¹Now these are the last words of David: David the son of Jesse saith, And the man who was raised up on high, The anointed of the God of Jacob, And the sweet psalmist of Israel saith,

¹ဒါဝိဒ်မြွက်ဆိုသော နောက်ဆုံးစကားတည်းဟူသော၊ ယာကုပ်အမျိုး၏ဘုရားသခင့်အခွင့်နှင့် ဘိသိက် ခံရ၍ ဘုန်းကြီးသောသူ၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၌ချိုမြိန်စွာ သီချင်းဆိုသော ယေရှဲ၏သား ဒါဝိဒ်မြွက်ဆိုသော ပရော ဖက်စကားဟူမူကား၊

²The Spirit of Jehovah spoke by me, And his word was on my tongue.

²ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည်ငါ့အားဖြင့် မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့လျှာ၌ တည်၏။

³The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me, The ruler among men shall be just, Ruling in the fear of God;

³ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင်၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ကျောက်သည် ငါ့အားဖြင့် မိန့်မြွက်တော်မူသည် ကား၊ လူတို့ကို အုပ်စိုးသော သူသည်တရားသဖြင့် စီရင်၍ ဘုရားသခင်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့လျက် အုပ်စိုးရမည်။

⁴And [he shall be] as the light or the morning, [like] the rising of the sun, A morning without clouds; [When] from the sunshine, after rain, The green grass springeth from the earth.

⁴မိုဃ်းမအုံ့၊ နေထွက်သော နံနက်အလင်းကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ မိုဃ်းရွာပြီးမှ နေပေါ်ထွန်းသဖြင့် မြေ၌ပေါက်သော မြက်နုကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ်ရလိမ့်မည်။

⁵Although my house be not so before ùGod, Yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in every way and sure; For [this is] all my salvation, and every desire, Although he make [it] not to grow.

⁵ငါ့အမျိုးအနွယ်သည် ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော်၌ မြဲမြံသည်မဟုတ်လော။ သေချာစွာ စီရင်၍ မပျက် နိုင်သော နိစ္စထာဝရပဋိညာဉ်ကို ငါနှင့် ဖွဲ့တော်မူပြီ။ ထိုပဋိညာဉ်သည် ချက်ခြင်းမပြည့်စုံသော်လည်း၊ ငါ့ကို ကယ်တင်ရာအကြောင်း၊ ငါအားရနှစ်သက်ရာအကြောင်း ဖြစ်၏။

⁶But [the sons] of Belial [are] all of them as thorns thrust away, Because they cannot be taken with hands;

⁶အဓမ္မလူအပေါင်းတို့မူကားလက်နှင့် မကိုင်သာ၊ ပယ်ရှားရသော ဆူးပင်ကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁷And the man that will touch them provideth himself with iron and the staff of a spear; And they shall be utterly burned with fire in [their] place.

⁷ပယ်ရှားရသော သူသည်သံချပ်အင်္ကျီနှင့် လှံတံကို သုံးဆောင်သဖြင့်၊ ဆူးပင်ပေါက်သောအရပ်၌ပင် ရှင်းရှင်းမီးရှို့ရသတည်း။

⁸These are the names of the mighty men whom David had: Joseb-Bassebeth, Tachkemonite the chief of the captains: he was Adino the Eznite; he [fought] against eight hundred, slain [by him] at one time.

⁸ဒါဝိဒ်၏အမှုတော်ထမ်းသူရဲကြီးတို့၏ အမည်များဟူမူကား၊ ဟပ္ပေါနိအမျိုးယာဧရှာဘံသည် ဗိုလ်ချုပ် ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုသူသည် လှံကိုကိုင်လျက် လူသုံးရာကို တခါ တည်းတိုက်၍ လုပ်ကြံလေ၏။

⁹And after him, Eleazar the son of Dodo the son of an Ahohite: he was one of the three mighty men with David, when they had defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone up.

⁹သူနောက်မှာ အဟောဟိအမျိုးဒေါဒေါသား ဧလာဇာသည် ဒါဝိဒ်နှင့်အတူလိုက်သော သူရဲသုံး ယောက်အဝင်ဖြစ်၏။ စစ်တိုက်ခြင်းငှါ စုဝေးသော ဖိလိတ္တိလူတို့ကို ကြိမ်းပ၍ ဣသရေလလူတို့သည် ဆုတ် သွားသောအခါ၊

¹⁰He arose and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave to the sword; and Jehovah wrought a great deliverance that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.

¹⁰ထိုသူသည် လက်ညောင်း၍ထား၌မှီလျက်နေရ သည်တိုင်အောင် ထ၍ဖိလိတ္တိလူတို့ကို လုပ်ကြံသဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ထိုနေ့၌ကြီးစွာသော အောင်မြင်ခြင်း ကို ပြုတော်မူ၍၊ သူတို့သည် ရန်သူတို့၏ ဥစ္စာကို လုယူခြင်းငှါသာ ပြန်လာကြ၏။

¹¹And after him, Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite: the Philistines were gathered into a troop, and there was there a plot of ground full of lentils, and the people had fled before the Philistines;

¹¹သူ့နောက်မှာ ဟရရိအမျိုးအာဂိ၏သားရှမ္မ သည်ရှိ၏။ ဖိလိတ္တိလူတို့သည် ပြောင်းစပါးစိုက်သော လယ်ကွက်၌ စုဝေး၍၊ ဣသရေလလူတို့သည် ပြေးကြ သောအခါ၊

¹²and he stood in the midst of the plot and delivered it, and smote the Philistines, and Jehovah wrought a great deliverance.

¹²ထိုသူသည် လယ်ကွက်အလယ်၌ရပ်၍ စောင့်မ လျက် ဖိလိတ္တိလူတို့ကို လုပ်ကြံသဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကြီးစွာသော အောင်ခြင်းကို ပြုတော်မူ၏။

¹³And three of the thirty chiefs went down, and came to David in the harvest time to the cave of Adullam, when the troop of the Philistines was encamped in the valley of Rephaim.

¹³ဗိုလ်စုအဝင်သုံးယောက်တို့သည် စပါးရိတ်ရာ ကာလ၌၊ ဒါဝိဒ်ရှိရာ အဒုလံဥမင်သို့ ဆင်းသွား၍၊ ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့သည် ရေဖိမ်ချိုင်၌တပ်ချလျက် ရှိကြ၏။

¹⁴And David was then in the stronghold; and the Philistines' garrison was then at Bethlehem.

¹⁴ထိုအခါဒါဝိဒ်သည် ရဲတိုက်တွင်နေ၍၊ ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့သည် ဗက်လင်မြို့၌ တပ်ချကြ၏။

¹⁵And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me to drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is in the gate!

¹⁵ဒါဝိဒ်ကလည်း၊ တစုံတယောက်သော သူသည် ဗက်လင်မြို့တံခါးနားမှာရှိသော ရေတွင်းထဲက ရေကို ခပ်၍ ငါ့အားပေးပါစေသောဟု တောင့်တသော စိတ်နှင့် ဆိုသော်၊

¹⁶And the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, which is in the gate, and took it, and brought it to David; however he would not drink of it, but poured it out to Jehovah.

¹⁶ထိုသူရဲသုံးယောက်တို့သည် ဖိလိတ္တိတပ်ကို ဖျက်၍ ဗက်လင်မြို့ တံခါးနားမှာရှိသော ရေတွင်းထဲက ရေကို ခပ်ယူပြီးလျှင် ဒါဝိဒ်ထံတော်သို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ဒါဝိဒ်သည်မသောက်ဘဲ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့တော်၌သွန်းလျက်၊

¹⁷And he said, Be it far from me, Jehovah, that I should do this thing! is it not the blood of the men that went at the risk of their lives? Therefore he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men.

¹⁷အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ဤရေကို သောက်သောအမှု သည် အကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်ဝေးပါစေသော။ ဤရေသည် ကိုယ် အသက်ကိုမနှမြောဘဲသွားသော သူတို့၏အသွေးဖြစ်ပါ သည်မဟုတ်ပါလောဟု လျှောက်၍ မသောက်ဘဲနေ၏။ ထိုသူရဲသုံးယောက်တို့သည် ထိုသို့သောအမှုတို့ကိုပြုကြ၏။

¹⁸And Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was the chief of three; and he brandished his spear against three hundred and slew them; and he had a name among the three.

¹⁸ဇေရုယာသားယွာဘညီအဘိရှဲသည်လည်း သူရဲ သုံးယောက်တွင် အကြီးဖြစ်၏။ သူသည်လှံကိုကိုင်၍ လူသုံးရာတို့ကို တိုက်ဖျက်လုပ်ကြံသောကြောင့်၊ သူရဲ သုံးယောက်အဝင်နေရာရသတည်း။

¹⁹Was he not most honourable of three? and he was their captain; but he did not attain to the [first] three.

¹⁹သူရဲသုံးယောက်တွင် အမြတ်ဆုံးဖြစ်သည် မဟုတ်လော။ ထိုကြောင့် ဗိုလ်ချုပ်အရာကိုရ၏။ သို့သော် လည်း ပဌမသူရဲသုံးယောက်တို့ကိုမမှီ။

²⁰And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, son of a valiant man, great in exploits, of Kabzeel: he it was that smote two lions of Moab; and he went down and smote a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day.

²⁰အထူးသဖြင့် ပြုဘူးသောကပ်ဇေလမြို့သား သူရဲယောယဒ၏ သားဗေနာယသည်လည်း ခြင်္သေ့နှင့် တူသော မောဘလူနှစ်ယောက်ကို သတ်၏။ ဆောင်း ကာလ၌လည်း အခြားသို့သွား၍ မြေတွင်း၌ရှိသော ခြင်္သေ့ကို သတ်၏။

²¹He also smote the Egyptian, an imposing man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; and he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear.

²¹ထူးခြားသောအဲဂုတ္တုလူကိုလည်း သတ်၏။ အဲဂုတ္တုလူသည်လှံကို ကိုင်သော်လည်း၊ ဗေနာယသည် တောင်ဝေးကိုသာ ကိုင်လျက်သွား၍ အဲဂုတ္တုလူလက်မှ လှံကိုလုယူပြီးလျှင်၊ ထိုလှံနှင့်သူ့ကို သတ်၏။

²²These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he had a name among the three mighty men.

²²ထိုသို့သောအမှုတို့ကို ယောယဒသားဗေနာယပြု၍ သူရဲသုံးယောက်အဝင်နေရာကို ရ၏။

²³He was honoured above the thirty, but he did not attain to the [first] three. And David set him in his council.

²³ဗိုလ်များထက်သာ၍ မြတ်သော်လည်း၊ ပဌမ သူရဲသုံးယောက်တို့ကို မမှီ။ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် အတွင်းဝန်ချုပ် အရာကိုလည်းပေး၏။

²⁴Asahel the brother of Joab was one of the thirty; Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,

²⁴ယွာဘညီအာသဟေလသည်လည်း ဗိုလ်စုအဝင်ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုအတူဗက်လင်မြို့နေ၊ ဒေါဒေါ၏သား ဧလဟာနန်၊

²⁵Shammah the Harodite, Elika the Harodite,

²⁵ဟရောဒိအမျိုးရှမ္မ၊ ဟရောဒိအမျိုးဧလိက၊

²⁶Helez the Paltite, Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite,

²⁶ဖာလတိအမျိုးဟေလက်၊ တေကောအမျိုး ဣကေရှ၏သား ဣရ၊

²⁷Abiezer the Anathothite, Mebunnai the Hushathite,

²⁷အနေသောသိအမျိုးအဗျေဇာ၊ ဟုရှသိအမျိုး မေဗုန္နဲ၊

²⁸Zalmon the Ahohite, Maharai the Netophathite,

²⁸အဟောဟိအမျိုးဇာလမုန်၊ နေတော ဖာသိအမျိုး မဟာရဲ၊

²⁹Heleb the son of Baanah, the Netophathite, Ittai the son of Ribai of Gibeah of the children of Benjamin,

²⁹နေတာဖာသိအမျိုးဗာနာသားဟေလက်၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန်အမျိုးဂိဗာမြို့နေ၊ ရိဘဲ၏ သားအိတ္တဲ၊

³⁰Benaiah a Pirathonite, Hiddai of the brooks of Gaash,

³⁰ပိရသောနိအမျိုးဗေနာယ၊ ဂါရှချိုင့် သားဟိဒ္ဒဲ၊

³¹Abi-albon the Arbathite, Azmaveth the Barhumite,

³¹အာဗသိအမျိုး အဗျာလဗုန်၊ ဗာဟုမိအမျိုး အာဇမာဝက်၊

³²Eliahba the Shaalbonite, of the sons of Jashen, Jonathan,

³²ရှာလဗောနိ အမျိုးဧလျာဘ၊ ယာရှင်၏သား တို့တွင် ယောနသန်၊

³³Shammah the Ararite, Ahiam the son of Sharar the Ararite,

³³ဟာရရိအမျိုးရှမ္မ၊ ဟာရရိအမျိုးရှာရ၏ သား အဟိအံ၊

³⁴Eliphelet the son of Ahasbai, the son of the Maachathite, Eliam the son of Ahithophel the Gilonite,

³⁴မာခါသိအမျိုးအဟသဘဲ၏သား ဧလိဖလက်၊ ဂိလောနိအမျိုး အဟိသောဖေလ၏သားဧလျံ၊

³⁵Hezrai the Carmelite, Paarai the Arbite,

³⁵ကရမေလ အမျိုးဟေဇရဲ၊ အာဘိအမျိုးဖာရဲ၊

³⁶Igal the son of Nathan of Zobah, Bani the Gadite,

³⁶ဇောဘအမျိုးနာသန်၏သား ဣဂါလ၊ ဂဒ်အမျိုး ဗာနိ၊

³⁷Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Beerothite, the armour-bearer of Joab the son of Zeruiah,

³⁷အမ္မုန်အမျိုးဇေလက်၊ ဇေရုယာ၏သားယွာဘ ၏ လက်နက်ဆောင်လုလင် ဗေရောသိအမျိုးနဟာရဲ၊

³⁸Ira the Ithrite, Gareb the Ithrite,

³⁸ဣသရိ အမျိုးဣရ၊ ဣသရိအမျိုးဂါရက်၊

³⁹Uriah the Hittite: thirty-seven in all.

³⁹ဟိတ္တိအမျိုးဥရိယ၊ ပေါင်းသုံးဆယ်ခုနစ်ယောက် တည်း။
