1And Jehovah spoke to Moses in mount Sinai, saying,
1യഹോവ സീനായിപര്വ്വതത്തില്വെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതതുശബ്ബത്തു ആചരിക്കേണം.
2Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, When ye come into the land that I will give you, the land shall celebrate a sabbath to Jehovah.
2ആറു സംവത്സരം നിന്റെ നിലം വിതെക്കേണം; അവ്വണ്ണം ആറു സംവത്സരം നിന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം വള്ളിത്തല മുറിച്ചു അനുഭവം എടുക്കേണം.
3Six years shalt thou sow thy field, and six years shalt thou prune thy vineyard, and gather in the produce thereof,
3ഏഴാം സംവത്സരത്തിലോ ദേശത്തിന്നു സ്വസ്ഥതയുള്ള ശബ്ബത്തായ യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ബത്ത് ആയിരിക്കേണം; നിന്റെ നിലം വിതെക്കയും മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം വള്ളിത്തല മുറിക്കയും ചെയ്യരുതു.
4but in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest for the land, a sabbath to Jehovah. Thy field shalt thou not sow, and thy vineyard shalt thou not prune.
4ദേശത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തില് താനേ വിളയുന്നതു നിങ്ങളുടെ ആഹാരമായിരിക്കേണം; നിനക്കും നിന്റെ ദാസന്നും ദാസിക്കും കൂലിക്കാരന്നും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിക്കും
5That which springeth up from the scattered seed of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, and the grapes of thine undressed vines thou shalt not gather: a year of rest shall it be for the land.
5നിന്റെ കന്നുകാലിക്കും കാട്ടുമൃഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ അനുഭവം ഒക്കെയും ആഹാരമായിരിക്കേണം.
6And the sabbath of the land shall be for food for you, for thee, and for thy bondman, and for thy handmaid, and for thy hired servant, and for him that dwelleth as a sojourner with thee, and for thy cattle,
6പിന്നെ ഏഴു ശബ്ബത്താണ്ടായ ഏഴേഴുസംവത്സരം എണ്ണേണം; അങ്ങനെ ഏഴു സബ്ബത്താണ്ടായ നാല്പത്തൊമ്പതു സംവത്സരം കഴിയേണം.
7and for the beasts that are in thy land: all the produce thereof shall be for food.
7അപ്പോള് ഏഴാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി മഹാധ്വനികാഹളം ധ്വനിപ്പിക്കേണം; പാപപരിഹാരദിവസത്തില് നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും കാഹളം ധ്വനിപ്പിക്കേണം.
8And thou shalt count seven sabbaths of years, seven times seven years; so that the days of the seven sabbaths of years be unto thee forty-nine years.
8അമ്പതാം സംവത്സരത്തെ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു ദേശത്തെല്ലാടവും സകലനിവാസികള്ക്കും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കേണം; അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു യോബേല്സംവത്സരമായിരിക്കേണംനിങ്ങള് താന്താന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം; ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിലേക്കും മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം.
9Then shalt thou cause the loud sound of the trumpet to go forth in the seventh month, on the tenth of the month; on the day of atonement shall ye cause the trumpet to go forth throughout your land.
9അമ്പതാം സംവത്സരം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു യോബേല് സംവത്സരമായിരിക്കേണം; അതില് നിങ്ങള് വിതെക്കയോ പടുവിളവു കൊയ്കയോ വള്ളിത്തല മുറിക്കാത്ത മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ പഴം പറിക്കയോ ചെയ്യരുതു.
10And ye shall hallow the year of the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty in the land unto all the inhabitants thereof; a [year of] jubilee shall it be unto you, and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family;
10അതു യോബേല്സംവത്സരം ആകുന്നു; അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം; ആയാണ്ടത്തെ അനുഭവം നിങ്ങള് വയലില് നിന്നുതന്നേ എടുത്തു തിന്നേണം.
11a year of jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap its aftergrowth, nor gather [the fruit of] its undressed vines.
11ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള യോബേല് സംവത്സരത്തില് നിങ്ങള് താന്താന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം.
12For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you; out of the field shall ye eat its produce.
12കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു എന്തെങ്കിലും വില്ക്കയോ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു എന്തെങ്കിലും വാങ്ങുകയോ ചെയ്താല് നിങ്ങള് തമ്മില് തമ്മില് അന്യായം ചെയ്യരുതു.
13In this year of the jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.
13യോബേല്സംവത്സരത്തിന്റെ പിമ്പുള്ള സംവത്സരങ്ങളുടെ സംഖ്യകൂ ഒത്തവണ്ണം നിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു വാങ്ങേണം; അനുഭവമുള്ള സംവത്സരങ്ങളുടെ സംഖ്യെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന് നിനക്കു വില്ക്കേണം.
14And if ye sell ought unto your neighbour, or buy of your neighbour's hand, ye shall not overreach one another.
14സംവത്സരങ്ങള് ഏറിയിരുന്നാല് വില ഉയര്ത്തേണം; സംവത്സരങ്ങള് കുറഞ്ഞിരുന്നാല് വില താഴ്ത്തേണം; അനുഭവത്തിന്റെ കാലസംഖ്യെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന് നിനക്കു വിലക്കുന്നു.
15According to the number of years since the jubilee, thou shalt buy of thy neighbour; according to the number of years of the produce, he shall sell unto thee.
15ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള് തമ്മില് തമ്മില് അന്യായം ചെയ്യരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണംഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
16According to the greater number of the years, thou shalt increase the price thereof; and according to the fewness of years, thou shalt diminish the price of it; for it is the number of crops that he selleth unto thee.
16അതു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ കല്പനകള് അനുസരിച്ചു എന്റെ വിധികള് പ്രമാണിച്ചു ആചരിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് ദേശത്തു നിര്ഭയം വസിക്കും.
17And ye shall not oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God; for I am Jehovah your God.
17ഭൂമി അതിന്റെ ഫലം തരും; നിങ്ങള് തൃപ്തിയായി ഭക്ഷിച്ചു അതില് നിര്ഭയം വസിക്കും.
18And ye shall do my statutes, and observe mine ordinances and do them: thus shall ye dwell in your land securely.
18എന്നാല് ഏഴാം സംവത്സരത്തില് ഞങ്ങള് എന്തു ഭക്ഷിക്കും? ഞങ്ങള് വിതെക്കയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അനുഭവമെടുക്കയും ചെയ്യരുതല്ലോ എന്നു നിങ്ങള പറയുന്നുവെങ്കില്
19And the land shall yield its fruit, and ye shall eat and be satisfied, and dwell therein securely.
19ഞാന് ആറാം സംവത്സരത്തില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം അരുളുകയും അതു മൂന്നു സംവത്സരത്തേക്കുള്ള അനുഭവം തരികയും ചെയ്യും.
20And if ye say, What shall we eat in the seventh year? behold, we may not sow, nor gather in our produce;
20നിലം ജന്മം വില്ക്കരുതു; ദേശം എനിക്കുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു; നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ അടുക്കല് പരദേശികളും വന്നു പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരും അത്രേ.
21then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, that it may bring forth produce for three years;
21നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശമായ ദേശത്തൊക്കെയും നിലത്തിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു സമ്മതിക്കേണം.
22and ye shall sow in the eighth year, and ye shall eat of the old fruit until the ninth year; until her produce come in, ye shall eat the old.
22നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് ദിരദ്രനായ്തീര്ന്നു തന്റെ അവകാശത്തില് ഏതാനും വിറ്റാല് അവന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരന് വന്നു സഹോദരന് വിറ്റതു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം.
23And the land shall not be sold for ever; for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.
23എന്നാല് വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുവാന് അവന്നു ആരും ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കയും താന് തന്നേ വകയുള്ളവനായി വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുവാന് പ്രാപ്തനാകയും ചെയ്താല്
24And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.
24അവന് അതു വിറ്റശേഷമുള്ള സംവത്സരം കണക്കുകൂട്ടി മിച്ചമുള്ളതു അതു വാങ്ങിയിരുന്ന ആള്ക്കു മടക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു തന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരേണം.
25If thy brother grow poor, and sell of his possession, then shall his redeemer, his nearest relation, come and redeem that which his brother sold.
25എന്നാല് മടക്കിക്കൊടുപ്പാന് അവന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയില്ല എങ്കില് വിറ്റുപോയ യോബേല് സംവത്സരംവരെ വാങ്ങിയവന്റെ കയ്യില് ഇരിക്കേണം; യോബേല്സംവത്സരത്തില് അതു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കയും അവന് തന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരികയും വേണം.
26And if the man have no one having right of redemption, and his hand have acquired and found what sufficeth for its redemption,
26ഒരുത്തന് മതിലുള്ള പട്ടണത്തില് ഒരു വീടു വിറ്റാല് വിറ്റശേഷം ഒരു സംവത്സരത്തിന്നകം അവന്നു അതു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളാം; വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുവാന് ഒരു സംവത്സരത്തെ അവധി ഉണ്ടു.
27then shall he reckon the years since the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; and so return unto his possession.
27ഒരു സംവത്സരം മുഴുവനും തികയുവോളം വീണ്ടുകൊണ്ടില്ലെങ്കില് മതിലുള്ള പട്ടണത്തിലെ വീടു, വാങ്ങിയവന്നു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എന്നും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കേണം; യോബേല്സംവത്സരത്തില് അതു ഒ ഴുഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടാ.
28And if his hand have not found what sufficeth for him to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of the purchaser, until the year of jubilee; and in the jubilee it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.
28മതിലില്ലാത്ത ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലെ വീടുകളോ ദേശത്തുള്ള നിലത്തിന്നു സമമായി വിചാരിക്കേണം; അവേക്കു വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു ഉണ്ടു; യോബേല്സംവത്സരത്തില് അവയെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കേണം.
29And if any one sell a dwelling-house in a walled city, then he shall have the right of redemption up to the end of the year of the sale thereof; for a full year shall he have the right of redemption.
29എന്നാല് ലേവ്യരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവരുടെ അവകാശമായ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ വീടുകളും ലേവ്യര്ക്കും എപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളാം.
30But if it be not redeemed until a whole year is complete, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it, throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubilee.
30ലേവ്യരില് ഒരുത്തന് വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നു എങ്കില് വിറ്റുപോയ വീടും അവന്റെ അവകാശമായ പട്ടണവും യോബേല്സംവത്സരത്തില് ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കേണം; ലേവ്യരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ വീടുകള് യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് അവര്ക്കുംള്ള അവകാശമല്ലോ.
31But the houses in villages that have no wall round about them shall be reckoned as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubilee.
31എന്നാല് അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളോടു ചേര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്ന പുല്പുറമായ ഭൂമി വില്ക്കരുതു; അതു അവര്ക്കും ശാശ്വതാവകാശം ആകുന്നു.
32But as to the cities of the Levites, the houses in the cities of their possession, the Levites shall have a perpetual right of redemption.
32നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് ദരിദ്രനായ്തീര്ന്നു നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വെച്ചു ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോയാല് നീ അവനെ താങ്ങേണം; അന്യനും പരദേശിയും എന്നപോലെ അവന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പാര്ക്കേണം.
33And if any one redeem from one of the Levites, then the house that was sold, in the city of his possession, shall go out in the jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.
33അവനോടു പലിശയും ലാഭവും വാങ്ങരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണം; നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പാര്ക്കേണം.
34And the field of the suburbs of their cities shall not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.
34നിന്റെ പണം പലിശെക്കു കൊടുക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ ആഹാരം അവന്നു ലാഭത്തിന്നായി കൊടുക്കയും അരുതു.
35And if thy brother grow poor, and he be fallen into decay beside thee, then thou shalt relieve him, [be he] stranger or sojourner, that he may live beside thee.
35ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കനാന് ദേശം തരുവാനും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായിരിപ്പാനും നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
36Thou shalt take no usury nor increase of him; and thou shalt fear thy God; that thy brother may live beside thee.
36നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് ദരിദ്രനായ്തീര്ന്നു തന്നെത്താന് നിനക്കു വിറ്റാല് അവനെ കൊണ്ടു അടിമവേല ചെയ്യിക്കരുതു.
37Thy money shalt thou not give him upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.
37കൂലിക്കാരന് എന്നപോലെയും വന്നുപാര്ക്കുംന്നവന് എന്നപോലെയും അവന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ഇരുന്നു യോബേല്സംവത്സരംവരെ നിന്നെ സേവിക്കേണം.
38I am Jehovah your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, to be your God.
38പിന്നെ അവന് തന്റെ മക്കളുമായി നിന്നെ വിട്ടുതന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം; തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു അവന് മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം.
39And if thy brother grow poor beside thee, and be sold unto thee, thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant:
39അവര് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഞാന് കൊണ്ടുവന്ന എന്റെ ദാസന്മാര് ആകകൊണ്ടു അവരെ അടിമകളായി വില്ക്കരുതു.
40as a hired servant, as a sojourner, shall he be with thee; until the year of jubilee shall he serve thee.
40അവനോടു കാഠിന്യം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണം.
41Then shall he depart from thee, he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.
41നിന്റെ അടിയാരും അടിയാട്ടികളും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാതികളില്നിന്നു ആയിരിക്കേണം; അവരില്നിന്നു അടിയാരെയും അടയാട്ടികളെയും കൊള്ളേണം.
42For they are my bondmen, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as [men] sell bondmen.
42അവ്വണ്ണം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് വന്നു പാര്ക്കുംന്ന അന്യജാതിക്കാരുടെ മക്കളില്നിന്നും അവര് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു ജനിപ്പിച്ചവരും നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നവനുമായ അവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളില്നിന്നും നിങ്ങള് വാങ്ങേണം; അവര് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അവകാശമായിരിക്കേണം;
43Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; and thou shalt fear thy God.
43നിങ്ങളുടെ ശേഷം നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കള്ക്കും അവകാശമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിലങ്ങള് അവരെ അവകാശമാക്കിക്കൊള്ളേണം; അവര് എന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അടിമകളായിരിക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളായ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടോ നിങ്ങള് കാഠിന്യം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കരുതു.
44And as for thy bondman and thy handmaid whom thou shalt have -- of the nations that are round about you, of them shall ye buy bondmen and handmaids.
44നിന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള പരദേശിയോ അന്യനോ സമ്പന്നനാകയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കലുള്ള നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് ദരിദ്രനായ്തീര്ന്നു തന്നെത്താന് അന്യന്നോ പരദേശിക്കോ അന്യന്റെ സന്തതിക്കോ വില്ക്കയും ചെയ്താല്
45Moreover of the children of them that dwell as sojourners with you, of them may ye buy, and of their family that is with you, which they beget in your land, and they shall be your possession.
45അവന് തന്നെത്താന് വിറ്റശേഷം അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം; അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന്നു അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം.
46And ye shall leave them as an inheritance to your children after you, to inherit them as a possession: these may ye make your bondmen for ever; but as for your brethren, the children of Israel, ye shall not rule over one another with rigour.
46അവന്റെ പിതൃവ്യന്നോ പിതൃവ്യന്റെ പുത്രന്നോ അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം; അല്ലെങ്കില് അവന്റെ കുടുംബത്തില് അവന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരില് ഒരുത്തന്നു അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം; അവന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുണ്ടെങ്കില് തന്നെത്താന് വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം.
47And if a stranger or sojourner become wealthy beside thee, and thy brother beside him grow poor, and sell himself unto the stranger, who is settled by thee, or to a scion of the stranger's family,
47അവന് തന്നെ വിറ്റ സംവത്സരം മുതല് യോബേല്സംവത്സരംവരെയുള്ള കാലക്കണകൂ തന്നെ വാങ്ങിയവനുമായി കൂട്ടിനോക്കേണം; അവന്റെ വില സംവത്സരസംഖ്യെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ആയിരിക്കേണം; അവന് ഒരു കൂലിക്കാരന്റെ കാലത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് പാര്ക്കേണം.
48after that he is sold there shall be right of redemption for him; one of his brethren may redeem him.
48സംവത്സരം ഏറെയുണ്ടെങ്കില് അതിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് തന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുവില തനിക്കു കിട്ടിയ പണത്തില്നിന്നു മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണം.
49Either his uncle or his uncle's son may redeem him, or one of his next relations of his family may redeem him; or if his means be sufficient, he may redeem himself.
49യോബേല്സംവത്സരംവരെ ശേഷിക്കുന്ന സംവത്സരം കുറെ മാത്രം എങ്കില് അവനുമായി കണക്കുകൂട്ടി സംവത്സരങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം തന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുവില മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണം.
50And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubilee; and the price of his sale shall be according to the number of the years, according to the days of a hired servant shall he be with him.
50അവന് ആണ്ടോടാണ്ടു കൂലിക്കാരന് എന്നപോലെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് ഇരിക്കേണം; നീ കാണ്കെ അവന് അവനോടു കാഠിന്യം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കരുതു.
51If there are yet many years, according unto them shall he return his redemption [money] out of the money that he was bought for;
51ഇങ്ങനെ അവന് വീണ്ടെടുക്കപ്പെടാതെയിരുന്നാല് അവനും അവനോടു കൂടെ അവന്റെ മക്കളും യോബേല് സംവത്സരത്തില് പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോകേണം.
52and if there remain but few years unto the year of jubilee, then he shall reckon with him; according unto his [remaining] years [of service] shall he give him back his redemption [money].
52യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് എനിക്കു ദാസന്മാര് ആകുന്നു; അവര് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഞാന് കൊണ്ടുവന്ന എന്റെ ദാസന്മാര്; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
53As a hired servant shall he be with him year by year; [his master] shall not rule with rigour over him before thine eyes.
54And if he be not redeemed in this manner, then he shall go out in the year of jubilee, he and his children with him.
55For the children of Israel are servants unto me; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am Jehovah your God.
