¹Woe unto the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith Jehovah.

¹ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ငါ့ထံမှာ ကျက်စားသော သိုးတို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီး၍၊ အရပ်ရပ်သို့ ကွဲပြား စေသော သိုးထိန်းတို့သည် အမင်္ဂလာရှိကြ၏။

²Therefore thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel concerning the shepherds that feed my people: Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith Jehovah.

²ထိုကြောင့်၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ငါ၏ လူတို့ကို ကျွေးမွေးရသော သိုးထိန်းတို့အမှုမှာ သင်တို့သည် ငါ၏ သိုးစုကို မကြည့်ရှု၊ မပြုစု၊ အရပ်ရပ်သို့ ကွဲပြားစေ၍ နှင်ထုတ်သောကြောင့်၊ သင်တို့ပြုသော ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်ကို သင်တို့အပေါ်မှာ ငါသက်ရောက်စေမည်ဟု ထာဝရ ဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

³And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their pastures; and they shall be fruitful and shall multiply.

³တဖန်မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ငါ၏သိုးစုကို ငါနှင်ထုတ်သော ပြည်ရှိသမျှတို့၌ ကျန်ကြွင်းသော သိုး တို့ကို ငါစုဝေး၍၊ နေရင်းသိုးခြံသို့ တဖန်ငါဆောင်ခဲ့ ဦးမည်။ သူတို့သည်လည်း၊ သားဘွား၍ များပြားကြလိမ့် မည်။

⁴And I will raise up shepherds over them, who shall feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be missing, saith Jehovah.

⁴သူတို့ကို ကျွေးမွေးသော သိုးထိန်းတို့ကို သူတို့ အပေါ်မှာ ငါခန့်ထားသဖြင့်၊ သူတို့သည် နောက်တဖန် ကြောက်ခြင်း၊ ထိတ်လန့်ခြင်းမရှိ ရကြ။ ဆုံးမခြင်းကိုလည်း မခံရကြဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁵Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, when I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, who shall reign as king, and act wisely, and shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

⁵ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သန့်ရှင်း သော အညွန့်ကို ဒါဝိဒ်အဘို့ ငါပေါက်စေသည်အတိုင်း၊ ဥာဏ်ကောင်းသောရှင်ဘုရင်တဦးသည် စိုးစံ၍၊ မြေကြီး ပေါ်မှာ တရားသဖြင့် ဖြောင့်မတ်စွာ စီရင်ရာ ကာလ သည် ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။

⁶In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell in safety; and this is his name whereby he shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness.

⁶ထိုမင်းလက်ထက်၌ ယုဒပြည်သည် ကယ်တင် ခြင်းသို့ရောက်၍၊ ဣသရေလပြည်လည်း ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာ နေရ လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုမင်းသည် ယေဟောဝါဇေဒကနုဟူသော ဘွဲ့နာမရှိလိမ့်သတည်း။

⁷Therefore behold, days are coming, saith Jehovah, that they shall no more say, [As] Jehovah liveth, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

⁷သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင် သော ထာဝရဘုရားအသက်ရှင်တော်မူသည်ဟူ၍ မကျိန်ဆိုဘဲ၊

⁸but, [As] Jehovah liveth, who brought up and who led back the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them. And they shall dwell in their own land.

⁸ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား အစဉ်အဆက်တို့ကို မြောက်ပြည်မှစ၍၊ နှင့်ထုတ်ဘူးသော ပြည်ရှိသမျှတို့မှ ပို့ဆောင်သော ထာဝရဘုရား အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသည် ဟူ၍ ကျိန်ဆိုရသော ကာလသည် နောက်တဖန် ရောက် လိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည် နေရင်းပြည်၌ တဖန် နေရကြ လိမ့်မည်။

⁹Concerning the prophets: My heart within me is broken; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome; because of Jehovah, and because of the words of his holiness.

⁹ပရောဖက်များနှင့် ဆိုင်သော စကားဟူမူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကြောင့်၎င်း၊ သန့်ရှင်းသော စကားတော် ကြောင့်၎င်း ငါ့စိတ်ပျက်လျက်ရှိ၏။ ငါ့အရိုးရှိသမျှတို့သည် လှုပ်ရှားကြ၏။ ယစ်မူးသောသူနှင့် စပျစ်ရည်နိုင်သော သူကဲ့သို့ ငါဖြစ်၏။

¹⁰For the land is full of adulterers; for because of execration the land mourneth. The pastures of the wilderness are dried up; for their course is evil, and their force is not right.

¹⁰အကြောင်းမူကား၊ မတရားသော မေထုန်၌မှီဝဲ သောသူတို့သည် တပြည်လုံး၌ အနှံ့အပြားရှိကြ၏။ ထိုသူတို့ကြောင့် တပြည်လုံးမြည်တမ်းရ၏။ တော၌ ကျက်စားရာအရပ်တို့သည် သွေ့ခြောက်ကြ၏။ ပြည်သား များလိုက်သောလမ်းသည် မဖြောင့်၊ သူတို့အစွမ်းသတ္တိ သည် တရားဘက်၌ မနေတတ်။

¹¹For both prophet and priest are profane: even in my house have I found their wickedness, saith Jehovah.

¹¹ပရောဖက်နှင့်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်နှစ်ပါးတို့သည် ဘုရားကို မရိုမသေပြုကြပြီ။ ငါ့အိမ်၌ပင် သူတို့ပြုသော အဓမ္မအမှုကို ငါတွေ့ပြီဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹²Therefore their way shall be unto them as slippery places in the darkness; they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them in the year of their visitation, saith Jehovah.

¹²ထိုကြောင့်၊ သူတို့သွားသောလမ်းသည် မှောင်မိုက်၌ ချောတတ်သော လမ်းကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ သူတို့သည် တွန်းတိုးခြင်းကို ခံရ၍ လဲကြလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သူတို့သည် ဆုံးမခြင်းကို ခံရသော ကာလ၌ သူတို့အပေါ်မှာ ဘေးဥပဒ်ကို သင့်ရောက် စေမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹³And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria: they prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

¹³ရှမာရိပြည်သား ပရောဖက်တို့၌လည်း၊ မိုက် သောသဘောကို ငါမြင်ပြီ။ သူတို့သည် ဗာလဘုရားကို မှီဝဲ၍ ပရောဖက်ပြုသဖြင့်၊ ငါ၏လူ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့ကို မှားယွင်းစေကြပြီ။

¹⁴And in the prophets of Jerusalem have I seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in falsehood, and strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that none doth return from his wickedness. They are all become unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

¹⁴ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သား ပရောဖက်တို့၌လည်း၊ စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာဘွယ်သောသဘောကို ငါမြင်ပြီ။ သူတို့သည် မတရားသော မေထုန်၌မှီဝဲလျက်၊ မုသာကိုလည်း သုံးလျက်၊ အဓမ္မပြုသောသူတို့ကို အားပေးတတ်သဖြင့်၊ အဘယ်သူမျှမိမိပြုသော အဓမ္မအမှုကို မစွန့်။ ထိုသူ ရှိသမျှတို့သည် ငါ၌ သောဒုံမြို့သားကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ယေရု ရှလင်မြို့သားတို့သည် ဂေါမောရမြို့သားကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

¹⁵Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink water of gall; for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

¹⁵ထိုကြောင့်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ပရောဖက်တို့အမှု၌ မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သူတို့ကို ဒေါနနှင့် ငါကျွေးမည်။ ဆေးခါးကိုလည်း သောက်စေမည်။ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သား ပရောဖက်တို့သည် မူလအမြစ်ဖြစ်၍၊ အဓမ္မအမှုသည် တပြည်လုံးကို နှံ့ပြား လေပြီ။

¹⁶Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they lead you to vanity; they speak a vision of their own heart, not out of the mouth of Jehovah.

¹⁶ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ပရောဖက်ပြု၍ သင်တို့အား ဟောတတ်သော ဆရာတို့၏ စကားကို နားမထောင် ကြနှင့်။ သူတို့သည် သင်တို့အား အချည်းနှီးဟောတတ် ကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်တော်ထွက်သို့မလိုက်၊ ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက် ရူပါရုံကို မြင်သည်အတိုင်း ဟောပြောတတ်ကြ၏။

¹⁷They say constantly unto them that despise me, Jehovah hath said, Ye shall have peace. And they say unto every one that walketh in the stubbornness of his heart, No evil shall come upon you.

¹⁷ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်ကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသော သူတို့အား၊ သင်တို့သည် ငြိမ်ဝပ်ခြင်းရှိကြ လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဟောတတ်ကြ၏။ မိမိတို့စိတ်နှလုံးခိုင်မာခြင်း သဘောသို့လိုက်သော သူတို့အား၊ သင်တို့သည် ဘေးဥပဒ် နှင့် မတွေ့ရကြဟု ဟောတတ်ကြ၏။

¹⁸For who hath stood in the council of Jehovah, so that he hath perceived and heard his word? who hath hearkened to his word and listened?

¹⁸ထိုသူတို့တွင် အဘယ်သူသည် ထာဝရဘုရားနှင့် တိုင်ပင်ဘက်ပြုသနည်း။ အဘယ်သူသည် အမှုတော်ကို ကြားမြင်သနည်း။ အဘယ် သူသည် နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်ကို နားထောင်၍ ကြားသနည်း။

¹⁹Behold, a tempest of Jehovah, fury is gone forth, yea, a whirling storm: it shall whirl down upon the head of the wicked.

¹⁹ထာဝရဘုရား၏ လေဘွေတော်သည် ပူသော အရှိန်နှင့်ထွက်၏။ ပြင်းစွာသော လေဘွေဖြစ်၍၊ မတရား သော သူတို့ခေါင်းပေါ်မှာ ပြင်းစွာ တိုက်လိမ့်မည်။

²⁰The anger of Jehovah shall not return, until he have executed, and until he have performed the purposes of his heart: at the end of the days ye shall understand it clearly.

²⁰ထာဝရဘုရားသည် လက်စသတ်၍၊ အကြံ အစည်တော်ကို ပြည့်စုံစေတော်မမူမှီ အမျက်တော် မငြိမ်း ရ။ နောက်ကာလ၌ သင်တို့သည် ရှင်းလင်းစွာ နားလည် ကြလိမ့်မည်။

²¹I did not send the prophets, yet they ran; I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

²¹ငါမစေလွှတ်ဘဲ ထိုပရောဖက်တို့သည် ပြေးကြ ပြီ။ ငါမမှာထားဘဲ သူတို့သည် ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက် ဟောပြောကြပြီ။

²²But if they had stood in my council, and had caused my people to hear my words, then would they have turned them from their evil way and from the wickedness of their doings.

²²ထိုသူတို့သည် ငါနှင့် တိုင်ပင်ဘက်ပြုလျှင်၊ ငါ့စကားကို ငါ၏ လူမျိုးအားဆင့်ဆို၍၊ ငါ၏လူမျိုးကို မတရားသော လမ်းမှ၎င်း၊ မကောင်း သောအကျင့်ဓလေ့ မှ၎င်း လွဲသွားစေကြပြီ။

²³Am I a God at hand, saith Jehovah, and not a God afar off?

²³ငါသည်နီးသော အရပ်၌သာ ဘုရားဖြစ် သလော။ ဝေးသော အရပ်၌လည်း ဘုရားဖြစ်သည် မဟုတ်လောဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မေးတော်မူ၏။

²⁴Can any hide himself in secret places, that I shall not see him? saith Jehovah. Do not I fill the heavens and the earth? saith Jehovah.

²⁴ငါမမြင်စေခြင်းငှါ အဘယ်သူသည် မထင်ရှား သော အရပ်၌ ပုန်းရှောင်၍ နေနိုင်သနည်းဟု ထာဝရ ဘုရားမေးတော်မူ၏။ ငါသည် ကောင်းကင်မြေကြီးကို နှံ့ပြားသည် မဟုတ်လောဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မေးတော် မူ၏။

²⁵I have heard what the prophets say, who prophesy falsehood in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

²⁵ငါသည် အိပ်မက်မြင်ပြီ၊ အိပ်မက်မြင်ပြီဟု၊ ငါ့နာမကို အမှီပြု၍၊ မုသာဖြင့် ဟောပြောသော ပရောဖက်တို့၏ စကားကို ငါကြားပြီ။

²⁶How long shall [this] be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy falsehood, and who are prophets of the deceit of their own heart?

²⁶ထိုပရောဖက်တို့သည် အဘယ်မျှကာလပတ်လုံး ဤသို့ကြံစည် ကြလိမ့်မည်နည်း။ သူတို့သည် မုသာစကား ကို ဟောပြောတတ်ကြ၏။ ကိုယ်စိတ်နှလုံး လှည့်စားသည် အတိုင်း ဟောပြောတတ်ကြ၏။

²⁷who think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour: as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

²⁷ဘိုးဘေးတို့သည် ဗာလကြောင့် ငါ့နာမကို မေ့လျော့သကဲ့သို့၊ သူတို့သည် အိမ်နီးချင်းတယောက်ကို တယောက်ပြောတတ်သော အိပ်မက်များအားဖြင့် ငါ၏ လူမျိုးသည် ငါ့နာမကို မေ့လျော့စေမည်ဟု အကြံရှိကြ သည်တကား။

²⁸The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell the dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith Jehovah.

²⁸အိပ်မက်မြင်သော ပရောဖက်သည် အိပ်မက် စကားကို ပြောပါလေစေ။ ငါ၏နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်ကို ခံရ သော သူသည် နှုတ်ကပတ်စကားတော်ကို မှန်ကန်စွာ ဟောပြောပါလေစေ။ အဖျင်းသည်စပါးနှင့် အဘယ်သို့ ဆိုင်သနည်းဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²⁹Is not my word like a fire, saith Jehovah; and like a hammer [that] breaketh the rock in pieces?

²⁹ငါ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် မီးကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ကျောက်ကို ထုချေသောသံတူကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ်သည်မဟုတ် လောဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မေးတော်မူ၏။

³⁰Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith Jehovah, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

³⁰သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါ့စကားတော်ကို အိမ်နီးချင်း တယောက်မှတယောက်ခိုးသော ပရောဖက်တို့ကို ငါသည် ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ပြုမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

³¹Behold, I am against the prophets, saith Jehovah, that use their tongues, and say, He hath said.

³¹မိမိတို့အလိုအလျောက် ဟောပြောလျက်နှင့် အမိန့်တော်ရှိသည်ဟုဆိုသော ပရောဖက်တို့ကို ငါသည် ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ပြုမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

³²Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith Jehovah, and that tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies and by their boasting; and I have not sent them, nor commanded them; and they profit not this people at all, saith Jehovah.

³²မှားသာအိပ်မက်ကိုဟောပြော၍၊ မုသာစကား နှင့် အချည်းနှီးစကားအားဖြင့် ငါ၏လူမျိုးကိုမှားယွင်း စေသော ပရောဖက်တို့ကို ငါသည် ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ပြုမည်။ သူတို့ကို ငါမစေလွှတ်၊ မမှာထားသောကြောင့်၊ ဤလူမျိုး သည် ကျေးဇူးမရှိဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

³³And when this people, or a prophet, or a priest, ask thee, saying, What is the burden of Jehovah? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even cast you off, saith Jehovah.

³³ဤလူမျိုးတွင် ဆင်းရဲသားဖြစ်စေ၊ ပရောဖက် ဖြစ်စေ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဖြစ်စေ၊ တစုံတယောက်က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟု သင့်ကို မေးလျှင်၊ ပြန်ပြောရမည်မှာ၊ သင်တို့နှင့်ဆိုင်သော ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ဟူမူကား၊ သင်တို့ကို ငါစွန့်ပစ်မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

³⁴And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of Jehovah, I will even punish that man and his house.

³⁴ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ရှိသည်ဟု ပြော ဆိုသော ပရောဖက်၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်၊ ပြည်သူပြည်သား ကို၎င်း၊ ထိုသူ၏ အိမ်သူအိမ်သားတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ငါသည် ဒဏ်ပေးမည်။

³⁵Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother: What hath Jehovah answered? and, What hath Jehovah spoken?

³⁵သင်တို့က၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အဘယ်သို့ ပြန်ပြောတော်မူသနည်းဟူ၍၎င်း၊ အဘယ်သို့ မိန့်တော်မူသနည်းဟူ၍၎င်း၊ အိမ်နီးချင်း၊ ညီအစ်ကို ချင်း တယောက်ကိုတယောက် မေးမြန်းရမည်။

³⁶And the burden of Jehovah shall ye mention no more; for every man's own word shall be his burden: for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of Jehovah of hosts, our God.

³⁶ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ရှိသည်ဟူ၍ နောက်တဖန် မဆိုရ။ လူတိုင်းမိမိစကားမှတပါး အခြား သောဗျာဒိတ်တော်မရှိရ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သင်တို့သည် အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသောဘုရား၊ ငါတို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် တည်းဟူသော ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ စကားတော်ကို ဖျက်ကြပြီ။

³⁷Thus shalt thou say to the prophet: What hath Jehovah answered thee? and, What hath Jehovah spoken?

³⁷ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင့်အား အဘယ်သို့ ပြန်ပြောတော်မူသနည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အဘယ်သို့ မိန့်တော်မူသနည်းဟု ပရောဖက်ကို မေးလော့။

³⁸But since ye say, The burden of Jehovah, therefore thus saith Jehovah: Because ye say this word, The burden of Jehovah, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of Jehovah;

³⁸သင်တို့က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ဟု ဆိုကြသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ရှိသည်ဟု မဆိုရမည် အကြောင်း၊ ငါ ပညတ်သော်လည်း၊ သင်တို့သည် ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ရှိသည်ဟူသော စကားကို သုံးကြ သောကြောင့်၊

³⁹therefore behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off, far from my face, and the city that I gave to you and to your fathers.

³⁹ငါသည် သင်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ သင်တို့နှင့် ဘိုးဘေးတို့ အား ငါပေးသော မြို့ကို၎င်း၊ ငါ့ထံမှ အကုန်အစင် ကျုံး၍ ပစ်လိုက်မည်။

⁴⁰And I will bring everlasting reproach upon you, and everlasting shame, that shall not be forgotten.

⁴⁰အစဉ်အမြဲ မမေ့လျော့နိုင်သော ထာဝရကဲ့ရဲ့ ခြင်းနှင့် အရှက်ကွဲခြင်းကို သင်တို့အပေါ်မှာ သက်ရောက် စေမည်။
