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചാല്‍ അവള്‍ രണ്ടു ആഴ്ചവട്ടം ഋതുകാലത്തെന്നപോലെ അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കേണം; പിന്നെ അറുപത്താറു ദിവസം തന്റെ രക്തശുദ്ധീകരണത്തില്‍ ഇരിക്കേണം.
6And when the days of her cleansing are fulfilled, for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring a yearling lamb for a burnt-offering, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove for a sin-offering, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest.
6മകന്നു വേണ്ടിയോ മകള്‍ക്കു വേണ്ടിയോ അവളുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണകാലം തികഞ്ഞശേഷം അവള്‍ ഒരു വയസ്സുപ്രായമുള്ള ആട്ടിന്‍ കുട്ടിയെ ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നായിട്ടും ഒരു പ്രാവിന്‍ കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ ഒരു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായിട്ടും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്‍ക്കല്‍ പുരോഹിത തന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.
7And he shall present it before Jehovah, and make atonement for her; and she shall be clean from the flux of her blood. This is the law for her that hath borne a male or a female.
7അവന്‍ അതു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില്‍ അര്‍പ്പിച്ചു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല്‍ അവളുടെ രക്തസ്രവം നിന്നിട്ടു അവള്‍ ശുദ്ധയാകും. ഇതു ആണ്‍കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ പെണ്‍കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ പ്രസവിച്ചവള്‍ക്കുള്ള പ്രമാണം.
8And if her hand cannot find what is sufficient for a sheep, she shall bring two turtle-doves or two young pigeons; one for a burnt-offering, and the other for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her; and she shall be clean.
8ആട്ടിന്‍ കുട്ടിക്കു അവളുടെ പക്കല്‍ വകയില്ല എങ്കില്‍ അവള്‍ രണ്ടു കുറു പ്രാവിനെയോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിന്‍ കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ ഔന്നിനെ ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും മറ്റേതിനെ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നുമായി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; പുരോഹിതന്‍ അവള്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല്‍ അവള്‍ ശുദ്ധയാകും.
