¹{To the chief Musician. Upon Sheminith. A Psalm of David.} Save, Jehovah, for the godly man is gone; for the faithful have failed from among the children of men.

¹အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကယ်တင်တော်မူပါ။ သူတော် ကောင်းမျိုးသည် ပြတ်၍ သစ္စာရှိသောလူမျိုးသည် လူသားတို့တွင် ကွယ်ပျောက်ပါ၏။

²They speak falsehood every one with his neighbour: [with] flattering lip, with a double heart, do they speak.

²အိမ်နီးချင်းတို့သည် တဦးကိုတဦး မုသာသုံး၍ ချော့မော့သော နှုတ်ခမ်း၊ နှစ်ခွသော စိတ်နှင့်ပြောတတ် ကြပါ၏။

³Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaketh proud things,

³ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ်လျှာအားဖြင့် နိုင်မည်။

⁴Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail, our lips are our own: who [is] lord over us?

⁴ကိုယ်နှုတ်ခမ်းသည် ကိုယ်အမှုကို စောင့်လိမ့် မည်။ ငါတို့၏သခင်ကား အဘယ်သူနည်းဟု ပြောဆို သော သူတို့၏ ချော့မော့သော နှုတ်ခမ်းနှင့် ဝါကြွားသော လျှာရှိသမျှတို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဖြတ်တော်မူမည်။

⁵Because of the oppression of the afflicted, because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith Jehovah, I will set [him] in safety, at whom they puff.

⁵ဆင်းရဲသောသူသည် ခံရသောညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်း၊ ငတ်မွတ်သောသူ၏ ငိုကြွေးခြင်းကြောင့် ယခုငါထမည်။ ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းကိုခံရသော သူအား ချမ်းသာပေးမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁶The words of Jehovah are pure words, silver tried in the furnace of earth, purified seven times.

⁶ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူချက်တို့သည် သန့်ရှင်း ခြင်းရှိ၍ မြေနှင့် ကင်းစင်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ မိုက်၌ခုနစ်ကြိမ် စစ်သော ငွေကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

⁷Thou, Jehovah, wilt keep them, thou wilt preserve them from this generation for ever.

⁷အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ထိုသူတို့ကို ဤလူမျိုးမှ အစဉ်ကာကွယ်စောင့်မတော်မူမည်။

⁸The wicked walk about on every side, when vileness is exalted among the children of men.

⁸ဆိုးယုတ်သောသူတို့သည် ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သည် ကာလ၊ မတရားသောသူတို့သည် အရပ်ရပ် လှည့်လည်ရသော အခွင့်ရှိကြ၏။
