1And Jacob called his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, and I will tell you what will befall you at the end of days.
1ထိုရောအခါ၊ ယာကုပ်သည် မိမိသားတို့ကို ခေါ်၍၊ သင်တို့သည် စည်းဝေးကြလော့။ နောင်ကာလ အခါ၊ သင်တို့၌ ဖြစ်လတံ့သော အမှုအရာများကို ငါဟောပြောမည်။
2Assemble yourselves, and hear, ye sons of Jacob, And listen to Israel your father.
2ယာကုပ်၏သားတို့၊ စည်းဝေး၍ ကြားကြလော့။ အဘဣသရေလ၏စကားကို နားထောင်ကြလော့။
3Reuben, thou art my firstborn, My might, and the firstfruits of my vigour: Excellency of dignity, and excellency of strength.
3အိုရုဗင်၊ သင်သည် ငါ့သားဦး၊ငါ့အစွမ်းသတ္တိ၊ ငါခွန်အား အစအဦး၊ ဘုန်းအထွဋ်၊ တန်ခိုး အထွဋ်ဖြစ်၏။
4Impetuous as the waters, thou shalt have no pre-eminence; Because thou wentest up to thy father's couch: Then defiledst thou [it]: he went up to my bed.
4သို့သော်လည်း ရေကဲ့သို့ ပွက်ထသော သဘော ရှိသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ထူးမြတ်ခြင်းသို့ မရောက်ရ။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ သင်သည် အဘ၏အိပ်ရာကို တက်၍ ညစ်ညူး စေ၏။ ငါ့ခုတင်ထက်သို့ဘက်လေပြီတကား။
5Simeon and Levi are brethren: Instruments of violence their swords.
5ရှိမောင်နှင့်လေဝိသည် ညီအစ်ကိုဖြစ်၏။ အဓမ္မအမှုကို ကြံသည်အတိုင်း ပြီးစီးကြပြီ။
6My soul, come not into their council; Mine honour, be not united with their assembly; For in their anger they slew men, And in their wantonness houghed oxen.
6ငါ့ဝိညာဉ်သည် သူတို့လျှို့ဝှက်ခြင်း အမှုထဲသို့မဝင်ရ။ ငါ့ဘုန်းသည် သူတို့စည်းဝေးရာနှင့် အသင်းမဖွဲ့ရ။ သူတို့သည် အမျက်ထွက်၍ လူအသက်ကို သတ်ကြပြီ။ ကိုယ်အလိုသို့လိုက်၍ မြို့ကိုဖြိုဖျက်ကြပြီ။
7Cursed be their anger, for it [was] violent; And their rage, for it [was] cruel! I will divide them in Jacob, And scatter them in Israel.
7သူတို့ပြင်းစွာ ထွက်သောအမျက်၊ ကြမ်းတမ်းစွာသော ဒေါသသည် ကျိန်ခြင်းကို ခံပါစေသော။ ယာကုပ် အမျိုး၊ ဣသရေလအနွယ်သားတို့တွင် သူတို့ကို ငါကွဲပြား ပန့်လွင့်စေမည်။
8Judah -- [as to] thee, thy brethren will praise thee; Thy hand will be upon the neck of thine enemies; Thy father's children will bow down to thee.
8အိုယုဒ၊ သင်သည်ညီအစ်ကိုတို့ ချီးမွမ်းရသော သူဖြစ်၏။ သင်၏လက်သည် သင်၏ရန်သူလည်ပင်းပေါ် မှာ ရှိလိမ့်မည်။ အဘ၏သားတို့သည် သင့်ရှေ့မှာ ဦးညွှတ်ချကြလိမ့်မည်။
9Judah is a young lion; From the prey, my son, thou art gone up. He stoopeth, he layeth himself down as a lion, And as a lioness: who will rouse him up?
9ယုဒသည် ခြင်္သေ့ပျို ဖြစ်၏။ ငါ့သား၊ သင်သည် ဘမ်းယူကိုက်စားရာမှ တက်လာတက်၏။ ဝပ်လျက် နေ၏။ ခြင်္သေ့ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ခြင်္သေ့မကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဝပ်တွားတတ် ၏။ အဘယ်သူ နှိုးဆော်ဝံ့မည်နည်း။
10The scepter will not depart from Judah, Nor the lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh come, And to him will be the obedience of peoples.
10ရှိလော မရောက်မှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ရာဇလှံတံသည် ယုဒထံမှ၎င်း၊ မင်းအာဏာသည် သူ၏အမျိုး အနွယ်ထံမှ၎င်း မရွေ့ရ။ ရှိလော၌ လူမျိုးတို့သည် ဆည်းကပ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။
11He bindeth his foal to the vine, And his ass's colt to the choice vine; He washeth his dress in wine, And his garment in the blood of grapes.
11မိမိမြည်းကို စပျစ်နွယ်ပင်၌၎င်း၊ မြည်းကလေးကို အမြတ်ဆုံးသော စပျစ်နွှယ်ပင်၌၎င်း ချည်နှောင်၍၊ မိမိအဝတ်ပုဆိုးများကို စပျစ်သီးအသွေး တည်းဟူသော စပျစ်ရည်ဖြင့် လျှော်လိမ့်မည်။
12The eyes are red with wine, And the teeth [are] white with milk.
12သူ၏မျက်စိသည် စပျစ်ရည်နှင့် နီလိမ့်မည်။ သွားသည်လည်း နို့နှင့်ဖြူလိမ့်မည်။
13Zebulun will dwell at the shore of the seas; Yea, he will be at the shore of the ships, And his side [toucheth] upon Sidon.
13ဇာဗုလန်သည် ကမ်းနားမှာ နေ၍၊ သင်္ဘောဆိပ် ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ သူ၏နယ်သည် ဇိဒုန်မြို့တိုင်အောင် ကျယ်ဝန်းလိမ့်မည်။
14Issachar is a bony ass, Crouching down between two hurdles.
14ဣသခါသည် တောင်ကြားမှာ ဝပ်လျက် အားကြီးသောမြည်းဖြစ်၏။
15And he saw the rest that it was good, And the land that it was pleasant; And he bowed his shoulder to bear, And was a tributary servant.
15ငြိမ်ဝပ်ရာအရပ်ကောင်း၍ မြေသာယာသည်ကို မြင်သဖြင့်၊ မိမိပခုံးပေါ်မှာ ထမ်းပိုးကို တင်ထမ်း၍၊ အခွန်ပေးသော ကျွန်ဖြစ်လေ၏။
16Dan will judge his people, As another of the tribes of Israel.
16ဒန်သည် ဣသရေလအနွှယ် တစုံတပါးကဲ့သို့၊ မိမိလူတို့ကို စီရင်လိမ့်မည်။
17Dan will be a serpent on the way, A horned snake on the path, Which biteth the horse's heels, So that the rider falleth backwards.
17ဒန်သည် လမ်း၌နေသော မြွေဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ မြင်းစီးသောသူကို နောက်သို့ လဲစေခြင်းငှါ လမ်းကြားမှာ နေ၍၊ မြင်းခြေကို ကိုက်တတ်သော မြွေဆိုးဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။
18I wait for thy salvation, O Jehovah.
18အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကယ်တင်တော်မူခြင်းကျေးဇူးကို အကျွန်ုပ်မြော်လင့်လျက်နေပါပြီ။
19Gad -- troops will rush upon him; But he will rush upon the heel.
19ဂဒ်မူကား၊ စစ်သူရဲတိုသည် သူတို့တိုက်ကြ၍၊ သူသည် ပြန်တိုက်လိမ့်မည်။
20Out of Asher, his bread shall be fat, And he will give royal dainties.
20အာရှာ၌ဖြစ်သော အစာသည် အရသာနှင့် ပြည့်စုံ၍၊ မင်း၏ ခဲဘွယ်စားဘွယ်တို့ကို ထုတ်ပေးလိမ့် မည်။
21Naphtali is a hind let loose; He giveth goodly words.
21နဿလိသည် လှသောအခက်အလက်နှင့် ပြည့်စုံ၍၊ ကျယ်ဝန်းသော သပိတ်ပင်ဖြစ်၏။
22Joseph is a fruitful bough; A fruitful bough by a well; [His] branches shoot over the wall.
22ယောသပ်သည် သန်သောပျိုးပင်၊ ရေတွင်းနားမှာ သန်သော ပျိုးပင်ဖြစ်၏။ အခက်အလက်တို့သည် အုတ်ရိုးပေါ်မှာ ကျော်သွားကြ၏။
23The archers have provoked him, And shot at, and hated him;
23လေးသမားတို့သည် သူ့ကို အငြိုးထား၍၊ အလွန်ညှဉ်းဆဲပစ်ခတ်ကြ၏။
24But his bow abideth firm, And the arms of his hands are supple By the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob. From thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:
24သို့သော်လည်း သူ၏လေးသည် အားမလျော့။ သူကိုင်သော လက်နက်တို့သည်၊ ယာကုပ်အမျိုး၌ တန်ခိုး ကြီးသော ဘုရား၏လက်ဖြင့်၎င်း၊ သိုးထိန်းတည်းဟူသော ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ကျောက်ဖြင့်၎င်း၊
25From the ùGod of thy father, and he will help thee; And from the Almighty, and he will bless thee -- With blessings of heaven from above, With blessings of the deep that lieth under, With blessings of the breast and of the womb.
25သင့်ကိုမစတော်မူသော သင့်အဘ၏ ဘုရား သခင်အားဖြင့်၎င်း၊ သင့်ကို ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူသော အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်အားဖြင့်၎င်း ခိုင်မာလျက်ရှိ၏။ ထိုဘုရားသည် အထက်မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်၏ မင်္ဂလာ၊ အောက် နက်နဲသောအရပ်၏မင်္ဂလာ၊ သားမြတ်နှင့်ဆိုင်သောမင်္ဂလာ၊ ဝမ်းနှင့်ဆိုင်သောမင်္ဂလာတို့ဖြင့် သင့်ကို ကောင်းကြီး ပေးတော်မူပါစေသော။
26The blessings of thy father surpass the blessings of my ancestors, Unto the bounds of the everlasting hills: They shall be on the head of Joseph, And on the crown of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
26သင်၏အဘပေးသော ကောင်းကြီးမင်္ဂလာသည်၊ ထာဝရတောင်တို့၌ဖြစ်သော ကောင်းကြီးမင်္ဂလာ၊ ထာဝရကုန်းတို့၌ နှစ်သက်ဘွယ်သောအရာတို့ထက် သာ၍ မြတ်၏။ ထိုမင်္ဂလာသည် ယောသပ်ခေါင်းပေါ်၊ မိမိအစ်ကိုတို့တွင် အကြီးအကဲဖြစ်သောသူ၏ ခေါင်းထိပ်ပေါ်မှာ သက်ရောက်ပါစေသော။
27Benjamin -- [as] a wolf will he tear to pieces; In the morning he will devour the prey, And in the evening he will divide the booty.
27ဗင်္ယာမိန်သည် လုယူကိုက်စားတတ်သော တောခွေးဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ ဘမ်းရသော အရာကိုနံနက်အချိန်၌ ကိုက်စား၍၊ လုယူသောအရာကိုလည်း ညအချိန်၌ ဝေဖန်လိမ့်မည်ဟုမြွက်ဆို၏။
28All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father spoke to them; and he blessed them: every one according to his blessing he blessed them.
28ဤသူတို့ကား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး ဆယ်နှစ်မျိုး ဖြစ်၏။ ဤစကားသည်လည်း သူတို့အဘမြွက်ဆို၍၊ သူတို့ အသီးသီးခံရသော မင်္ဂလာရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊ ကောင်းကြီး ပေးသော စကားပေတည်း။
29And he charged them, and said to them, I am gathered to my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
29တဖန်တုံ၊ ငါ့လူမျိုးစည်းဝေးရာသို့ ငါသွားရမည်။ ဟိတ္တိအမျိုးသား၊ ဧဖရှန်၏လယ်ပြင်တွင်ရှိသော မြေတွင်း၌၊ ငါ့အဘတို့နှင့်အတူ ငါ့ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ကြပါ။
30in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is opposite to Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought of Ephron the Hittite along with the field for a possession of a sepulchre.
30ခါနာန်ပြည် မံရေမြို့ရှေ့မှာ၊ မပ္ပေလ လယ်ပြင်၌ရှိသော ထိုမြေတွင်းကို၊ အာဗြဟံသည် ကိုယ်ပိုင်သော သင်္ချိုင်းဘို့ လယ်ပြင်နှင့်တကွ ဟိတ္တိအမျိုးသားဧဖရုန်၌ ဝယ်လေပြီ။
31There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebecca his wife; and there I buried Leah.
31ထိုမြေတွင်း၌ အာဗြဟံနှင့် မယားစာရာကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ကြပြီ။ ဣဇာက်နှင့် မယားရေဗက္ကကိုလည်း သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ကြပြီ။ လေအာကိုလည်း ငါသင်္ဂြိုဟ်ပြီ။
32The purchase of the field, and of the cave that is in it, was from the children of Heth.
32ထိုမြေတွင်းရှိသော ထိုလယ်ပြင်ကို၊ ဟေသ အမျိုးသားရှေ့မှာ ဝယ်သတည်းဟု မှာထား၏။
33And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered his feet into the bed, and expired, and was gathered to his peoples.
33ထိုသို့ယာကုပ်သည် မိမိသားတို့ကို အကုန်အစင် မာထားပြီးလျှင်၊ မိမိခြေတို့ကို ခုတင်ပေါ်မှာ ရုပ်သိမ်း သဖြင့်၊ အသက်ချုပ်၍ မိမိလူမျိုးစည်းဝေးရာသို့ ရောက်လေ၏။
