Isaiah

24

1Behold, Jehovah maketh the land empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad its inhabitants.
1Ngaiin, TOUPAN lei a awngsakin, a sesak sina, a lumlet dinga, a omte a dalhsak sin hi.
2And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with him from whom usury is taken.
2Huan, vantang tunga om bangin siampu tungah leng a om ding; bawipa tunga a om bangin a pu tungah leng a om ding; bawinu tung a om bangin a pi tungah leng a om ding; a leimi tunga a om bangin, a khawngmi tungahleng a om ding; leitawisakmi tunga a om bangin a kianga apung pemi tungah leng a om ding.
3The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled; for Jehovah hath spoken this word.
3Lei lah awnsak keuhkeuh inleh hih siat dimdemin a om ding; huai lah TOUPAN a chita ngala.
4The land mourneth, it fadeth away; the world languisheth, it fadeth away: the haughty people of the land do languish.
4Lei lah a kapin a tul a khovel lah bahin a tul a, leia mi tungnungte a bah uhi.
5And the land is polluted under the inhabitants thereof; for they have violated the laws, changed the statute, broken the everlasting covenant.
5Lei lah a ommite nuaiah a buahkhinta; dan te ah a talek ua, thuseh lak a hihlamdang ua, khantawn thukhuna a tatlek jiak un.
6Therefore doth the curse devour the earth, and they that dwell therein are held guilty; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are consumed, and few men are left.
6Huaijiakin hamsiatin lei a ne khina, a ommite lah siam louh tansak in a omta uh: huaijiakin leia ommite lah a kanglum ua, mi tawm chik kia a om lai uh.
7The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all that were merry-hearted do sigh;
7Uain thak lah a kapa, grepgui lah a baha, lungtang nuamte tengteng a mau uhi.
8the mirth of tambours ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
8Khuangtate kipahna lah a daia, kaihging nuamsa ging lah a daita.
9They do not drink wine with a song; strong drink is bitter to them that drink it.
9Lasa kawmin uai a dawm kei ding uh: ju lah a dawnmite adingin a kha mahmah ding.
10The city of solitude is broken down; every house is shut up, so that none entereth in.
10Buaina khopi chipsakin a omta: kuamah himhim a lut louhnba ding un in chih khakin a omta.
11There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone;
11Uain jiakin kongzingte ah kap husa a oma: nuamna tengteng mialsakin a oma, hiai gam nopna a gamgta.
12desolation remaineth in the city, and the gate is smitten, -- a ruin.
12Khopi ah siatna nutsiatin a oma, a kulh kongkhak lah vuak siatin a omta.
13For so will it be in the midst of the land among the peoples, as the shaking of an olive-tree, as the grape-gleanings when the vintage is done.
13Lei laitakah mi chih lakah hichiin a om sing ngala, olive sing vuak nunga gah a om lai sek bangin leh, grep loh nunga grep maih loh ding a om lai sek bang maiin.
14These shall lift up their voice, they shall shout for the majesty of Jehovah, they shall cry aloud from the sea.
14Huaiten a aw uh a suah ding ua, a kikou ding uh; TOUPA thupina jiakin tuipi akipanin ngaihtakin a kikou ding uh.
15Therefore glorify Jehovah in the east, the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel, in the isles of the west.
15Huaijiakin TOUPA tuh Suahlam ah pahtawi un.
16From the end of the earth have we heard songs: Glory to the righteous! And I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! The treacherous have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.
16Kawlmong tawpa lasak i ja, Mi diktatte kiangah thupina om hen, chih la. Himahleh, ken bel, Ka gawng huaihuaia, ka tung gik hi! lepchiahtaka gamtammiten lepchiahtakin a hih uhi, ka chi a.
17Fear, and the pit, and the snare are upon thee, inhabitant of the land.
17Leia om aw, lauhuainate, kokhukte, thangte na tungah a om hi.
18And it shall come to pass, [that] he who fleeth from the sound of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are open, and the foundations of the earth shake.
18Huchiin hichi ahi dinga, lauhuai husa akipana taipa tuh kokhukah a ke dinga; kokhuk sunga kipana pawtkhe toumi thangah a awk ding; tunglama tohlette lah honin a om ngalam lei kingaknate lah a ling hi.
19The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is completely dissolved, the earth is violently moved.
19Lei lah a kitam gawp veka, lei lah hihmanin a om vek a, lei lah nak pitakin a ling hi.
20The earth reeleth to and fro like a drunkard, and is shaken like a night hut; and its transgression is heavy upon it; and it falleth and shall not rise again.
20Leilah mi zukham bangin a hoi dongdong dinga, bawkta hawt bangin a kihawt ding; a tatlekna lah a tungah giktakin a om ding a, huchiin a puk dinga, a thou nawnta kei ding hi.
21And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] Jehovah will punish the host of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
21Huan, huai ni chiangin hichi ahi dinga, Toupan tunglama mi tungnung pawl lian pipite a gawt ding, leia lei kumpipate toh.
22And they shall be brought together, [as] an assemblage of prisoners for the pit, and shall be shut up in prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
22Huan, hentate kokhuka pi khawma a om bang un huaite pi khawmin a om ding ua, suangkulha khum in a om ding uh, ni sawttak nungin gawt in a om ding uh.Huai hun chiangin tunga kha zum takin a om dinga, tunga ni zahlak takin a om ding; sepaihte TOUPA lah Zion tang leh Jerusalem khuaah leh, a upate maah, thupitakin lalin a om sing ngala.
23And the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for Jehovah of hosts shall reign on mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients in glory.
23Huai hun chiangin tunga kha zum takin a om dinga, tunga ni zahlak takin a om ding; sepaihte TOUPA lah Zion tang leh Jerusalem khuaah leh, a upate maah, thupitakin lalin a om sing ngala.
