1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
1യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു
2Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded, saying,
2നീ അഹരോനോടും പുത്രന്മാരോടും എല്ലായിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കളോടും പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്‍യഹോവ കല്പിച്ച കാര്യം ആവിതു
3Every one of the house of Israel that slaughtereth an ox, or sheep, or goat, in the camp, or that slaughtereth it out of the camp,
3യിസ്രായേല്‍ഗൃഹത്തില്‍ ആരെങ്കിലും കാളയെയോ ആട്ടിന്‍ കുട്ടിയെയോ കോലാടിനെയോ പാളയത്തില്‍വെച്ചെങ്കിലും പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുവെച്ചെങ്കിലും അറുക്കയും
4and doth not bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting to present it as an offering to Jehovah, before the tabernacle of Jehovah, blood shall be reckoned unto that man: he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people,
4അതിനെ യഹോവയുടെ കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ യഹോവേക്കു വഴിപാടായി അര്‍പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്‍ക്കല്‍ കൊണ്ടുവരാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്‍ അതു അവന്നു രക്തപാതകമായി എണ്ണേണം; അവന്‍ രക്തം ചൊരിയിച്ചു; ആ മനുഷ്യനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്‍നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.
5to the end that the children of Israel bring their sacrifices, which they sacrifice in the open field, that they bring them to Jehovah, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest, and sacrifice them as sacrifices of peace-offerings to Jehovah.
5യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കള്‍ വെളിന്‍ പ്രദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അര്‍പ്പിച്ചു വരുന്ന യാഗങ്ങളെ യഹോവേക്കു സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളായി അര്‍പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്‍ക്കല്‍ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില്‍ കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.
6And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and burn the fat for a sweet odour to Jehovah.
6പുരോഹിതന്‍ അവയുടെ രക്തം സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്‍ക്കല്‍ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല്‍ തളിച്ചു മേദസ്സു യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായി ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.
7And they shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices unto demons, after whom they go a whoring. This shall be an everlasting statute unto them for their generations.
7അവര്‍ പരസംഗമായി പിന്തുടരുന്ന ഭൂതങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ഇനി തങ്ങളുടെ ബലികള്‍ അര്‍പ്പിക്കരുതു; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി അവര്‍ക്കും എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.
8And thou shalt say unto them, Every one of the house of Israel, and of the strangers who sojourn among them, that offereth up a burnt-offering or sacrifice,
8നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്‍യിസ്രായേല്‍ഗൃഹത്തിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ പാര്‍ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും ഹോമയാഗമോ ഹനനയാഗമോ അര്‍പ്പിക്കയും
9and bringeth it not to the entrance of the tent of meeting, to offer it up to Jehovah -- that man shall be cut off from his peoples.
9അതു യഹോവേക്കു അര്‍പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്‍ക്കല്‍ കൊണ്ടുവരാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്‍ അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തില്‍നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.
10And every one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, that eateth any manner of blood, -- I will set my face against the soul that hath eaten blood, and will cut him off from among his people;
10യിസ്രായേല്‍ഗൃഹത്തിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ പാര്‍ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും വല്ല രക്തവും ഭക്ഷിച്ചാല്‍ രക്തം ഭക്ഷിച്ചവന്റെ നേരെ ഞാന്‍ ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ചു അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില്‍നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.
11for the soul of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that maketh atonement for the soul.
11മാംസത്തിന്റെ ജീവന്‍ രക്തത്തില്‍ അല്ലോ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു; യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ അതു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; രക്തമല്ലോ ജീവന്‍ മൂലമായി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ആകുന്നതു.
12Therefore have I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall the stranger who sojourneth among you eat blood.
12അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ നിങ്ങളില്‍ യാതൊരുത്തനും രക്തം ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ പാര്‍ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിയും രക്തം ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാന്‍ യിസ്രായേല്‍ മക്കളോടു കല്പിച്ചതു.
13And every one of the children of Israel, and of the strangers who sojourn among them, that catcheth in the hunt a beast or fowl that may be eaten, he shall pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with earth;
13യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കളിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ പാര്‍ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും തിന്നാകുന്ന ഒരു മൃഗത്തെയോ പക്ഷിയെയോ വേട്ടയാടി പിടിച്ചാല്‍ അവന്‍ അതിന്റെ രക്തം കളഞ്ഞു മണ്ണിട്ടു മൂടേണം.
14for as to the life of all flesh, its blood is the life in it; and I have said unto the children of Israel, Of the blood of no manner of flesh shall ye eat, for the life of all flesh is its blood: whoever eateth it shall be cut off.
14സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ജീവന്‍ അതിന്റെ ജീവാധാരമായ രക്തം തന്നേ. അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ ഞാന്‍ യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കളോടുയാതൊരു ജഡത്തിന്റെ രക്തവും നിങ്ങള്‍ ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചതു; സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ജീവന്‍ അതിന്റെ രക്തമല്ലോ; അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനെയെല്ലാം ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.
15And every soul that eateth of a dead carcase, or of that which was torn, be it one home-born, or a stranger, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even: then he shall be clean.
15താനേ ചത്തതിനെയോ പറിച്ചുകീറിപ്പോയതിനെയോ തിന്നുന്നവനൊക്കെയും സ്വദേശിയായാലും പരദേശിയായാലും വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി വെള്ളത്തില്‍ കുളിക്കയും സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കയും വേണം; പിന്നെ അവന്‍ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനാകും.
16And if he wash them not nor bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.
16വസ്ത്രം അലക്കാതെയും ദേഹം കഴുകാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല്‍ അവന്‍ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കേണം.
