¹And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

¹A stalo sa slovo Hospodinovo ku mne povediac:

²Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

²Synu človeka, obráť svoju tvár proti Gógovi zeme Magóga, kniežaťu Róša, Mešecha a Tubala, a prorokuj proti nemu

³and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.

³a povieš: Takto hovorí Pán Hospodin: Hľa, prijdem proti tebe, Gógu, knieža Róša, Mešecha a Tubala!

⁴And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them thoroughly equipped, a great assemblage with targets and shields, all of them handling swords:

⁴A zavrátim ťa a dám obrúčky do tvojich čelustí a vyvediem ťa i všetko tvoje vojsko, kone i jazdcov, ktorí všetci sú bezvadne oblečení, veľké shromaždenie s pavézami a so štítmi, všetko takí, ktorí narábajú mečami:

⁵Persia, Cush, and Phut with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

⁵Peržan, Ethiop a Pút s nimi, tí všetci, opatrení štítom a lebkou,

⁶Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah from the uttermost north, and all his bands; -- many peoples with thee.

⁶Gomer i všetky jeho hejná, dom Togarmy, najďaľšie kraje severa, a so všetkými jeho hejnami, mnohé to národy s tebou.

⁷Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself thou, and all thine assemblage that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

⁷Priprav sa a prihotov si všetko, ty i všetky tvoje shromaždenia, ktoré sa shromaždily k tebe, a budeš im strážou!

⁸After many days shalt thou be visited; at the end of years thou shalt come into the land brought back from the sword [and] gathered out of many peoples, upon the mountains of Israel which have been a perpetual waste: but it is brought forth out from the peoples, and they shall all of them be dwelling in safety.

⁸Po mnohých dňoch budeš navštívený, na konci rokov prijdeš do zeme, ktorá je navrátená od zkazy meča, shromaždená, jej ľud, z mnohých národov, na vrchy Izraelove, ktoré bývaly ustavične púšťou; ale potom vyvedení súc z národov budú všetci bývať bezpečne.

⁹And thou shalt ascend, thou shalt come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many peoples with thee.

⁹A prijdeš hore, prijdeš ako búrka, budeš ako hustý oblak, pokrývajúci zem, ty i všetky tvoje hejná a mnohé národy s tebou.

¹⁰Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: It shall even come to pass in that day that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought;

¹⁰Takto hovorí Pán Hospodin: A stane sa toho dňa, že prijdú veci na tvoje srdce, a vymyslíš zlú vec.

¹¹and thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will come to them that are in quiet, that dwell in safety, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

¹¹A povieš: Pojdem hore na zem neopevnených osád, prijdem na tých, ktorí žijú na pokoji, ktorí bývajú bezpeční, ktorí všetci bývajú v osadách bez múru a nemajú závory ani vrát, -

¹²to seize a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thy hand against the waste places that are [now] inhabited, and against a people gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the middle of the land.

¹²aby si pobral korisť a pochvátal lúpež obrátiac svoju ruku na osadené spustošeniny, a k ľudu, shromaždenému z národov, ktorý si nadovážil dobytka a imania, k tým, ktorí bývajú prostred zeme.

¹³Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to seize a spoil? hast thou gathered thine assemblage to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take cattle and goods, to seize a great spoil?

¹³Šeba, Dedán a kupci Taršíša a všetci jeho mladí ľvi ti povedia: Či si ty prišiel nato, aby si pobral korisť? Či nato, aby si pochvátal lúpež, shromaždil si svoje shromaždenie? Nato, aby si odniesol striebro a zlato, aby si pobral dobytok a imanie? Aby si pobral veľkú korisť?

¹⁴Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In that day when my people Israel dwelleth in safety, shalt thou not know [it]?

¹⁴Preto prorokuj, synu človeka, a povieš Gógovi: Takto hovorí Pán Hospodin: Či azda toho dňa, keď bude môj ľud Izrael bývať bezpečne, toho nezvieš?

¹⁵And thou shalt come from thy place out of the uttermost north, thou and many peoples with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great assemblage and a mighty army.

¹⁵A prijdeš zo svojho miesta, z najďaľších krajov severa, ty i mnohé národy s tebou, jazdiaci na koňoch všetci, koľko ich bude, veľké shromaždenie a mnohé vojsko.

¹⁶And thou shalt come up against my people Israel as a cloud to cover the land -- it shall be at the end of days -- and I will bring thee against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be hallowed in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

¹⁶A pojdeš hore na môj ľud Izraela jako hustý oblak, pokrývajúci zem. Bude to v posledných dňoch, a dovediem ťa na svoju zem, aby ma poznaly národy, keď sa posvätím v tebe pred ich očami, Gógu!

¹⁷Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Art thou not he of whom I have spoken in old time through my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days, for [many] years, that I would bring thee against them?

¹⁷Takto hovorí Pán Hospodin: Či si to ty, o ktorom som hovoril za dávnych dní skrze svojich služobníkov, prorokov Izraelových, ktorí prorokovali v tých dňoch za roky, že ťa dovediem na nich?

¹⁸And it shall come to pass in that day, in the day when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, [that] my fury shall come up in my face;

¹⁸Ale stane sa toho dňa, v deň, v ktorý prijde Góg na zem Izraelovu, hovorí Pán Hospodin, že moja prchlivosť vystúpi do mojich nozdier,

¹⁹for in my jealousy, in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Verily in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

¹⁹a vo svojej žiarlivosti, v ohni svojho prudkého hnevu budem hovoriť! Istotne bude toho dňa veľké trasenie na zemi Izraelovej.

²⁰so that the fish of the sea, and the fowl of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things which creep upon the earth, and all mankind that are upon the face of the earth shall shake at my presence; and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

²⁰A budú sa triasť pred mojou tvárou morské ryby a nebeskí vtáci aj poľná zver i všetky plazy, ktoré sa plazia po zemi, jako i všetci ľudia, ktorí sú na tvári zeme. A vrchy sa zrútia, a padnú príkre svahy, i každý múr padne na zem.

²¹And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord Jehovah: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

²¹A zavolám proti nemu na všetky svoje vrchy meč, hovorí Pán Hospodin. Každého meč bude proti jeho bratovi.

²²And I will enter into judgment with him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many peoples that are with him, overflowing rain and great hailstones, fire and brimstone.

²²A budem sa s ním súdiť morom a krvou a dám pršať na neho i na jeho hejná i na mnohé národy, ktoré budú s ním, zaplavujúci dážď a krupobitie, oheň a síru.

²³And I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.

²³A tak sa zvelebím a posvätím a dám sa poznať pred očami mnohých národov, a zvedia, že ja som Hospodin.
