1And when they draw near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sends two of his disciples,
1ယေရုရှလင်မြို့နှင့် အနီးသံလွင်တောင်ခြေရင်း၌ ဗက်သနိရွာသို့ရောက်ကြသေအခါ တပည့်တော်နှစ် ယောက်တို့ကို စေလွှတ်တောမမူ၍၊
2and says to them, Go into the village which is over against you, and immediately on entering into it ye will find a colt tied, upon which no [child] of man has ever sat: loose it and lead it [here].
2သင်တို့ရှေ့၌ ရှိသောရွာသို့သွားကြ။ ထိုရွာသို့ရောက်လျှင် အဘယ်သူမျှမစီးဘူသော မြည်းကလေး ချည်နှောင်လျက်ရှိသည်ကို သင်တို့သည် ချက်ခြင်းတွေ့လိမ့်မည်။ မြည်းကြိုးကို ဖြည်၍ဆောင်ခံကြ။
3And if any one say to you, Why do ye this? say, The Lord has need of it; and straightway he sends it hither.
3သူတပါးက၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤသို့ပြုသနည်းဟု သင်တို့အားဆိုလျှင်၊ သခင်အလိုရှိသည်ဟု ပြန်ပြော ကြလော့။ ထိုသို့ပြောလျှင် သူတို့သည် ချက်ခြင်းပေးလိုက်မည်ဟု မှာထားတော်မူ၏။
4And they departed, and found a colt bound to the door without at the crossway, and they loose him.
4တပည့်တော်တို့သည်သွား၍ လမ်း၌တံခါးပြင်မှာ ချည်ထားသောမြည်းကလေးကို တွေ့ပြီးလျှင် မြည်း ကြိုးကို ဖြည်ကြ၏။
5And some of those who stood there said to them, What are ye doing, loosing the colt?
5ထိုအရပ်၌ ရပ်နေသောလူအချို့တို့က၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် မြည်းကြိုးကိုဖြည်သနည်းဟုဆိုလျှင်၊
6And they said to them as Jesus had commanded. And they let them [do it].
6ယေရှုမှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ပြန်ပြောပြီးမှ ထိုသူတို့သည် အခွင့်ပေးကြ၏။
7And they led the colt to Jesus, and cast their clothes upon it, and he sat on it;
7ယေရှုထံတော်သို့ မြည်းကလေးကိုဆောင်ခဲ့၍ မိမိတို့အဝတ်ကို မြည်းကျောပေါ်မှာ တင်ကြပြီးလျှင် ကိုယ်တော်သည် စီးတော်မူ၏။
8and many strewed their clothes on the way, and others cut down branches from the trees [and went on strewing them on the way].
8လူအများတို့သည် မိမိတို့အဝတ်ကိုလမ်း၌ ခင်းကြ၏။ အချို့တို့သည် သစ်ကိုင်းသစ်ခတ်များကို ခုတ်၍ လမ်း၌ ခင်းကြ၏။
9And those going on before and those following cried out, Hosanna! blessed [be] he that comes in [the] Lord's name.
9ရှေ့နောက်လိုက်သွားသောသူတို့က၊ ဟောရှဏ္ဏဖြစ်စေသတည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏အခွင့်နှင့် ကြွတော်မူ သောသူသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိစေသတည်း။
10Blessed [be] the coming kingdom of our father David. Hosanna in the highest!
10ထာဝရဘုရား၏အခွင့်နှင့် ယခုတည်လုသော ငါတို့အဘဒါဝိဒ်၏နိုင်ငံတော်သည် မင်္ဂလာရှိစေ သတည်း။ ကောင်းကင်ဘဝဂ်ဝယ် ဟောရှဏ္ဏဖြစ်စေသတည်းဟု ကြွေးကြော်ကြ၏။
11And he entered into Jerusalem and into the temple; and having looked round on all things, the hour being already late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.
11ယေရှုသည် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့၎င်း၊ ဗိမာန်တော်သို့၎င်း ဝင်၍အရာရာတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုတော်မူပြီးလျှင် မိုဃ်းချုပ်သောကြောင့် တကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးသောသူတို့နှင့်တကွ ဗေသနိရွာသို့ ထွက်ကြွတော်မူ၏။
12And on the morrow, when they were gone out of Bethany, he hungered.
12နက်ဖြန်နေ့၌ ဗေသနိရွာမှပြန်ကြစဉ်တွင် ဆာမွတ်တော်မူ၏။
13And seeing from afar off a fig-tree which had leaves, he came, if perhaps he might find something on it. And having come up to it he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the time of figs.
13အရွက်နှင့်ပြည့်စုံသော သင်္ဘောသဖန်းပင်ကိုအဝေးကမြင်လျှင်။ သင်္ဘောသဖန်းသီးဆွတ်ချိန်ကာလ မ ရောက်သေးသောကြောင့်၊ ထိုအပင်၌ အသီးကိုတွေ့ကောင်းတွေ့လိမ့်မည်ဟု ကြွသွား၍ရောက်သောအခါ၊ အရွက်ကိုသာ တွေ့တော်မူသည်ရှိသော်၊
14And answering he said to it, Let no one eat fruit of thee any more for ever. And his disciples heard [it].
14ယခုမှစ၍အစဉ်မပြတ် သင်၏အသီးကို အဘယ်သူမျှမစားစေနှင့်မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ တပည့်တော် တို့သည် လည်း ကြားကြ၏။
15And they come to Jerusalem, and entering into the temple, he began to cast out those who sold and who bought in the temple, and he overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of the dove-sellers,
15ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ ယေရှုသည် ဗိမာန်တော်သို့ ဝင်တော်မူပြီးလျှင်၊ ဗိမာန်တော်၌ ရောင်းဝယ်သောသူတို့ကို နှင်ထုတ်၍ ပွဲစားခုံတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ချိုးငှက်ရောင်းသောသူတို့၏ ထိုင်ရာကို၎င်း တွန်းလှဲ တော်မူ၍၊
16and suffered not that any one should carry any package through the temple.
16ဗိမာန်တော်ထဲ၌ အဆောက်အဦးကို အဘယ်သူမျှ မဆောင်မရွက်ရမည်အကြောင်း မြစ်တားတော် မူလျက်၊
17And he taught saying to them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but *ye* have made it a den of robbers.
17ငါ့အိမ်ကို လူအမျိုးမျိုး ဆုတောင်းရာအိမ်ဟူ၍ ခေါ်ဝေါ်ကြလတံ့ဟု ကျမ်းစာ၌လာသည်မဟုတ်လော။ သို့သော်လည်း သင်တို့သည် ထိုအိမ်ကို ထားပြတွင်းဖြစ်စေကြပြီးတကားဟူ၍ ဆုံးမဩဝါဒပေးတော်မူ၏။
18And the chief priests and the scribes heard [it], and they sought how they might destroy him; for they feared him, because all the crowd were astonished at his doctrine.
18ကျမ်းပြုဆရာနှင့် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အကြီးတို့သည်ကြားလျှင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို သတ်ရသောအခွင့်ကို ရှာကြံကြ၏။ လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ဆုံးမဩဝါဒပေးတော်မူခြင်းကို အံ့ဩမိန်းမောသောကြောင့်၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ကြ၏။
19And when it was evening he went forth without the city.
19ညအချိန်ရောက်သောအခါ မြို့ပြင်သို့ထွက်တော်မူ၏။
20And passing by early in the morning they saw the fig-tree dried up from the roots.
20နံနက်အချိန်တွင် လမ်း၌သွားကြစဉ်၊ သင်္ဘောသဖန်းပင်သည် အမြစ်မှစ၍သွေ့ခြောက်လျက်ရှိသည်ကို မြင်ကြ၏။
21And Peter, remembering [what Jesus had said], says to him, Rabbi, see, the fig-tree which thou cursedst is dried up.
21ပေတရုသည် သတိရလျှင်၊ အရှင်ဘုရားကြည့်တော်မူပါ။ ကျိန်းတော်မူသော သင်္ဘောသဖန်းပင်သည် သွေ့ခြောက်ပါပြီတကားဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
22And Jesus answering says to them, Have faith in God.
22ယေရှုကလည်း၊ သင်တို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်ကို ယုံကြည်ခြင်းရှိကြလော့။
23Verily I say to you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou taken away and cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that what he says takes place, whatever he shall say shall come to pass for him.
23ငါအမှန်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ အကြင်သူသည် ယုံမှားသောစိတ်နှင့်ကင်း၍ မိမိဆိုသည်အတိုင်းဖြစ်မည်ဟု ယုံ ကြည်လျက်။ ထိုတောင်ကို နေရာမှရွေ့လော့၊ ပင်လယ်၌ ကျလော့ဟုဆိုလျှင်၊ ထိုသူဆိုသည်အတိုင်း၊ ဖြစ်လိမ့် မည်။
24For this reason I say to you, All things whatsoever ye pray for and ask, believe that ye receive it, and it shall come to pass for you.
24ထိုကြောင့်ငါဆိုသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့သည် ကျေးဇူးကိုရမည်ဟု ယုံကြည်သောစိတ်နှင့် ဆုတောင်းသမျှ တို့ကို ရကြလိမ့်မည်။
25And when ye stand praying, forgive if ye have anything against any one, that your Father also who is in the heavens may forgive you your offences.
25သင်တို့သည် ဆုတောင်းသောအခါ သူတပါး၌အပြစ်တင်ခွင့်ရှိလျှင်၊ သူ့အပြစ်ကိုလွှတ်ကြလော့။ လွှတ်လျှင် ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူသော သင်တို့အဘသည် သင်တို့၏အပြစ်ကို လွှတ်တော်မူမည်။
26But if *ye* do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in the heavens forgive your offences.
26သင်တို့သည် သူ့အပြစ်ကို မလွှတ်လျှင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူသောသင်တို့အဘသည် သင်တို့၏ အပြစ်ကို လွှတ်တော်မမူဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
27And they come again to Jerusalem. And as he walked about in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders come to him,
27ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ တဖန်ရောက်ကြပြီးမှ ဗိမာန်တော်တွင် စင်္ကြံသွားတော်မူစဉ်၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အကြီး၊ ကျမ်းပြုဆရာ၊ လူအကြီးအကဲတို့သည် အထံတော်သို့ချဉ်းကပ်၍၊
28and they say to him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority, that thou shouldest do these things?
28ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဤအမှုများကို အဘယ်အခွင့်နှင့်ပြုသနည်း။ ဤသို့ပြုသောအခွင့်ကို အဘယ်သူပေး သနည်းဟု မေးလျှောက်ကြသော်၊
29And Jesus answering said to them, *I* also will ask you one thing, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things:
29ယေရှုက၊ ငါသည်တစုံတခုကိုမေးဦးမည်။ သင်တို့ဖြေကြလော့။ ဖြေလျှင်ဤအမှုများကို အဘယ်အခွင့် နှင့် ငါပြုသည်ကို ငါပြောမည်။
30The baptism of John, was it of heaven, or of men? answer me.
30ယောဟန်၏ ဗတ္တိဇံတရားသည် ဘုရားကဖြစ်သလော။ လူကဖြစ်သလော။ ဤအမေးကို ဖြေကြလော့ ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
31And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we should say, Of heaven, he will say, Why [then] have ye not believed him?
31ထိုသူတို့သည် အချင်းချင်းဆင်ခြင်ကြ၍၊ ဘုရားကဖြစ်သည်ဟု ငါတို့ဖြေလျှင်၊ သင်တို့သည်ယောဟန် ကို အဘယ်ကြောင့်မယုံသနည်းဟု သူမေးလေဦးမည်။
32but should we say, Of men -- they feared the people; for all held of John that he was truly a prophet.
32လူကဖြစ်သည်ဟု ငါတို့ဖြေလျှင်၊ လူများကိုကြောက်ရ၏။ ယောဟန်သည် ပရောဖက် အမှန်ဖြစ်သည် ကို လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အယူရှိကြ၏ဟု အချင်းချင်းဆင်ခြင်ပြီးမှ၊
33And they answering say to Jesus, We do not know. And Jesus [answering] says to them, Neither do *I* tell you by what authority I do these things.
33အကျွန်ုပ်တို့မသိပါဟု ယေရှုအားပြန်ပြောကြ၏။ ယေရှုကလည်း၊ ထိုအတူ ဤအမှုများကို အဘယ် အခွင့်နှင့် ငါပြုသည်ကို ငါမပြောဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
