1It is universally reported [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as [is] not even among the nations, so that one should have his father's wife.
1Zvinonzwikwa chose kuti upombwe hwuripo pakati penyu, uye upombwe hwakadaro hwusingataurwi kunyange pakati pevahedheni, hwokuti mumwe ave nemukadzi wababa vake.
2And *ye* are puffed up, and ye have not rather mourned, in order that he that has done this deed might be taken away out of the midst of you.
2Asi imwi munozvikudza, uye pachinzvimbo chaizvozvo hamuna kuchema, kuti uyo wakaita chiito ichi abviswe pakati penyu?
3For *I*, [as] absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged as present,
3Nekuti ini zvirokwazvo, sendisipo pamuviri, asi ndiripo pamweya, ndatotonga uyo wakaita chiito ichi sendinenge ndiripo,
4[to deliver,] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (ye and my spirit being gathered together, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ), him that has so wrought this:
4Muzita raIshe wedu Jesu Kristu, maungana pamwe nemweya wangu nesimba raIshe wedu Jesu Kristu.
5to deliver him, [I say,] [being] such, to Satan for destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
5kukumikidza wakadai kuna Satani kuti nyama yake iparadzwe, kuti mweya uponeswe pazuva raIshe Jesu.
6Your boasting [is] not good. Do ye not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
6Kuzvikudza kwenyu hakuna kunaka. Hamuzivi here kuti mbiriso shoma inovirisa bundu rose?
7Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, according as ye are unleavened. For also our passover, Christ, has been sacrificed;
7Naizvozvo bvisai mbiriso yekare, kuti muve bundu idzva, sezvamusina kuviriswa. Nekuti nepasika yedu yakabayirwa isu, iye Kristu;
8so that let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth.
8saka ngatichengetedze mutambo, kwete nembiriso yekare, kana nembiriso yekuipa nekutadza; asi nechingwa chisina kuviriswa chakatendeka nechokwadi.
9I have written to you in the epistle not to mix with fornicators;
9Ndakakunyorerai mutsamba, kuti musafambidzana nemhombwe;
10not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the avaricious and rapacious, or idolaters, since [then] ye should go out of the world.
10asi kwete zvakazara nemhombwe dzenyika ino, kana nevachivi, kana makororo, kana vanonamata zvifananidzo, nekuti kana zvakadaro zvingafanira kuti mubude munyika.
11But now I have written to you, if any one called brother be fornicator, or avaricious, or idolater, or abusive, or a drunkard, or rapacious, not to mix with [him]; with such a one not even to eat.
11Asi ikozvino ndakunyorerai kuti murege kufambidzana, kana munhu achiidzwa hama ari mhombwe, kana muchivi kana munamati wezvifananidzo kana munyombi kana chidhakwa kana gororo; musatongodya newakadai.
12For what have *I* [to do] with judging those outside also? *ye*, do not ye judge them that are within?
12Nekuti ini ndinei pakutongawo vari kunze? Imwi hamutongi vari mukati here?
13But those without God judges. Remove the wicked person from amongst yourselves.
13Asi avo vari kunze Mwari unovatonga. Naizvozvo bvisai pakati penyu munhu uyo wakaipa.
