¹And Jehovah answered Job out of the whirlwind and said,

¹ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ယောဘစကားကို လှန်ပြန်၍၊ မိုဃ်းသက်မုန်တိုင်းထဲက မိန့်တော်မူသည် ကား၊

²Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

²ပညာမရှိဘဲစကားပြောကာမျှနှင့် ငါ့အကြံကို မိုက်စေသော ဤ သူကား အဘယ်သူနည်း။

³Gird up now thy loins like a man; and I will demand of thee, and inform thou me.

³လူယောက်ျားကဲ့သို့ သင့်ခါးကို စီးလော့။ ငါမေးမြန်းသော ပြဿနာတို့ကို ဖြေလော့။

⁴Where wast thou when I founded the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding.

⁴မြေကြီးအမြစ်ကို ငါတည်သောအခါ၊ သင်သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်း။ နားလည်လျှင် ဘော်ပြလော့။

⁵Who set the measures thereof -- if thou knowest? or who stretched a line upon it?

⁵မြေကြီးအတိုင်းအရှည်ပမာဏကို အဘယ်သူ စီရင်သနည်း။ နားလည်လျှင်ပြောလော့။ မျဉ်းကြိုးကို အဘယ်သူတန်း၍ချသနည်း။

⁶Whereupon were the foundations thereof sunken? or who laid its corner-stone,

⁶မြေကြီးတိုက်မြစ်ကို အဘယ်အရပ်၌ စွဲစေ သနည်း။

⁷When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

⁷နံနက်ကြယ်တို့သည် တညီတညွတ်တည်း သီချင်းဆို၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်သားအပေါင်းတို့သည် ဝမ်း မြောက်သဖြင့်၊ ကြွေးကြော်ကြစဉ်၊ တိုက်ထောင့်အထွဋ် ကျောက်ကို အဘယ်သူတင်ထားသနည်း။

⁸And who shut up the sea with doors, when it burst forth, issuing out of the womb?

⁸သမုဒ္ဒရာသည်အမိဝမ်းထဲက ဘွား၍ ထွက်လာ သောအခါ၊ အဘယ်သူသည် တံခါးပိတ်နှင့် ပိတ်ထား သနည်း။

⁹When I made the cloud its garment, and thick darkness a swaddling band for it;

⁹သမုဒ္ဒရာကို မိုဃ်းတိမ်နှင့် ငါခြုံ၍ ထူထပ်သော မှောင်မိုက်နှင့် ထုပ်ရစ်သည်ကာလ၌၎င်း၊

¹⁰When I cut out for it my boundary, and set bars and doors,

¹⁰သင်သည်ဤအရပ်တိုင်အောင်လာရ၏။

¹¹And said, Hitherto shalt thou come and no further, and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

¹¹တိုး၍မလွန်ရ၊ ဤအရပ်၌သင်၏ ထောင်လွှားသောလှိုင်းတံပိုးဆုံးရ၏ဟု ပညက်လျက်၊ သမုဒ္ဒရာအပိုင်း အခြားကို ငါစီရင်၍၊ တံခါးပိတ်နှင့်ကန့်လန့်ကျင်တို့ကို ထားသည်ကာလ၌၎င်း၊ အဘယ်သူသည် ဝိုင်း၍ ကူညီ သနည်း။

¹²Hast thou since thy days commanded the morning? hast thou caused the dawn to know its place,

¹²သင်သည်တသက်လုံးတွင် တခါမျှ နံနက်ကို မှာထားဘူးသလော။ မိုဃ်းသောက်လင်းကို နေရာချဘူး သလော။

¹³That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and the wicked might be shaken out of it?

¹³နံနက်အလင်းသည် မြေကြီးစွန်းကိုကိုင်လျက်၊ လူဆိုးတို့ကိုခါ၍ ပစ်စေခြင်းငှါ စီရင်ဘူးသလော။

¹⁴It is changed like the signet-clay; and [all things] stand forth as in a garment:

¹⁴မြေကြီးသည် တံဆိပ်ခတ်သကဲ့သို့ပုံပေါ်၍ အဝတ်တန်ဆာဆင်သကဲ့သို့ ရှိ၏။

¹⁵And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the uplifted arm is broken.

¹⁵လူဆိုးတို့၏ အလင်းသည်ကွယ်၍ ချီကြွသော လက်လည်း ကျိုးတတ်၏။

¹⁶Hast thou entered as far as the springs of the sea? and hast thou walked in the recesses of the deep?

¹⁶သင်သည်သမုဒ္ဒရာ စမ်းရေပေါက်ထဲသို့ ဝင်ဘူးသလော။ နက်နဲသော အောက်ဆုံးအရပ်၌ လှည့်လည်ဘူး သလော။

¹⁷Have the gates of death been revealed unto thee? and hast thou seen the gates of the shadow of death?

¹⁷သေခြင်းတံခါးတို့ကို သင့်အားဖွင့်ဘူးသလော။ သေမင်းအရိပ်ထဲသို့ဝင်သော လမ်းဝတို့ကို မြင်ဘူး သလော။

¹⁸Hath thine understanding compassed the breadths of the earth? Declare if thou knowest it all.

¹⁸မြေကြီးမျက်နှာတပြင်လုံးကို ကြည့်ရှုဘူး သလော။ အလုံးစုံကို သိမြင်လျှင်ဘော်ပြလော့။

¹⁹Where is the way to where light dwelleth? and the darkness, where is its place,

¹⁹အလင်းနေရာသို့ အဘယ်မည်သော လမ်းဖြင့် ရောက်ရသနည်း။ မှောင်မိုက်နေရာလည်း အဘယ်မှာ ရှိသနည်း။

²⁰That thou shouldest take it to its bound, and that thou shouldest know the paths to its house?

²⁰အကယ်စင်စစ်သင်သည် အလင်းအမိုက်အပိုင်း အခြားသို့ ငါတို့ ကိုပို့ဆောင်နိုင်၏။ သူတို့နေရာအိမ်သို့ ရောက်သောလမ်းတို့ကို သိလိမ့်မည်။

²¹Thou knowest, for thou wast then born, and the number of thy days is great!

²¹သင်သည်ရှေးကာလ၌ ဘွားမြင်၍ အလွန် အသက်ကြီးသောကြောင့် သိလိမ့်မည်။

²²Hast thou entered into the storehouses of the snow, and hast thou seen the treasuries of the hail,

²²သင်သည် မိုဃ်းပွင့်ဘဏ္ဍာတိုက်ထဲသို့ ဝင်ဘူး သလော။

²³Which I have reserved for the time of distress, for the day of battle and war?

²³ဘေးရောက်ရာအချိန်ကာလနှင့် စစ်ပြိုင်၍ တိုက်ရာအချိန်ကာလဘို့၊ ငါသိုထားသော မိုဃ်းသီးဘဏ္ဍာ များကို မြင်ဘူးသလော။

²⁴By what way is the light parted, [and] the east wind scattered upon the earth?

²⁴အလင်းသည် အဘယ်သို့သောလမ်းဖြင့် နှံ့ပြားသနည်း။ အရှေ့လေသည်မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာ အဘယ်ကြောင့် လွင့်သနည်း။

²⁵Who hath divided a channel for the rain-flood, and a way for the thunder's flash;

²⁵လူမရှိသောမြေနှင့် လူမနေသောတော၌ မိုဃ်း ရွာစေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊

²⁶To cause it to rain on the earth, where no one is; on the wilderness wherein there is not a man;

²⁶လွတ်လပ်သောလွင်ပြင်ကို ရေနှင့်ဝစေ၍၊ နုသောမြက်ပင်အညှောက်ကို ထွက်စေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊

²⁷To satisfy the desolate and waste [ground], and to cause the sprout of the grass to spring forth?

²⁷လျှံသောမိုဃ်းရေစီးရာလမ်း၊ မိုဃ်းကြိုးနှင့် ဆိုင်သော လျှပ်စစ်ပြက်ရာလမ်းကို အဘယ်သူဖွင့်သနည်း။

²⁸Hath the rain a father? or who begetteth the drops of dew?

²⁸မိုဃ်းရေ၏အဘကား အဘယ်သူနည်း။ နှင်း ပေါက်တို့ကို အဘယ်သူဖြစ်ဘွားစေသနည်း။

²⁹Out of whose womb cometh the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who bringeth it forth?

²⁹ရေခဲသည်အဘယ်သူ၏ ဝမ်းထဲက ထွက်လာ သနည်း။ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်နှင်းခဲကို အဘယ်သူသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေပေးသနည်း။

³⁰When the waters lie hidden as in stone, and the face of the deep holdeth fast together.

³⁰ရေသည် ကျောက်ခဲကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍ ပင်လယ် မျက်နှာတင်းမာလျက် ရှိ၏။

³¹Canst thou fasten the bands of the Pleiades, or loosen the cords of Orion?

³¹သင်သည် ခိမကြယ်စု၏သာယာစွာ ပြုပြင်ခြင်း ကို ချုပ်တည်းနိုင်သလော။ ကသိလကြယ်၏ ချည်နှောင် ခြင်းကို ဖြည်နိုင်သလော။

³²Dost thou bring forth the constellations each in its season? or dost thou guide the Bear with her sons?

³²မာဇရုတ်ကြယ်တို့ကို အချိန်ရောက်လျှင် ထုတ် ဘော်နိုင်သလော။ အာရှကြယ်နှင့်သူ၏သားတို့ကို ပဲ့ပြင် နိုင်သလော။

³³Knowest thou the ordinances of the heavens? dost thou determine their rule over the earth?

³³မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်တရားတို့ကို နားလည် သလော။ ထိုတရားတို့သည် မြေကြီးကို အုပ်စိုးမည် အကြောင်း အခွင့်ပေးနိုင်သလော။

³⁴Dost thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that floods of waters may cover thee?

³⁴များစွာသော မိုဃ်းရေသည် သင့်ကို လွှမ်းမိုး စေခြင်းငှါ မိုဃ်းတိမ်တို့ကို အသံလွှင့်နိုင်သလော။

³⁵Dost thou send forth lightnings that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?

³⁵လျှပ်စစ်တို့ကို လွှတ်နိုင်သလော။ သူတို့က ကျွန်တော်တို့ရှိပါ၏ဟု သင့်ကိုလျှောက်လျက် သွားကြ လိမ့်မည်လော။

³⁶Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the mind?

³⁶ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာထဲသို့ ပညာကို အဘယ်သူသွင်း သနည်း။ နားလည်နိုင်သောဥာဏ်ကို အဘယ်သူပေး သနည်း။ ပညာရှိ၍ မိုဃ်းတိမ်တို့ကို အဘယ်သူရေတွက် နိုင်သနည်း။

³⁷Who numbereth the clouds with wisdom? or who poureth out the bottles of the heavens,

³⁷မြေမှုန့်သည် လုံးထွေး၍ မြေစိုင်တို့သည် ကပ်လျက်နေသောအခါ၊

³⁸When the dust runneth as into a molten mass, and the clods cleave fast together?

³⁸မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်၏ရေဘူးတို့ကို အဘယ်သူသွန်းချသနည်း။

³⁹Dost thou hunt the prey for the lioness, and dost thou satisfy the appetite of the young lions,

³⁹သင်သည်ခြင်္သေ့မအဘို့ စားစရာအကောင်ကို လိုက်ရှာနိုင်သလော။

⁴⁰When they crouch in [their] dens, [and] abide in the thicket to lie in wait?

⁴⁰ခြင်္သေ့ပျိုတို့သည် ခိုလှုံရာ၌ဝပ်၍၊ ချုံဖုတ် အောက်၌ ချောင်းကြည့်လျက်နေသောအခါ၊ သူတို့ကို ဝစွာကျွေးနိုင်သလော။

⁴¹Who provideth for the raven his food, when his young ones cry unto ùGod, [and] they wander for lack of meat?

⁴¹ကျီးအသငယ်တို့သည် စားစရာမရှိကြောင့်လှည့်လည်၍ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုအော်ဟစ်သောအခါ၊ စားစရာကိုအဘယ်သူပေးသနည်း။
