1The burden of Moab: For in the night of being laid waste, Ar of Moab is destroyed; for in the night of being laid waste, Kir of Moab is destroyed!
1Moab gam puakgik. Jan khatin Moab gama Ar khua suksiatin a oma, bangmahlou-a bawlin lah a omta ngala; jan khat in Moab gama Kir khua suksiatin a oma, bangmahlou-a bawlin lah a omta ngala.
2He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, to the high places, to weep; Moab howleth over Nebo, and over Medeba; on all their heads is baldness, every beard is cut off.
2Dibon tanu, mun sangtea, kap dingin a hohtoutaa; Moabten Nebo leh Medeba a kah khum ua, a lu tengteng uh a giau veka, a khamul teng uleng metin a om vekta hi.
3In their streets they are girded with sackcloth; on their roofs, and in their broadways, every one howleth, melted into tears.
3A kongzingte uah saiip puan a teng ua: a in tunguahte leh a kholak khawng uah mi chih nakpipiin a mau tuaituai uh.
4And Heshbon crieth, and Elealeh: their voice is heard unto Jahaz. Therefore the armed men of Moab cry out: his soul trembleth in him.
4Huan, Heshbonte leng a kikou ua, Elealehte toh; Jahaz kho lamin leng a aw uh a ja uhi: huaijiakin Moabte galvana kivante ngaihtakin a kikou ua; a hinna uh a sung uah a ling hi.
5My heart crieth out for Moab; their fugitives [have fled] unto Zoar, unto Eglath-Sheli-shijah: for by the ascent of Luhith, with weeping they go up by it; for in the way of Horonaim they raise up a cry of destruction.
5Moabte jiakin ka lungtang a kikou a; a mi hoihte uh Zoar khua leh Eglath-shelishijah ah a tai ua: Hornaim lampi ah siatna kikouin a kikou khia uhi.
6For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate; for the herbage is withered away, the grass hath failed, there is no green thing.
6Nimrim tuite lah hihsiatin a om sin ngal ua: loupa lah a vuai khina, loupa selnoute a vuaia, thil hing himhim lah a omta ngal kei hi.
7Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, do they carry away to the torrent of the willows.
7Huaijiakin, a sum neih sunte u leh a koih hoihte uh Muisum Lui gal a kai mang pih uhi.
8For the cry goeth round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beer-elim.
8Kikou husa lah Moab gamgi kim khawngah a thang ngala; a mau tuaituai husa Eglaim khua a tungta hi.Dimon tuite lah sisanin a dim vek ngala: Dimon tungah thil thupi diak ka tungsak sin ngala, Moabte laka taikhiate tungah leh, huai gama om sunte tungah humpinelkai ka tungsak ding hi.
9For the waters of Dimon are full of blood, for I will lay yet more upon Dimon: a lion upon them that are escaped of Moab, and upon that which remaineth of the land.
9Dimon tuite lah sisanin a dim vek ngala: Dimon tungah thil thupi diak ka tungsak sin ngala, Moabte laka taikhiate tungah leh, huai gama om sunte tungah humpinelkai ka tungsak ding hi.
