109

1{To the chief Musician. Of David. A Psalm.} O God of my praise, be not silent:
1Ka phat Pathian aw, dai nilouh ken:
2For the mouth of the wicked [man] and the mouth of deceit are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue,
2Migilou-salou kam leh kam khemhat tuh ka tungah a hang ngal ua: amau tuh lei juautheiin ka kiangah thu a gen uhi.
3And with words of hatred have they encompassed me; and they fight against me without a cause.
3Huatna thuin honum suak ua, bangmahlouin a hondou uhi.
4For my love they are mine adversaries; but I [give myself unto] prayer.
4Ka it jiakin a hondoute a honghita uhi: himahleh kei jaw thum thum dingin ka kipe chinten hi.
5And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
5Aman thil hoih tuh thil gilouin honthuk ua, ka itna tuh huatna mahin a honthuk uhi.
6Set a wicked [man] over him, and let [the] adversary stand at his right hand;
6Nang a tungah mi gilou koih inla: a tak lamah hekmi ding hen.
7When he shall be judged, let him go out guilty, and let his prayer become sin;
7Vaihawmsaka a om chiangin siamlouh tangin pawt henla: a thumna tuh khelhna ah suak hen.
8Let his days be few, let another take his office;
8A damsung nite tuh tom henla; a heutu hihna midangin tang hen.
9Let his sons be fatherless, and his wife a widow;
9A tate tuh pa louin om uhenla, a ji mahleng meithaiin om hen.
10Let his sons be vagabonds and beg, and let them seek [their bread] far from their desolate places;
10A tate tuh mi vakvai honghiin, khutdoh uhenla; a nekding uh a mun gamsiate ah zong uhen.
11Let the usurer cast the net over all that he hath, and let strangers despoil his labour;
11A pung delha dangka leitawisakin a neih tengteng laksak vek henla; mikhualten a sepgim gah lok uhen.
12Let there be none to extend kindness unto him, neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children;
12A tunga chitna langsak jel ding kuamah om sam kei uhenla; a ta paneiloute hehpihpa ding kuamah om kei hen.
13Let his posterity be cut off; in the generation following let their name be blotted out:
13A suante hihmanin om uhen la; khangthak hongom nawnah a min uh nul mangin om hen.
14Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with Jehovah, and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out;
14A pipute uh gitlouh-satlouhna TOUPA kiangah theigigein om henla: a nu khelhna tuh nul mangin om kei hen.
15Let them be before Jehovah continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth:
15Huaite tuh TOUPA maah om gige heh. Aman a mau theihgigena lei akipan a hihmang theihna dingin.
16Because he remembered not to shew kindness, but persecuted the afflicted and needy man, and the broken in heart, to slay him.
16Chitna latsak nadan a theihlouh ua, mi genthei tagah leh khasiate hihlup tuma a sawi zosop jiak un:
17And he loved cursing; so let it come unto him. And he delighted not in blessing; and let it be far from him.
17A hi, mi hamsiat tuh a utlam ahi a, huchiin amah tungah a hongtunga: mi vualjawl tuh a kipahlam ahi keia, huchiin amah gamlat piin a om hi.
18And he clothed himself with cursing like his vestment; so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones;
18Puanak tual silh bangin hamsiatnain a kivana, huai tuh a gilsung khawngah tui bangina luta, a guh khawngah thau bangin a leng lut hi.
19Let it be unto him as a garment with which he covereth himself, and for a girdle wherewith he is constantly girded.
19Huai tuh amah a dingin silh gige puansilh bangin om henla, a kigak jelna kawnggak mahleng hi hen.
20Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from Jehovah, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
20Huai tuh hondoute leh ka hinna gensete TOUPAN a thukna ahi.
21But do *thou* for me, Jehovah, Lord, for thy name's sake; because thy loving-kindness is good, deliver me:
21Himahleh, TOUPA Pathian aw, nang na min jiakin honhehpih inla: na chitna a hoih jiakin honhumbit in.
22For I am afflicted and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
22Genthei leh tagah tak ka hia, ka lungtang tuh ka gilsungah liamin a om ngal hi.
23I am gone like a shadow when it lengtheneth; I am tossed about like the locust;
23Lim kiamlam bangin ka manga: khaupe bangin mutlengin ka om hi.
24My knees are failing through fasting, and my flesh hath lost its fatness;
24Ka khukte ann ngawl jiakin a hatta keia; ka sain thau himhim a puta kei hi.
25And I am become a reproach unto them; [when] they look upon me they shake their heads.
25Amau gensiat ka nahita a; honmuh tak un a lu uh a sing jel uhi.
26Help me, Jehovah my God; save me according to thy loving-kindness:
26TOUPA ka Pathian aw, honpanpih inla; aw na chitna bang jelin honhondamin;
27That they may know that this is thy hand; that *thou*, Jehovah, hast done it.
27Huai tuh na khut ahi, chih a theih ua, TOUPA, nang na hih ahi chih a theihna ding un.
28Let *them* curse, but bless *thou*; when they rise up, let them be ashamed, and let thy servant rejoice.
28Amau hamsiat uhen, nang jaw vualjawl jawin: a thoh tak un a zahlak ding ua, na sikha bel a nuamsa ding hi.
29Let mine adversaries be clothed with confusion, and let them cover themselves with their shame as with a mantle.
29Hondoute zumna puansilh sakin om uhenla, puannak-a kivan bangin amau zahlaknain kivan uhen.
30I will greatly celebrate Jehovah with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
30Ka kamin TOUPA kiangah kipahthu nakpi takin ka gen dinga; ahi, mipi lakah amah ka phat ding hi.Amah tuh tagahte taklamah a dinga, a hinna vaihawmsakte laka hondam dingin.
31For he standeth at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those that judge his soul.
31Amah tuh tagahte taklamah a dinga, a hinna vaihawmsakte laka hondam dingin.
