1And the serpent was more crafty than any animal of the field which Jehovah Elohim had made. And it said to the woman, Is it even so, that God has said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
1မြွေသည် ထာဝရအရှင်ဘုရားသခင် ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော မြေတိရစ္ဆာန်သကာတို့ထက် လိမ္မာသည် ဖြစ်၍၊ မိန်းမအား သင်တို့သည် ဥယျာဉ်၌ရှိသမျှသောအပင်တို့၏ အသီးကိုမစားရဟု ဧကန်စင်စစ် ဘုရား သခင်မိန့်တော်မူသလောဟု မေး၏။
2And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden;
2မိန်းမကလည်း၊ ငါတို့သည် ဥယျာဉ်ရှိသော အပင်တို့၏ အသီးကိုစားရသော အခွင့်ရှိ၏။
3but of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, God has said, Ye shall not eat of it, and ye shall not touch it, lest ye die.
3ဥယျာဉ်အလယ်၌ရှိသော အပင်၏အသီးကိုကား၊ သင်တို့သည် မကိုင်မစားပဲ နေကြလော့၊ သို့မဟုတ် သေမည်ဟု ဘုရားသခင် အမိန့်တော်ရှိသည်ဟု မြွေအားဆို၏။
4And the serpent said to the woman, Ye will not certainly die;
4မြွေကလည်း သင်တို့သည် ဧကန်အမှန် သေရမည်မဟုတ်၊
5but God knows that in the day ye eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and ye will be as God, knowing good and evil.
5အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုအသီးကိုစားသောနေ့၌ သင်တို့သည် မျက်စိပွင့်လင်းလျက် ကောင်းမကောင်းကို သိ၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြ လတံ့သည်ကို၊ ဘုရားသခင်သိတော်မူသည်ဟု မိန်းမအားဆို၏။
6And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a pleasure for the eyes, and the tree was to be desired to give intelligence; and she took of its fruit, and ate, and gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.
6ထိုအပင်သည် စားဘွယ်ကောင်းခြင်း၊ အဆင်းလည်းလှခြင်း၊ ပညာတိုးပွားစေလိုသောငှါ၊ နှစ်သက် ဖွယ်သော အပင်ဖြစ်ခြင်းကို မိန်းမသည် မြင်လျှင်၊ အသီးကို ယူ၍စား၏။ မိမိခင်ပွန်းအားလည်း ပေး၍ သူသည်လည်း စား၏။
7And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig-leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
7ထိုသူနှစ်ယောက်တို့သည် မျက်စိပွင့်လင်း၍ မိမိတို့၌ အဝတ်အချည်းစည်းရှိသည်ကို သိမြင်လျှင်၊ မိမိတို့ ဝတ်ရန်ဖို့ သင်္ဘောသဖန်းပင်အရွက်တို့ကို ချုပ်စပ်၍ ခါးစည်းကိုလုပ်ကြ၏။
8And they heard the voice of Jehovah Elohim, walking in the garden in the cool of the day. And Man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Jehovah Elohim, in the midst of the trees of the garden.
8နေဧသောအချိန်တွင်၊ ထိုဥယျာဉ်၌ ထာဝရအရှင်ဘုရားသခင် ကြွတော်မူသောအသံကို လုလင်မယားတို့သည် ကြားလျှင်၊ အထံတော်မှ လွတ်ခြင်းငှါ၊ ဥယျာဉ်အပင် တို့တွင် ပုန်းကွယ်လျက် နေကြ၏။
9And Jehovah Elohim called to Man, and said to him, Where art thou?
9ထာဝရအရှင် ဘုရားသခင်ကလည်း၊ သင်သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်းဟု၊ လူကိုခေါ်တော်မူ၏။
10And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I feared, because I am naked; and I hid myself.
10လူကလည်း ဥယျာဉ်၌ကိုယ်တော်၏ အသံကို ကျွန်တော်ကြားလျှင်၊ အဝတ်အချည်းစည်းရှိသောကြောင့်၊ ကြောက်၍ပုန်းလျက်နေပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
11And he said, Who told thee that thou art naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee not to eat?
11ဘုရားသခင်ကလည်း၊ သင်၌ အဝတ်အချည်းစည်းရှိသည်ကို သင်အားအဘယ်သူပြောသနည်း။ မစားရဟု ငါပညတ်သော အပင်၏အသီးကို စားပြီလောဟု မေးတော်မူ၏။
12And Man said, The woman, whom thou hast given [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.
12လူကလည်း ကျွန်တော်၌ အပ်ပေးတော်မူသော မိန်းမသည် ထိုအပင်၏အသီးကိုပေး၍ ကျွန်တော်စားမိပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
13And Jehovah Elohim said to the woman, What is this thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.
13ထာဝရအရှင်ဘုရားသခင်ကလည်း၊ သင်သည် အဘယ်သို့ပြုပြီးသနည်းဟု မိန်းမအားမေးတော်မူလျှင်၊ မိန်းမက မြွေသည် ကျွန်တော်မကို လှည့်စား၍၊ ကျွန်တော်မသည်စားမိပါပြီဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
14And Jehovah Elohim said to the serpent, Because thou hast done this, be thou cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field. On thy belly shalt thou go, and eat dust all the days of thy life.
14ထာဝရအရှင်ဘုရားသခင်သည် မြွေကိုခေါ်၍ သင်သည် ဤအမှုကို ပြုသောကြောင့် သားယဉ်သားရဲ အပေါင်းတို့ထက် ကျိန်ခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။ သင်သည် ဝမ်းဖြင့် သွား၍ မြေမှုန့်ကို တသက်လုံးစားရမည်။
15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he shall crush thy head, and thou shalt crush his heel.
15သင်နှင့်မိန်းမကို၎င်း၊ သင်၏အမျိုးအနွယ်နှင့် မိန်းမ၏ အမျိုးအနွယ်ကို၎င်း၊ ငါသည်ရန်ငြိုးဖွဲ့စေမည်။ သူသည် သင်၏ခေါင်းကို ကြိတ်လိမ့်မည်၊ သင်သည် သူ၏ဖနောင့်ကို ကြိတ်လိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
16To the woman he said, I will greatly increase thy travail and thy pregnancy; with pain thou shalt bear children; and to thy husband shall be thy desire, and he shall rule over thee.
16မိန်းမကိုလည်း၊ သင်၌ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင်ခြင်း ဝေဒနာကို ငါအလွန်များပြားစေရမည်။ ပင်ပန်းစွာ ဝေဒနာကို ခံ၍သားဘွားရမည်။ ကိုယ်ခင်ပွန်း၏ အလိုသို့လိုက်၍ သူ၏အုပ်စိုးခြင်းကိုလည်း ခံရမည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
17And to Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened to the voice of thy wife, and eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed be the ground on thy account; with toil shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;
17ယောက်ျားကိုလည်း၊ ထိုအပင်၏အသီးကို မစားရဟု ငါပညတ်သော်လည်း၊ သင်သည်မယား၏ စကားကိုနားထောင်၍ စားမိသောကြောင့်၊ မြေသည် သင်၏အတွက် ကျိန်ခြင်းကို ခံလျက်ရှိ၏။ မြေ၏အသီးကို တသက်ပတ်လုံးပင်ပန်းစွာ စားရမည်။
18and thorns and thistles shall it yield thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field.
18ဆူးပင်အမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကိုလည်း သင်အဖို့ မြေပေါက်စေမည်။ လယ်၌ဖြစ်သော ဟင်းသီးဟင်းရွက်တို့ကို သင် စားရမည်။
19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, until thou return to the ground: for out of it wast thou taken. For dust thou art; and unto dust shalt thou return.
19သင်ထွက်ရာမြေသို့မပြန်မှီတိုင်အောင်၊ သင်၏ မျက်နှာမှချွေးထွက်လျက် အစာကိုစားရမည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သင်သည် မြေမှုန့်ဖြစ်၍ မြေမှုန့်သို့ ပြန်ရမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
20And Man called his wife's name Eve; because she is the mother of all living.
20ထိုအခါလူသည် မိမိမယားကို ဧဝအမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သူသည် အသက်ရှင် သော သူအပေါင်းတို့၏ အမိဖြစ်သတည်း။
21And Jehovah Elohim made Adam and his wife coats of skin, and clothed them.
21ထာဝရအရှင် ဘုရားသခင်သည်လည်း လူလင် မယားတို့ သားရေဖြင့် ပတ်လုံကိုလုပ်၍ ဝတ်ခြုံစေတော် မူ၏။
22And Jehovah Elohim said, Behold, Man is become as one of us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he stretch out his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever ...!
22ထာဝရအရှင်ဘုရားသခင်ကလည်း၊ လူသည် ငါတို့တွင် တပါးပါးကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ကောင်းမကောင်း သိတတ်၏။ ယခုမှာ သူသည် ထာဝရအသက်ကို ရခြင်းငှါ၊ လက်ကိုဆန့်လျက် အသက်ပင်၏အသီးကို ယူ၍ မစားသင့်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
23Therefore Jehovah Elohim sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.
23လူသည် မိမိထွက်သော မြေ၌ လုပ်ရမည်အကြောင်း၊ ထာဝရအရှင်ဘုရားသခင်သည် ဧဒင် ဥယျာဉ်ထဲက လွှတ်လိုက်တော်မူ၏။
24And he drove out Man; and he set the Cherubim, and the flame of the flashing sword, toward the east of the garden of Eden, to guard the way to the tree of life.
24ထိုသို့လူကို နှင်ထုတ်ပြီးလျှင်၊ အသက်ပင်လမ်းကို စောင့်ရှောက်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ မီးစင်လက်နက်နှင့်တကွ ခေရုဗိမ်တို့ကို ဥယျာဉ်အရှေ့ဘက်၌ ထားတော်မူ၏။
