1That which was from [the] beginning, that which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes; that which we contemplated, and our hands handled, concerning the word of life;
1O Kristo si e Vorba le traioski, kai sas de anda gor swakona dielako: ke ame ashundiam, ai dikhliam amare iakhensa; ame dikhliam pe late, ai azbadiam amare vastensa e Vorba le traioski.
2(and the life has been manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and report to you the eternal life, which was with the Father, and has been manifested to us:)
2Kana kodo traio sikadilo, ame dikhliam les; anda kodia ame mothas tumenge, ai phenas tumenge pa traio kai chi mai getolpe, kai sas le Dadesa, ai sas sikadilo amende.
3that which we have seen and heard we report to you, that *ye* also may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship [is] indeed with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
3So ame dikhliam ai ashundiam vi tumenge mangas te mothas, saxke te aven vi tume andek than amensa ande chidimos kai si ame le Dadesa, ai leske shavesa O Jesus Kristo.
4And these things write we to you that your joy may be full.
4Ame ramos tumenge kadala dieli saxke te avel tume baro raduimos.
5And this is the message which we have heard from him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
5Eta e lashi viasta kai ashundiam katar O Jesus Kristo, ai kai akana ame mothas tumenge: O Del si vediara ai nai chi iek tuniariko ande leste.
6If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not practise the truth.
6Te mothasa ke traiisaras le Kristosa, numa te avasa inker ando tuniariko, ame xoxavas vi ande amaro divano ai vi ande so keras.
7But if we walk in the light as *he* is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.
7Numa te traiisarasa ande vediara, sar O Del si ande vediara, antunchi sam astarde andek than, ai o rat le Kristosko lesko Shav vuzharel ame anda sa amare bezexa.
8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
8Te phenasa ke chi sam bezexale, ame xoxavas ame amen, ai o chachimos nai ande amende.
9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us [our] sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
9Numa te purhisarasa amare bezexa le Devleske, wo kerela sar shinadia ai so si vorta: wo iertila amare bezexa ai vuzharela ame anda so godi si nasulimos.
10If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
10Te mothasa ke chi kerdiam bezexa, keras anda Del xoxamlo, ai leski Vorba nai ande amende.
