1Now him that is weak in the faith receive, not to [the] determining of questions of reasoning.
1ယုံကြည်အားနည်းသော သူတို့ကို လက်ခံကြလော့။ သို့ရာတွင် ယုံမှားဘွယ်သော ပြဿနာတို့ကို ထိုသူနှင့်မဆွေးနွေးကြနှင့်။ အစာအမျိုးမျိုးကို စားအပ်သည်ဟု လူအချို့ယုံ၏။
2One man is assured that he may eat all things; but the weak eats herbs.
2အားနည်းသောသူမူကား၊ ဟင်းသီးဟင်းရွက်ကိုသာစား၏။
3Let not him that eats make little of him that eats not; and let not him that eats not judge him that eats: for God has received him.
3အမျိုးမျိုးကို စားသောသူသည် မစားသောသူကို မထီမဲ့မြင် မပြုစေနှင့်။ မစားသောသူသည်လည်း၊ စားသော သူကိုမစစ်ကြောမစီရင်စေနှင့် အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် သူ့ကိုလက်ခံတော်မူပြီ။
4Who art *thou* that judgest the servant of another? to his own master he stands or falls. And he shall be made to stand; for the Lord is able to make him stand.
4သူတပါးပိုင်သော လူကိုစစ်ကြောစီရင်သော သင်သည် အဘယ်သူနည်း။ သူသည်မိမိသခင်စီရင်သော အားဖြင့်သာအပြစ်လွတ်ခြင်း၊ အပြစ်ခံခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရ၏။ သူသည်အပြစ်လွတ်ခြင်းသို့ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် သူ၏ အပြစ်ကို လွှတ်ခြင်းငှါ တတ်နိုင်တော်မူ၏။
5One man esteems day more than day; another esteems every day [alike]. Let each be fully persuaded in his own mind.
5နေ့ရက်တရက်ထက်တရက် သာ၍မြတ်သည်ဟု လူအချို့ထင်တတ်၏။ လူအချို့မထင်။ လူတိုင်းမိမိ စိတ်သဘောကျပါစေ။
6He that regards the day, regards it to [the] Lord. And he that eats, eats to [the] Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he that does not eat, [it is] to [the] Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.
6နေ့ရက်ကိုစောင့်သောသူသည် သခင်ဘုရားကို ထောက်၍ စောင့်၏။ နေ့ရက်ကို မစောင့်သော သူသည်လည်း၊ သခင်ဘုရားကို ထောက်၍ မစောင့်ဘဲနေ၏။ စားသောသူသည်သခင်ဘုရားကို ထောက်သောစိတ်နှင့် စား၍ ကျေးဇူးတော်ရှိသည်ဟု ဝန်ခံ၏။ မစားသော သူသည်လည်း၊ သခင်ဘုရားကို ထောက်သောစိတ်နှင့် မစားဘဲနေ၍၊ ကျေးဇူးတော်ရှိသည်ဟုဝန်ခံ၏။
7For none of us lives to himself, and none dies to himself.
7ငါတို့တွင် အဘယ်သူမျှကိုယ်အဘို့အလိုငှါ အသက်မရှင်။ အဘယ်သူမျှကိုယ်အဘို့အလို့ငှါမသေ။
8For both if we should live, [it is] to the Lord we live; and if we should die, [it is] to the Lord we die: both if we should live then, and if we should die, we are the Lord's.
8အသက်ရှင်လျှင်၊ သခင်ဘုရားအဘို့ အလိုငှါ ရှင်၏။ သေလျှင်လည်း၊ သခင်ဘုရား အဘို့အလိုငှါ သေ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်အသင်ရှင်သည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ သေသည် ဖြစ်စေ၊ သခင်ဘုရားဆိုင်တော်မူ၏။
9For to this [end] Christ has died and lived [again], that he might rule over both dead and living.
9အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ခရစ်တော်သည်၊ သေသော သူတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ရှင်သောသူတို့ကို၎င်း၊ အစိုးရသောအရှင် ဖြစ်လိုသောငှါ အသေခံ၍၊ ခံပြီးမှအသက်ရှင်ပြန် တော်မူ၏။
10But thou, why judgest thou thy brother? or again, thou, why dost thou make little of thy brother? for we shall all be placed before the judgment-seat of God.
10သင်သည် ညီအစ်ကိုချင်းကို အဘယ်ကြောင့် စစ်ကြောစီရင်သနည်း။ ညီအစ်ကိုချင်းကို အဘယ် ကြောင့် မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသနည်း။ ငါတို့ရှိသမျှသည် ခရစ်တော်၏ တရားပလ္လင်တော်ရှေ့သို့ ရောက်ရကြမည်။
11For it is written, *I* live, saith [the] Lord, that to me shall bow every knee, and every tongue shall confess to God.
11ကျမ်းစာလာသည်ကား၊ ငါအသက်ရှင်တော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါ့ရှေ့၌ လူတိုင်းဒူးထောက်ရမည်။ ဘုရားသခင်အားလူတိုင်းမိမိနှုတ်နှင့် သစ္စာခံရမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
12So then each of us shall give an account concerning himself to God.
12သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါတို့ရှိသမျှသည် ဘုရားသခင် စစ်ကြောတော်မူခြင်းကို ခံရကြမည်။
13Let us no longer therefore judge one another; but judge ye this rather, not to put a stumbling-block or a fall-trap before his brother.
13ထိုကြောင့်၊ ငါတို့သည် ယခုမှစ၍ အချင်းချင်း မစစ်ကြောမစီရင်ဘဲ နေကြကုန်အံ့။ ညီအစ်ကိုချင်း ထိမိ၍ လဲစရာအခွင့်၊ မှားယွင်းစရာအခွင့်မရှိစေမည်အကြောင်း သာ၍ စီရင်ကြကုန်အံ့။
14I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself; except to him who reckons anything to be unclean, to that man [it is] unclean.
14အဘယ်အစာမျှ ပကတိအတိုင်း မညစ်ညူးကြောင်းကို၊ ငါသည်သခင်ယေရှုကို အမှီပြုလျက်သဘော ကျ၍ အမှန်သိ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ညစ်ညူးသည်ဟု အကြင်သူသည်ထင်၏။ ထိုသူ၌ ညစ်ညူး၏။
15For if on account of meat thy brother is grieved, thou walkest no longer according to love. Destroy not him with thy meat for whom Christ has died.
15သင်၏ညီအစ်ကိုသည် သင်စားသော အစာကြောင့် စိတ်နာရလျှင်၊ သင်သည်မေတ္တာတရားကို မကျင့်။ ခရစ်တော်သည် အသေခံတော်မူသော ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ခံသောသူကိုသင်၏ အစာအားဖြင့် အကျိုး မနည်းစေနှင့်။
16Let not then your good be evil spoken of;
16သင်တို့သည် အခွင့်သည်အမှုမှာ ကဲ့ရဲ့စရာ အကြောင်းမရှိစေနှင့်။
17for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in [the] Holy Spirit.
17ဘုရားသခင်၏ နိုင်ငံတော်သည် အစားအသောက်၌ မတည်။ ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်း၊ ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်း၊ သန့်ရှင်းသော ဝိညာဉ်တော်အားဖြင့် ခံရသော ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း၌ တည်၏။
18For he that in this serves the Christ [is] acceptable to God and approved of men.
18ထိုသို့ကျင့်၍ ခရစ်တော်၏အမှုကို ဆောင်ရွက်သောသူသည် ဘုရားသခင့်ရှေ့၌ နှစ်သက်ဘွယ်၊ လူတို့ တွင် ချီးမွမ်းဘွယ်ဖြစ်၏။
19So then let us pursue the things which tend to peace, and things whereby one shall build up another.
19ထိုကြောင့်၊ ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းနှင့်၎င်း၊ အချင်းချင်းတည်ဆောက်ခြင်းနှင့်၎င်း ယှဉ်သောအရာတို့ကို မှီအောင်လိုက်ကြကုန်အံ့။
20For the sake of meat do not destroy the work of God. All things indeed [are] pure; but [it is] evil to that man who eats while stumbling [in doing so].
20ဘုရားသခင်၏ အမှုတော်ကို သင်၏အစာအလိုငှါ မဖျက်ဆီးနှင့်။ အစာအမျိုးမျိုးတို့သည် စင်ကြယ်၏။ သို့သော်လည်း သူတပါးထိမိ၍ လဲစရာအကြောင်းနှင့် စားသော သူသည်အပြစ်ရှိ၏။
21[It is] right not to eat meat, nor drink wine, nor [do anything] in which thy brother stumbles, or is offended, or is weak.
21အမဲသားကိုစားခြင်း၊ စပျစ်ရည်ကိုသောက်ခြင်း ကိစ္စမှစ၍၊ ညီအစ်ကိုထိမိ၍ လဲစရာအကြောင်း၊ မှားယွင်း စရာအကြောင်း၊ အားနည်းစရာအကြောင်းများကို ရှောင်အပ်၏။
22Hast *thou* faith? have [it] to thyself before God. Blessed [is] he who does not judge himself in what he allows.
22သင်သည်ယုံခြင်းရှိလျှင် ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက် ဘုရားသခင့်ရှေ့၌ ရှိစေလော့။ ကိုယ်လက်ခံသောအမှုမှာ ကိုယ်ကိုမစစ်ကြော မစီရင်သောသူသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။
23But he that doubts, if he eat, is condemned; because [it is] not of faith; but whatever [is] not of faith is sin.
23ယုံမှားသောသူသည် စားလျှင်၊ ယုံသောစိတ် မရှိဘဲ စားသောကြောင့် အပြစ်စီရင်ခြင်းကိုခံရ၏။ ယုံသောစိတ်မရှိဘဲ ကျင့်သမျှသော အကျင့်တို့သည် အပြစ်ရှိကြ၏။
