1For behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall turn again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

2I will also gather all the nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of my people and mine inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations: and they have parted my land;
2shromaždím aj všetky národy a zavediem ich dolu do údolia Jozafatovho a tam sa budem s nimi súdiť pre svoj ľud a pre svoje dedičstvo, pre Izraela, ktorého rozptýlili medzi pohanov a moju zem si rozdelili.
3and they have cast lots for my people, and have given a boy for a harlot, and sold a girl for wine, and have drunk [it].
3A o môj ľud vrhali los a dávali chlapča za smilnicu a dievča predávali za víno a pili.
4Yea also, what have ye to do with me, O Tyre and Zidon, and all the districts of Philistia? Will ye render me a recompence? But if ye recompense me, swiftly [and] speedily will I bring your recompence upon your own head;
4A tiež čože ste mne vy, Týrus a Sidon a všetky kraje Filištee? Či sa mi azda idete odplatiť? Ale ak sa mi odplácate, ľahko a rýchle obrátim vašu odplatu na vašu hlavu,
5because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my beautiful pleasant things,
5ktorí ste pobrali moje striebro a moje zlato a moje výborné klenoty ste povnášali do svojich chrámov.
6and the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the children of the Greeks, that ye might remove them far from their border.
6A synov Júdu a synov Jeruzalema ste popredali synom Javáncov, aby ste ich ďaleko odstránili od ich územia.
7Behold, I will raise them up out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will bring your recompence upon your own head.
7Hľa, ja ich vzbudím z miesta, na ktoré ste ich predali, a obrátim vašu odplatu na vašu hlavu.
8And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a nation far off: for Jehovah hath spoken.
8A predám vašich synov a vaše dcéry do ruky synov Júdových, a predajú ich Šabajcom, do ďalekého národa, lebo Hospodin hovoril.
9Proclaim this among the nations: prepare war, arouse the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up.
9Rozhláste to medzi národami, zasväťte vojnu, zobuďte hrdinov, nech pritiahnu, nech vyjdú hore, všetci bojovní mužovia.
10Beat your ploughshares into swords, and your pruning-knives into spears; let the weak say, I am strong.
10Skujte svoje motyky na meče a svoje srpy na kopije, a slaboch nech povie: Som hrdina!
11Haste ye and come, all ye nations round about, and gather yourselves together. Thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Jehovah.
11Ponáhľajte sa a poďte všetky národy zo všetkých strán, a shromaždite sa! Daj, ó, Hospodine, aby ta sostúpili tvoji hrdinovia!
12Let the nations rouse themselves, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about.
12Nech sa zobudia národy a povstanúc idú hore do údolia Jozafatovho, lebo tam sa posadím, aby som súdil všetky národy naokolo.
13Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down, for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
13Priložte srp, lebo dozrela žatva! Poďte, sídite, lebo preš je plný, pretekajú kade, pretože ich zlosť je veľká.
14Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Jehovah is at hand in the valley of decision.
14Hromady, hromady shromaždiť v údolí rozhodnutia! Lebo je blízko deň Hospodinov v údolí rozhodnutia.
15The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
15Slnce a mesiac sa zatmejú a hviezdy spracú svoj lesk.
16And Jehovah will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: and Jehovah will be a shelter for his people, and the refuge of the children of Israel.
16A Hospodin bude revať so Siona a z Jeruzalema vydá svoj hlas, a budú sa chvieť nebesia i zem, ale Hospodin je útočišťom svojmu ľudu a pevnosťou synom Izraelovým.
17And ye shall know that I, Jehovah, [am] your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain; and Jerusalem shall be holy, and no strangers shall pass through her any more.
17A zviete, že ja Hospodin som váš Bôh, ktorý bývam na Sione, na vrchu svojej svätosti. A tak bude Jeruzalem svätý, a cudzí nepojdú viacej cezeň.
18And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the water-courses of Judah shall flow with waters; and a fountain shall come forth from the house of Jehovah, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
18A stane sa toho dňa, že vrchy budú kvapkať sladkým vínom, brehy potečú mliekom, všetky potoky Júdove potečú vodami, a prameň bude vychádzať z domu Hospodinovho a bude napájať dolinu Šittím.
19Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, in that they have shed innocent blood in their land.
19Egypt bude obrátený na púšť a Edom bude obrátený na strašnú pustinu pre ukrutnosť, páchanú na synoch Júdových, pretože vylievali nevinnú krv v ich zemi.
20But Judah shall abide for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
20Ale Júda bude na veky bývať v pokoji a Jeruzalem na pokolenie a pokolenie.
21And I will purge them from the blood from which I had not purged them: for Jehovah dwelleth in Zion.
21A smyjem krv tých, ktorých krvi som nesmyl. A Hospodin bude bývať na Sione.
