¹For the law, having a shadow of the coming good things, not the image itself of the things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually yearly, perfect those who approach.

¹တနည်းကား၊ ပညတ်တရားသည် နောက်ဖြစ်လတံ့သော မင်္ဂလာအကျိုးတို့၏ သေချာသော ပုံသဏ္ဌာန် ကိုမပြ၊ အရိပ်ကိုသာပြသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ နှစ်စဉ်မပြတ်ပူဇော်သောယဇ်အားဖြင့် အထံတော်သို့ ချဉ်းကပ်သောသူတို့ကို စုံလင်ခြင်းအဖြစ်၌ မတည်စေနိုင်ရာ။

²Since, would they not indeed have ceased being offered, on account of the worshippers once purged having no longer any conscience of sins?

²တည်စေနိုင်လျှင်၊ ဝတ်ပြုသောသူတို့သည် တခါတည်းနှင့် စင်ကြယ်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ပြီးမှ၊ နောက်တဖန် သံဝေဂတရားရစရာအကြောင်း အလျှင်းမရှိသည်ဖြစ်သောကြောင့်၊ ထိုယဇ်တို့ကို တခါတည်းသာပူဇော်၍၊ နောက်တဖန် မပူဇော်ဘဲနေရကြမည်မဟုတ်လော။

³But in these [there is] a calling to mind of sins yearly.

³ယခုမူကား ယဇ်ပူဇော်သည်တွင် အပြစ်များကို နှစ်တိုင်းအောက်မေ့ခြင်းရှိ၏။

⁴For blood of bulls and goats [is] incapable of taking away sins.

⁴အကြောင်းမူကား၊ နွား၊ ဆိတ်၏အသွေးသည် အပြစ်ကို မပယ်နိုင်ရာ။

⁵Wherefore coming into the world he says, Sacrifice and offering thou willedst not; but thou hast prepared me a body.

⁵ထိုကြောင့်၊ ခရစ်တော်သည် ဤလောကသို့ ကြွလာသောအခါ၊ အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ယဇ်နှင့်ပူဇော်သက္ကာကို အလိုတော်မရှိ သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်အဘို့ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာကို ပြင်ဆင်တော်မူပြီ။

⁶Thou tookest no pleasure in burnt-offerings and sacrifices for sin.

⁶မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်နှင့် အပြစ်ဖြေရာ ယဇ်များကို အားရနှစ်သက်တော် မမူသောအခါ၊ ကျမ်းစာလိပ်၌ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို အမှတ်ပြု၍ ရေးထားသည်နှင့် အညီ၊

⁷Then I said, Lo, I come (in [the] roll of the book it is written of me) to do, O God, thy will.

⁷အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏အလိုကို ဆောင်အံ့သောငှါ သွားပါမည်ဟု အကျွန်ုပ်ဝန်ခံပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်ဆို၏။

⁸Above, saying Sacrifices and offerings and burnt-offerings and sacrifices for sin thou willedst not, neither tookest pleasure in (which are offered according to the law);

⁸ပညတ်တရားအတိုင်းပြုရသော ဝတ်ကိုရည်ဆောင်လျက် ခရစ်တော်က၊ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်၊ အပြစ်ဖြေရာ ယဇ်အစရှိသော ယဇ်များနှင့် ပူဇော်သက္ကာများတို့ကို ကိုယ်တော်သည် အလိုတော်မရှိ၊ အားရနှစ်သက်တော် မမူဟု အထက်ကဆိုနှင့်ပြီးမှ၊

⁹then he said, Lo, I come to do thy will. He takes away the first that he may establish the second;

⁹တဖန်တုံ၊ အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏ အလိုကို ဆောင်အံ့သောငှါ သွားပါမည်ဟု ဆိုသည်တွင်၊ ဒုတိယဝတ်ကို တည်စေခြင်းငှါ ပဌမဝတ်ကို ပယ်၏။

¹⁰by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹⁰ထိုအလိုတော်နှင့်အညီ ယေရှုခရစ်၏ ကိုယ်တော်ကို တခါတည်း ပူဇော်သောအားဖြင့်၊ ငါတို့သည် စင်ကြယ်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။

¹¹And every priest stands daily ministering, and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

¹¹ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မည်သည်ကား၊ နေ့တိုင်းဝတ်ပြုလျက်၊ အပြစ်ကို မဖြေနိုင်သော ယဇ်ကို အထပ်ထပ် အဖန်ဖန် ပူဇော်လျက်ရပ်နေရ၏။

¹²But *he*, having offered one sacrifice for sins, sat down in perpetuity at [the] right hand of God,

¹²ထိုသခင်မူကား၊ အပြစ်ကိုဖြေခြင်းငှါ ယဇ်တခုတည်းကို ပူဇော်ပြီးမှစ၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ လက်ျာတော် ဘက်၌ အစဉ်အမြဲထိုင်၍၊

¹³waiting from henceforth until his enemies be set [for the] footstool of his feet.

¹³မိမိရန်သူတို့ကို မိမိခြေတင်ရာ မချမထားမှီတိုင်အောင် မြော်လင့်လျက် နေတော်မူ၏။

¹⁴For by one offering he has perfected in perpetuity the sanctified.

¹⁴အကြောင်းမူကား၊ စင်ကြယ်သောသူတို့သည် ထာဝရစုံလင်ခြင်းငှါ၊ တခါတည်းပူဇော်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ပြုတော်မူ၏။

¹⁵And the Holy Spirit also bears us witness [of it]; for after what was said:

¹⁵ထိုသို့နှင့်အညီ၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် ငါတို့အား သက်သေပေးတော်မူသည်မှာ၊

¹⁶This [is] the covenant which I will establish towards them after those days, saith [the] Lord: Giving my laws into their hearts, I will write them also in their understandings;

¹⁶နောင်ကာလအခါသူတို့၌ ငါပေးသော ပဋိညာဉ်တရား ဟူမူကား၊ ငါထာဝဘုရားသည် ငါ့ပညာ တို့ကို သူတို့နှလုံးထဲမှာ ပေးသွင်းမည်။ သူတို့စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၏အပေါ်မှာ ရေးထားမည်ဟု အထက်ကမိန့်တော်မူပြီးမှ၊

¹⁷and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will never remember any more.

¹⁷တဖန်တုံ၊ သူတို့ပြစ်မှားခြင်း၊ လွန်ကျူးခြင်း အမျိုးမျိုးကို ငါမအောက်မေ့ဘဲ နေမည်ဟု လာသတည်း။

¹⁸But where there [is] remission of these, [there is] no longer a sacrifice for sin.

¹⁸ထိုအပြစ်တို့ကို လွှတ်ပြီးလျှင် နောက်တဖန် အပြစ်ဖြေသော ပူဇော်သက္ကာကို ပြုစေရာအကြောင်းမရှိ။

¹⁹Having therefore, brethren, boldness for entering into the [holy of] holies by the blood of Jesus,

¹⁹ထိုကြောင့် ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ ယေရှု၏ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာတော်တည်းဟူသော ကုလားကာအားဖြင့် ထိုသခင် ပြင်ဆင်တော်မူသော အသက်လမ်းသစ်တွင်၊

²⁰the new and living way which he has dedicated for us through the veil, that is, his flesh,

²⁰ငါတို့သည် သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနထဲသို့၊ အသွေးတော်ကိုအမှီ ပြု၍အဆီးအတားမရှိ၊ ဝင်ရသောအခွင့်ရှိသဖြင့်၎င်း၊

²¹and [having] a great priest over the house of God,

²¹ဘုရားသခင်၏အိမ်တော်ကို အုပ်စိုးသော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်းရှိသဖြင့်၎င်း၊

²²let us approach with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, sprinkled as to our hearts from a wicked conscience, and washed as to our body with pure water.

²²ငါတို့သည် သစ္စာနှင့် ပြည့်စုံသော သဘောရှိ၍၊ ဝိစိကိစ္ဆာနှင့် ကင်းသောယုံကြည်ခြင်း၌ တည်လျက်၊ စိတ်နှလုံးကို သံဝေဂတရားနျင့်လွတ်အောင်ဖြန်းခြင်း၊ ကိုယ်ကာယကိုလည်း ကြည်သာရေဖြင့် ဆေးကြောခြင်း ရှိပြီးမှ၊ အထံတော်သို့ တိုးဝင်ချဉ်းကပ်ကြကုန်အံ့။

²³Let us hold fast the confession of the hope unwavering, (for he [is] faithful who has promised;)

²³မြော်လင့်ခြင်းအကြောင်းကို ဝန်ခံ၍ မတိမ်းယိမ်းမရွေ့လျော့ဘဲ တည်ကြည်ကြကုန်အံ့ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ဂတိထားတော်မူသော သူသည် သစ္စာနှင့်ပြည့်စုံတော်မူ၏။

²⁴and let us consider one another for provoking to love and good works;

²⁴ထိုမှတပါး မေတ္တာစိတ်ရှိစေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ ကောင်းသောအကျင့်ကို ကျင့်စေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ တိုက်တွန်း နှိုးဆော်ရသောအခွင့်ကိုရှာ၍၊ အချင်းချင်းတယောက်ကို တယောက် ထောက်စာကြည့်ရှုကြကုန်အံ့။

²⁵not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom [is] with some; but encouraging [one another], and by so much the more as ye see the day drawing near.

²⁵လူအချို့တို့၏ ထုံးစံရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊ အချင်းချင်း စည်းဝေးခြင်းအမှုကို မရှောင်မလွှဲကြနှင့်။ အချင်း ချင်းတို့ကို တိုက်တွန်းနှိုးဆော်ကြလော့။ ကာလအချိန် ရောက်လုနီးသည်ကို ထောက်သဖြင့်၊ သာ၍ ကြိုးစား ကြလော့။

²⁶For where we sin wilfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains any sacrifice for sins,

²⁶အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သမ္မာတရားကို သိပြီးမှ ကိုယ်အလိုသို့လိုက်၍ပြစ်မှားပြန်လျှင်၊ နောက်တဖန် အပြစ်ဖြေသာယဇ်ကို ပူဇော်ရာအခွင့် မရှိဘဲ၊

²⁷but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and heat of fire about to devour the adversaries.

²⁷ဒဏ်စီရင်ခြင်းကိုခံရမည်ဟု ကြောက်မက်ဘွယ်သော မြော်လင့်ရသောအကြောင်း၊ ငြင်းဆန်သော သူတို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီးဘို့ရာ အမျက်တော် မီးလောင်ခြင်းကို ခံရသောအကြောင်းရှိ၏။

²⁸Any one that has disregarded Moses' law dies without mercy on [the testimony of] two or three witnesses:

²⁸မောရှေ၏ တရားကိုပယ်သော သူမည်သည် ကား၊ သက်သေခံ နှစ်ဦးသုံးဦးလျှင်၊ သနားခြင်းကို မခံရဘဲ သေရ၏။

²⁹of how much worse punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and esteemed the blood of the covenant, whereby he has been sanctified, common, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

²⁹ထိုမျှမက၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ သားတော်ကို ခြေဖြင့်ကျော်နင်းလျက်၊ မိမိကိုစင်ကြယ်စေသော ပဋိညာဉ် တရား၏ သွေးကိုအပြစ်တင်လျက်၊ ဆုကျေးဇူးကိုပေးသော ဝိညာဉ်တော်ကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုလျက်ရှိသော သူသည်၊ အဘယ်မျှလောက် ကြီးစွာသောဒက်ဖြင့် ခံထိုက်သည်ကို သင်တို့ ထင်ကြသနည်း။

³⁰For we know him that said, To me [belongs] vengeance; *I* will recompense, saith the Lord: and again, The Lord shall judge his people.

³⁰ငါသည်အပြစ်တရားကိုစီရင်ပိုင်၏။ အပြစ်နှင့်အလျောက် ငါဆပ်ပေးမည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မိမိလူတို့အဘို့ တရားစီရင်မည်ဟူ၍၎င်း မိန့်တော်မူသောသူကို ငါတို့သည် အမှန်သိကြ၏။

³¹[It is] a fearful thing falling into [the] hands of [the] living God.

³¹အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင်၏လက်တော်သို့ ကျရောက်ခြင်း အမှုသည် ကြောက်မက် ဘွယ်သောအမှုဖြစ်သတည်း။

³²But call to mind the earlier days in which, having been enlightened, ye endured much conflict of sufferings;

³²သင်တို့သည် အလင်းသို့ရောက်ပြီးသည်နောက်၊ လူများရှေ့မှာ ကဲ့ရဲ့ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းကို ခံရသဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ထိုသို့ ခံရသောသူတို့နှင့် ဆက်ဆံသော အပေါင်းအဘော်ဖြစ်သဖြင့်၎င်း၊

³³on the one hand, when ye were made a spectacle both in reproaches and afflictions; and on the other, when ye became partakers with those who were passing through them.

³³ကြီးစွာသော ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခဝေဒနာ များကို ဆိုင်ပြိုင်တိုက်လှန်ခြင်းနှင့် တွေ့ကြုံသော အထက်ကာလအချိန်ကို အောက်မေ့ကြလော့။

³⁴For ye both sympathised with prisoners and accepted with joy the plunder of your goods, knowing that ye have for yourselves a better substance, and an abiding one.

³⁴ထိုအခါသင်တို့သည် အကျဉ်းခံရသော သူတို့အတွက်ကြောင့် ကြင်နာသော စိတ်ရှိရသည်သာမက၊ ကိုယ်ပစ္စည်းဥစ္စာများကို သူတပါးလုယူဖျက်ဆီးသော်လည်း၊ ကိုယ်သုံးစရာဘို့ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌သာ၍ မြတ်သော အမြဲတည်သောဘဏ္ဍာရှိသည်ကိုသိ၍၊ လုယူဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းကို ဝမ်းမြောက်သောစိတ်နှင့် ဝန်ခံကြ၏။

³⁵Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense.

³⁵ထိုကြောင့်၊ ကြီးစွာသောအကျိုးနှင့်ယှဉ်သော သင်တို့၏ ရဲရင့်ခြင်းစိတ်ကို မစွန့်ကြနှင့်။

³⁶For ye have need of endurance in order that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.

³⁶ဘုရားသခင်၏အလိုတော်ကိုဆောင်ပြီးမှ၊ ဂတိတော်အတိုင်း အကျိုးကိုရမည်အကြောင်း သည်းခံခြင်း စိတ်ရှိရမည်။

³⁷For yet a very little while he that comes will come, and will not delay.

³⁷အဘယ်ကြောင့်နည်းဟူမူကား၊ ကြွလာလတံ့သောသူသည် မဆိုင်းမလင့်ဘဲ၊ မကြာမမြင့်မှီ ရောက် တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

³⁸But the just shall live by faith; and, if he draw back, my soul does not take pleasure in him.

³⁸ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသည် ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် အသက်ရှင်လိမ့်မည်။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ရွေ့လျော့လျှင်၊ ငါ့စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်သည် ထိုသူကို အားရနှစ်သက်ခြင်းမရှိဟု ဘုရားသခင် အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၏။

³⁹But *we* are not drawers back to perdition, but of faith to saving [the] soul.

³⁹ငါတို့မူကား၊ ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့ရောက်အံ့သောငှါ ရွေ့လျော့သော သူမဟုတ်။ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်သည် ကယ်တင် ခြင်းသို့ရောက်အံ့သောငှါ ယုံကြည်သောသူ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
