¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹Jehovha wakataura naMozisi akati,

²Command the children of Israel that they bring unto thee pure beaten olive oil for the light, to light the lamp continually.

²Raira vana vaIsiraeri kuti vauye kwauri namafuta akanaka amaorivhi, akaisvonaka akasviniwa omwenje, kuti avhenekese mwenje nguva dzose.

³Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron dress it from evening to morning before Jehovah continually: [it is] an everlasting statute throughout your generations.

³Kunze kwechidzitiro chechipupuriro, mutende rokusangana, Aroni anofanira kuigadzira kubva madekwana kusvikira mangwanani nguva dzose pamberi paJehovha; unofanira kuva mutemo usingaperi kusvikira kumarudzi enyu ose.

⁴Upon the pure candlestick shall he arrange the lamps before Jehovah continually.

⁴Anofanira kugadzira mwenje pachigadziko chakaisvonaka nguva dzose pamberi paJehovha.

⁵And thou shalt take fine wheaten flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof; each cake shall be of two tenths.

⁵Iwe unofanira kutora upfu hwakatsetseka, ugobika nahwo zvingwa zvine gumi nezviviri; chingwa chimwe nechimwe chinofanira kuitwa nezvegumi zviviri zveefa.

⁶And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table before Jehovah.

⁶Unofanira kuzvigadzika patafura yakaisvonaka pamberi paJehovha uchiita nhurikidzwa mbiri, zvitanhatu panhurikidzwa.

⁷And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row; and it shall be a bread of remembrance, an offering by fire to Jehovah.

⁷Unofanira kuisawo pamusoro penhurikidzwa imwe neimwe zvinonhuhwira zvakanaka, kuti chive chokurangaridza chechingwa, chive chipiriso chinopisirwa Jehovha.

⁸Every sabbath day he shall arrange it before Jehovah continually, on the part of the children of Israel: [it is] an everlasting covenant.

⁸Musi mumwe nomumwe wesabata unofanira kuzvirongedza pamberi paJehovha nguva dzose; isungano isingaperi inoitwa navana valsiraeri.

⁹And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy unto him of Jehovah's offerings by fire: [it is] an everlasting statute.

⁹Zvinofanira kuva zvaAroni navanakomana vake; vazvidye panzvimbo tsvene, nekuti chitsvene kwazvo kwaari pakati pezvipiriso zvinopisirwa Jehovha nomutemo usingaperi.

¹⁰And the son of an Israelitish woman -- but withal the son of an Egyptian, -- went out among the children of Israel; and this son of the Israelitess and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;

¹⁰Zvino mwanakomana womukadzi muIsiraeri, asi baba vake vaiva munhu weEgipita, wakafamba pakati pavana vaIsiraeri, mwanakomana womukadzi muIsiraeri akarwa nomurume muIsiraeri pamisasa.

¹¹and the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹¹Mwanakomana womukadzi muIsiraeri akamhura zita raJehovha, akatuka, vakaenda naye kuna Mozisi. Zita ramai vake rakanga riri Sheromiti, mwanasikana waDhibhiri, worudzi rwaDhani.

¹²And they confined him, that they might decide at the mouth of Jehovah.

¹²Vakamuisa mutirongo, kuti vaziviswe zvinorehwa naJehovha.

¹³And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹³Zvino Jehovha akataura naMozisi akati,

¹⁴Lead the reviler outside the camp; and all that heard [him] shall lay their hands upon his head, and the whole assembly shall stone him.

¹⁴Budisa mutuki kunze kwemisasa; zvino vose, vakamunzwa, vanofanira kuisa maoko avo pamusoro wake, ungano yose igomutaka namabwe.

¹⁵And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Every one when he revileth his God shall bear his sin.

¹⁵Zvino iwe utaure navana vaIsiraeri, uti, Ani naani anotuka Mwari wake anofanira kurohwa pamusoro pezvivi zvake.

¹⁶And he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah shall certainly be put to death; all the assembly shall certainly stone him; as well the stranger as he that is home-born, when he blasphemeth the Name, shall be put to death.

¹⁶Munhu unomhura zita raJehovha, zvirokwazvo anofanira kuurawa; ungano yose inofanira kumutaka namabwe, kana ari mutorwa, kana ari wakaberekerwa munyika, kana achimhura zita raJehovha unofanira kuurawa.

¹⁷And if any one smiteth any man mortally, he shall certainly be put to death.

¹⁷Munhu anorova mumwe, akafa, zvirokwazvo anofanira kuurawa;

¹⁸And he that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good, life for life.

¹⁸nomunhu anorova chipfuwo, chikafa, anofanira kuchiripa; upenyu pachigaro choupenyu.

¹⁹And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour, as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;

¹⁹Kana munhu akamanikidza wokwake, sezvaakaita iye, anofanira kuitirwawo;

²⁰breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him.

²⁰kuvhunika kuchatsibwa nokuvhunika, ziso neziso, zino nezino, sezvaakamanikidza mumwe, naiye anofanira kuitirwa saizvozvo.

²¹He that smiteth a beast [mortally] shall make it good; and he that smiteth a man [mortally] shall be put to death.

²¹Munhu unouraya chipfuwo, anofanira kuripa; anouraya munhu, anofanira kuurawa.

²²Ye shall have one law: as the stranger, so the home-born; for I am Jehovah your God.

²²Munofanira kuva nomurayiro mumwe chete kumutorwa kana kunowakaberekerwa panyika; nekuti ndini Jehovha Mwari wenyu.

²³And Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they led the reviler outside the camp and stoned him with stones. And the children of Israel did as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

²³Mozisi akataura navana vaIsiraeri, ivo vakabudisa mutuki kunze kwemisasa, vakamutaka namabwe. Vana vaIsiraeri vakaita sezvakarairwa naMozisi.
