Darby's Translation

Romani: New Testament

1 Peter

5

1The elders which [are] among you I exhort, who [am their] fellow-elder and witness of the sufferings of the Christ, who also [am] partaker of the glory about to be revealed:
1Mangav te phenav kodolenge kai si mashkar tumende ai kai zhanen le Devles de dumult, ke i me sar lende, zhanav le Devles de dumult. Ai dikhlem o chino le Kristosko, ai vi me avava ando luvudimos kai si te avel.
2shepherd the flock of God which [is] among you, exercising oversight, not by necessity, but willingly; not for base gain, but readily;
2Eta so mangav lendar; len sama sar le pastuxuria katar le bakriorha kai meklia tumenge O Del, len sama lendar tumare ilesa, sar O Del mangel, ai na bi ilesko.
3not as lording it over your possessions, but being models for the flock.
4And when the chief shepherd is manifested ye shall receive the unfading crown of glory.
5Likewise [ye] younger, be subject to [the] elder, and all of you bind on humility towards one another; for God sets himself against [the] proud, but to [the] humble gives grace.
5Ai tume le mai terne, keren so mothon tumenge le mai phure. Ai akana phenav savorhenge te aven milosa te zhutin iek kavres, ke E Vorba le Devleski mothol, "Ke O Del chi zhutil le manushen kai si barimatange, numa zhutil kodolen kai nai barimatange."
6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in [the due] time;
6No meken tume tele tela vas o baro le Devlesko, saxke te vazdel tume kana avela e vriama.
7having cast all your care upon him, for he cares about you.
7Anen sa leste sa tumare nekazuria, ke wo lel sama tumendar.
8Be vigilant, watch. Your adversary [the] devil as a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may devour.
8Ai arakhen tume, na meken tume te kovlion! Ke tumaro duzhmano, o beng, rodel sar iek liono kai si bokhalo te xal vari kas.
9Whom resist, stedfast in faith, knowing that the selfsame sufferings are accomplished in your brotherhood which [is] in [the] world.
9Inkeren zurales tumaro pachamos ai na len tume pala leste, ke zhanen ke tumare phral kai pachanpe ando Del ai kai si pe sa e lumia, vi won nakhen sa katar kadala chinuria.
10But the God of all grace who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, when ye have suffered for a little while, himself shall make perfect, stablish, strengthen, ground:
10Numa kana chinuisardiana xantsi, O Del kai si les sa o lashimos, ai kai akhardia tume ka pesko luvudimos kai shoxar chi getolpe le Kristosa, wo kerela anda tumende te aven vorta, ai dela tume zor ai putiera, ai kerela anda tumende manush kai nashtin te rimonpe.
11to him [be] the glory and the might for the ages of the ages. Amen.
11Leste te avel e putiera ande swako vriama. Amen.
12By Silvanus, the faithful brother, as I suppose, I have written to you briefly; exhorting and testifying that this is [the] true grace of God in which ye stand.
12Me ramosardem tumenge kado skurto lil ai o Silvanus zhutisardia ma, ke me jinav les sar ek phral kai kerel vorta peski buchi. Me mangav te zhutiv tume ai te mothav tumenge ke san ando chacho lashimos le Devleske. Anda kodia trobul te inkeren les.
13She that is elected with [you] in Babylon salutes you, and Marcus my son.
14Salute one another with a kiss of love. Peace be with you all who [are] in Christ.
14Kana dikhen iek kavres chumiden tume sar phral. E pacha te avel tumensa savorhensa kai dian tumaro traio le Kristoske.
