1And the life of Sarah was a hundred and twenty-seven years: [these were] the years of the life of Sarah.
1စာရာသည် အသက်တရာနှစ်ဆယ်ခုနစ်နှစ်ရှိ ၏။ ထိုမျှလောက် အသက်ကြီးသော်၊
2And Sarah died in Kirjath-Arba: that is Hebron, in the land of Canaan. And Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.
2ခါနာန်ပြည်၊ ဟေဗြုန်မြို့တည်းဟူသော၊ ကိရယ သာဘမြို့၌ သေလေ၏။ အာဗြဟံသည်လည်း စာရာ ကြောင့် ညည်းတွားငိုကြွေးခြင်းငှါ လာ၏။
3And Abraham rose up from before his dead, and spoke to the sons of Heth, saying,
3အာဗြဟံသည် မိမိမယားအသေကောင်ရှေ့က ထ၍၊ ဟေသအမျိုးသားတို့အား၊
4I am a stranger and a sojourner with you; give me a possession of a sepulchre with you, that I may bury my dead from before me.
4ငါသည် သင်တို့ထံမှာ ဧည့်သည်အာဂန္တုဖြစ်ပါ ၏။ ငါ၏မယားအသေကောင်ကို မျက်ကွယ်မြှုပ်မည် အကြောင်း၊ သင်တို့တွင် သင်္ချိုင်းကို ငါ့အားအခွင့်ပေးပါ လော့ဟု ဆို၏။
5And the sons of Heth answered Abraham, saying to him,
5ဟေသအမျိုးသားတို့က၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သခင်၊ နား ထောင်ပါ။
6Hear us, my lord: thou art a prince of God among us: in the choicest of our sepulchres bury thy dead: none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre for burying thy dead.
6ကိုယ်တော်သည်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင်၊ ဘုရားသခင် နှင့်ဆိုင်သောမင်း ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏သင်္ချိုင်းများ တွင် ရွေး၍၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏မယား အသေကောင်ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ပါလော့။ ကိုယ်တော်၏မယားအသေကောင်ကို မသင်္ဂြိုဟ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူမျှ မိမိ သင်္ချိုင်းကို မပေးဘဲမနေပါဟု၊ အာဗြဟံအား ပြန်ပြောကြ ၏။
7And Abraham rose up, and bowed down to the people of the land, to the sons of Heth,
7အာဗြဟံသည် ထ၍၊ ထိုပြည်သားတည်းဟူသော ဟေသအမျိုးသားများရှေ့မှာ ဦးညွှတ်ချလျက်၊
8and spoke to them, saying, If it be your will that I should bury my dead from before me, hear me, and entreat for me Ephron the son of Zohar,
8ငါသည် ငါ၏မယားအသေကောင်ကို မျက်ကွယ် မြှုပ်စေခြင်းငှါ သင်တို့ အလိုရှိလျှင်၊ ငါ့စကားကို နား ထောင်ကြပါလော့။
9that he may give me the cave of Machpelah, which is his, which is at the end of his field; for the full money let him give it to me amongst you for a possession of a sepulchre.
9သင်တို့တွင် ငါပိုင်ထိုက်သောသင်္ချိုင်းရှိစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ဇောဟာသား ဧဖရုန်သည်၊ မိမိလယ်ပြင်အစွန်း၌ ရှိသော မပ္ပေလပြေတွင်းကို၊ အဘိုးထိုက်သမျှ ငွေနှင့်ငါ့အား ရောင်းစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ငါ့အတွက်သူ့ကို တောင်းပန်ကြပါလော့ ဟု နှုတ်ဆက်၍ ပြောဆို၏။
10And Ephron was dwelling among the sons of Heth. And Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham, in the ears of the sons of Heth, [even] of all that went in at the gate of his city, saying,
10ထိုအခါ ဧဖရုန်သည်၊ ဟေသအမျိုးသားတို့တွင် ထိုင်လျက်ရှိ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ မြို့တံခါးသို့ ဝင်သော သူ အပေါင်းတည်းဟူသော ဟေသအမျိုးသား ပရိတ်သတ်၌၊ ဟိတ္တိအမျိုးသားဧဖရုန်က၊ ထိုသို့မဟုတ်ပါ။
11No, my lord: hear me. The field give I thee; and the cave that is in it, to thee I give it; before the eyes of the sons of my people give I it thee: bury thy dead.
11အကျွန်ုပ်သခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်စကားကို နားထောင် ပါ။ ထိုလယ်ပြင်ကို၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်အား အကျွန်ုပ်ပေး ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်အမျိုးသားများ ရှေ့၌၊ ကိုယ်တော်အား အကျွန်ုပ်ပေးပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်၏ မယားအသေကောင်ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ပါဟု၊ အာဗြဟံအား ပြန်ပြောလေ၏။
12And Abraham bowed down before the people of the land;
12အာဗြဟံသည်လည်း၊ ထိုပြည်သားများ ရှေ့မှာ ဦးညွှတ်ချလျက်၊ အကယ်၍ ငါ့စကားကို နားထောင်ပါ။
13and he spoke to Ephron, in the ears of the people of the land, saying, But if only thou wouldst listen to me, I give the money for the field: take [it] of me, and I will bury my dead there.
13ထိုလယ်ပြင်အဘိုးငွေကို ငါပေးမည်။ ငွေကိုယူပါ၊ သို့ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ ထိုအရပ်၌ ငါ၏မယားအသေကောင်ကို ငါသင်္ဂြိုဟ်ပါမည်ဟု ပြည်သား ပရိသတ်တို့ရှေ့မှာ၊ ဧဖရုန် အား ပြောဆို၏။
14And Ephron answered Abraham, saying to him,
14ဧဖရုန်ကလည်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သခင်၊ နားထောင်ပါ။
15My lord, hearken to me. A field of four hundred shekels of silver, what is that between me and thee? bury therefore thy dead.
15ထိုမြေသည် ငွေလေးပိဿာအဘိုးထိုက်ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့် အကျွန်ုပ်၌ အဘယ်အတွက်ရှိသနည်း။ ကိုယ်တော်၏မယား အသေကောင်ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ပါလော့ဟု၊ အာဗြဟံအားပြန်ပြော၏။
16And Abraham hearkened to Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the money that he had named in the ears of the sons of Heth -- four hundred shekels of silver, current with the merchant.
16အာဗြဟံသည်လည်း၊ ဧဖရုန်စကားကို နားထောင်သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ကုန်သည်သုံးတတ်သော ငွေမျိုး၊ ဟေသအမျိုးသား ပရိသတ်ရှေ့၊ ဧဖရုန် အဘိုးပြတ်သည် အတိုင်း၊ ငွေလေးပိဿာကို ချိန်၍၊ သူ့အားပေးလေ၏။
17So the field of Ephron, which was at Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave that was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all its borders round about,
17ထိုသို့မံရေမြို့ရှေ့မှာ၊ မပ္ပေလအရပ်၌ရှိသော ဧဖရုန်၏လယ်ပြင်ကို၎င်း၊ လယ်ပြင်၌ ရှိသောမြေတွင်း နှင့်သစ်ပင်များ၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်သစ်ပင်များကို၎င်း၊
18were assured to Abraham for a possession before the eyes of the sons of Heth, before all who went in at the gate of his city.
18ဟေသအမျိုးသားပရိတ်သတ်၌၊ မြို့တံခါးသို့ ဝင် သောသူအပေါင်းတို့ရှေ့မှာ၊ အာဗြဟံဥစ္စာဘို့ လုံခြုံစွာ အပ်ပေးလေ၏။
19And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field at Machpelah, opposite to Mamre: that is Hebron, in the land of Canaan.
19ထိုနောက်မှ အာဗြဟံသည်၊ မံရေမြို့ရှေ့မှာ၊ မပ္ပေလလယ်ပြင် မြေတွင်း၌ မယားစာရာကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ရလေ ၏။ ထိုအရပ်ကား၊ ခါနာန်ပြည် ဟေဗြုန်အရပ် ဖြစ်သ တည်း။
20And the field and the cave that was in it were assured to Abraham for a possession of a sepulchre by the sons of Heth.
20ထိုလယ်ပြင်နှင့်မြေတွင်းကို၊ အာဗြဟံပိုင်ထိုက် သော သင်္ချိုင်းဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ဟေသအမျိုးသားတို့သည် လုံခြုံစွာ အပ်ပေးကြ၏။
