¹He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

¹အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဘုရား၏ကွယ်ကာရာဌာန တော်၌ နေသောသူသည် အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်၏ အရိပ်ကို ခိုရလိမ့်မည်။

²I say of Jehovah, My refuge and my fortress; my God, I will confide in him.

²ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါခိုလှုံရာ၊ ငါ၏ရဲတိုက်၊ ငါကိုးစားသော ဘုရားသခင်ဖြစ်တော်မူသည်ဟု ငါပြော ဆို၏။

³Surely *he* shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the destructive pestilence.

³အကယ်စင်စစ် မုဆိုး၏ ကျော့ကွင်းနှင့်၎င်း၊ သေတတ်သောအနာနှင့်၎င်း၊ သင့်ကို ကင်းလွတ်စေတော်မူမည်။

⁴He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou find refuge: his truth is a shield and buckler.

⁴အတောင်တော် အမွေးနှင့်ဖုံးအုပ်တော်မူ၍၊ အတောင်တော်အောက်၌ သင်သည်လုံခြုံစွာ နေရလိမ့်မည်။ သစ္စာတော်သည် သင်၏ ဒိုင်းလွှားဖြစ်လိမ့် မည်။

⁵Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, for the arrow that flieth by day,

⁵ညဉ့်အခါဖြစ်တတ်သော ဘေးကို၎င်း၊ နေ့အချိန်၌ ပစ်သောမြှားကို၎င်း၊

⁶For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

⁶မှောင်မိုက်ထဲမှာ လည်တတ်သော ကာလနာကို၎င်း၊ မွန်းတည့်အချိန်၌ ဖျက်ဆီးတတ်သော ဥပဒ်ကို၎င်း၊ သင်သည်မကြောက်ရ။

⁷A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.

⁷သင်၏ အနားမှာလူတထောင်၊ သင်၏လက်ျာ ဘက်မှာ လူတသောင်းလဲသော်လည်း၊ သင့်ကို မထိ မခိုက်ရ။

⁸Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the wicked.

⁸သင်သည် ကိုယ်မျက်စိနှင့် ကြည့်၍၊ မတရား သော သူတို့၌ ရောက်ရသော အပြစ်ကိုမြင်ရုံမျှသာရှိ လိမ့်မည်။

⁹Because *thou* hast made Jehovah, my refuge, the Most High, thy dwelling-place,

⁹ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါခိုလှုံရာဖြစ်တော်မူ၏ဟု သင်သည်ဆို၍၊ အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဘုရား၌ နေရာကျသော ကြောင့်၊

¹⁰There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.

¹⁰သင်၌ မကောင်းသော အနိဌရုပ်မကပ် မရောက်။ သင့်နေရာသို့ ဘေးဥပဒ်မချဉ်းရ။

¹¹For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways:

¹¹သွားလေရာရာ၌ သင့်ကိုစောင့်ရှောက် စေခြင်း ငှါ၊ ကောင်းကင်တမန်တို့အား သင့်အဘို့မှာ ထားတော် မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊

¹²They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

¹²သင်၏ခြေကို ကျောက်နှင့် မထိမခိုက်စေခြင်း ငှါ၊ သူတို့သည် သင့်ကို လက်နှင့်မစချီပင့်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹³Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under foot.

¹³သင်သည် ခြင်္သေ့နှင့်မြွေဆိုးအပေါ်မှာ ကျော် သွား၍၊ ခြင်္သေ့ပျိုနှင့်နဂါးတို့ကို ခြေဖြင့်နင်းလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁴Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

¹⁴သူသည် ငါ့ကို ချစ်သောကြောင့်၊ သူ့ကို ငါကယ် နှုတ်မည်။ ငါ၏နာမကို သိသောကြောင့်၊ သူ့ကို ငါချီး မြှောက်မည်။

¹⁵He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.

¹⁵သူသည် ငါ့ကိုခေါ်သောအခါ ငါထူးမည်။ ဒုက္ခ ခံရသောအခါ သူ့ဘက်မှာ ငါနေ၍ ချမ်းသာပေးမည်။ သူ၏ဘုန်းကိုလည်း ထင်ရှားစေမည်။

¹⁶With length of days will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

¹⁶ရှည်သောအသက်နှင့် သူ့ကိုရောင့်ရဲစေ၍၊ ငါ၏ ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကျေးဇူးကို သူ့အားပြမည်။
