¹And Job answered and said,

¹ယောဘပြန်၍ မြွက်ဆိုသည်ကား၊

²Truly ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you!

²သင်တို့သာလျှင် လူဖြစ်၍၊ သင်တို့နှင့်အတူ ဥာဏ်ပညာသေလိမ့်မည်ဟု ယုံမှားစရာမရှိရ။

³I also have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you; and who knoweth not such things as these?

³သို့သော်လည်း ငါသည် သင်တို့ကဲ့သို့ဥာဏ်ရှိ၏။ သင်တို့ထက် ငါယုတ်ညံ့သည်မဟုတ်။ ဤကဲ့သို့သော အရာများကို အဘယ်သူသည် နားမလည်းဘဲနေသနည်း။

⁴I am to be one that is a derision to his friend, I who call upon +God, and whom he will answer: a derision is the just upright [man].

⁴ငါသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ခံရအံ့သောငှါဆုတောင်းပဌနာပြုစဉ်တွင်၊ အိမ်နီးချင်း ပြက်ယယ်ပြုသည်ကို ခံရသောသူဖြစ်၏။ အပြစ်မရှိ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသည် ပြက်ယယ်ပြုခြင်းကို ခံရပါသည် တကား။

⁵He that is ready to stumble with the foot is a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

⁵ချော်လဲလုသောသူကို ပစ်လိုက်သောမီးခွက် ကဲ့သို့ ကောင်းစားသောသူသည် မှတ်တတ်၏။

⁶The tents of desolators are in peace, and they that provoke ùGod are secure; into whose hand +God bringeth.

⁶ထားပြလုပ်သောသူတို့၏နေရာသည် ကောင်း စားတတ်၏။ ဘုရားသခင်၏ အာဏာတော်ကိုဆန်သော သူတို့သည် လုံခြုံစွာနေ၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်ပေးတော်မူသော စည်းစိမ်ကို ခံစားတတ်ကြ၏။

⁷But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowl of the heavens, and they shall tell thee;

⁷သားမျိုးနှင့်မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ငှက်တို့ကို မေးမြန်း လော့။ သူတို့သည် ဟောပြောသွန်သင်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁸Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee; and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.

⁸မြေကြီးနှင့် ပင်လယ်ငါးတို့ကို မေးမြန်းလော့။ သူတို့သည် ပြသ၍ ဥပဒေသပေးကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁹Who knoweth not in all these, that the hand of Jehovah hath wrought this?

⁹ဤအမှုတို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရားစီရင်တော်မူ ကြောင်းကို၊ ထိုတိရစ္ဆာန်တကောင်မျှ မသိဘဲနေသလော။

¹⁰In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the spirit of all flesh of man.

¹⁰အသက်ရှင်သောသတ္တဝါအပေါင်းတို့၏ ဇိဝ အသက်နှင့် လူသတ္တဝါခပ်သိမ်းတို့၏ ထွက်သက်ဝင်သက် သည် ဘုရားသခင့်လက်တော်၌ ရှိ၏။

¹¹Doth not the ear try words, as the palate tasteth food?

¹¹ခံတွင်းသည်အစာကိုမြည်းစမ်းသကဲ့သို့၊ နားသည် စကားကို စုံစမ်းသည် မဟုတ်လော။

¹²With the aged is wisdom, and in length of days understanding.

¹²အသက်အရွယ်ကြီးသော သူတို့သည် ဥာဏ်ပညာနှင့် ပြည့်စုံကြ၏။

¹³With him is wisdom and might; he hath counsel and understanding.

¹³ဘုရားသခင်မူကား၊ ဥာဏ်သတ္တိ၊ အစွမ်းသတ္တိနှင့် ပြည့်စုံတော်မူ၏။ ပညာသတ္တိကို ပေးနိုင်သော အခွင့်ရှိတော်မူ၏။

¹⁴Behold, he breaketh down, and it is not built again; he shutteth up a man, and there is no opening.

¹⁴ဖြိုဖျက်တော်မူလျှင် အဘယ်သူမျှ တည်ဆောက်ရသော အခွင့်မရှိ။ လူကို ချုပ်ထားသော်မူလျှင် အဘယ်သူမျှ လွှတ်ရသောအခွင့်မရှိ။

¹⁵Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up; and he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.

¹⁵ရေများကို ဆီးတားပိတ်ပင်တော်မူလျှင် ခန်းခြောက်ရ၏။ တဖန် လွှတ်တော်မူ၍ မြေကြီးကို လွှမ်းမိုး ကြ၏။

¹⁶With him is strength and effectual knowledge; the deceived and the deceiver are his.

¹⁶တန်ခိုးတော်၊ ဥာဏ်တော်နှင့်ပြည့်စုံ၍၊ မှားသောသူနှင့် မှားစေသောသူတို့ကို ပိုင်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁷He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and judges maketh he fools;

¹⁷တိုင်ပင်မှူးမတ်တို့ကို ဘမ်းဆီးသိမ်းသွားတော်မူ၏။ တရားသူကြီးတို့ကို ရူးသွပ်စေတော်မူ၏။

¹⁸He weakeneth the government of kings, and bindeth their loins with a fetter;

¹⁸ရှင်ဘုရင်တို့ကို အရာမှချ၍ ခါးကြိုးနှင့် ချည်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁹He leadeth priests away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty;

¹⁹ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့ကို ဘမ်းဆီးသိမ်းသွား၍၊ သူရဲတို့ကိုလည်း ရှုံးစေတော်မူ၏။

²⁰He depriveth of speech the trusty, and taketh away the judgment of the elders;

²⁰နှုတ်သတ္တိရှိသော သူတို့ကို စကားအစေ၍၊ အသက်ကြီးသော သူတို့မှပညာကို နှုတ်တော်မူ၏။

²¹He poureth contempt upon nobles, and slackeneth the girdle of the mighty;

²¹မင်းသားတို့ကို အရှက်ခွဲ၍၊ အားကြီးသော သူတို့ကို ရှုတ်ချတော်မူ၏။

²²He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out into light the shadow of death;

²²မှောင်မိုက်ထဲ၌ နက်နဲသောအရာတို့ကို ထင်ရှားစေ၍၊ သေခြင်းအရိပ်ကိုအလင်းထဲသို့ ထုတ်ဘော်တော် မူ၏။

²³He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them; he spreadeth out the nations, and bringeth them in;

²³တိုင်းနိုင်ငံတို့ကိုချီးမြှောက်၍ တဖန်ဖျက်ဆီးတော်မူ၏။ တိုင်းနိုင်ငံတို့ကို ကျယ်စေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း ကျဉ်းစေ ခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ ပြုတော်မူ၏။

²⁴He taketh away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a pathless waste.

²⁴မြေသားတို့တွင် အကြီးလုပ်သောသူတို့မှ ဥာဏ်ကိုနှုတ်၍၊ လမ်းမရှိသော တော၌လှည့်လည်စေတော် မူ၏။

²⁵They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunkard.

²⁵သူတို့သည်အလင်းမရှိ။ မှောင်မိုက်၌ စမ်းသပ်လျက်သွားရကြ၏။ ယစ်မူးသောသူကဲ့သို့ တိမ်းယိမ်းလျက် သွားစေတော်မူ၏။
