Leviticus

5

1And if any one sin, and hear the voice of adjuration, and he is a witness whether he hath seen or known [it], if he do not give information, then he shall bear his iniquity.
1Kana munhu akatadza, ari chapupu akapikirwa kupupura chinhu chaakaona, kana chaanoziva, akasadudza, achava nemhosva yake.
2Or if any one touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcase of an unclean beast, or the carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of an unclean crawling thing, and it be hid from him, -- he also is unclean and guilty;
2Kunyange kana munhu akanga abata chinhu chisakanaka, kana chiri chitunha chemhuka isakanaka, kana chitunha chemombe isakanaka, kana chitunha chezvinokambaira zvisakanaka, zvikasazikamwa naye, akasvibiswa, achava nemhosva.
3or if he touch the uncleanness of man, any uncleanness of him by which he is defiled, and it be hid from him, when he knoweth [it], then he is guilty.
3Kana akanga abata zvisakanaka zvomunhu, kana zviri zvisakanaka zvipi nezvipi akasvibiswa nazvo, zvikasazikamwa naye; kana akazozviziva, achava nemhosva.
4Or if any one swear, talking rashly with the lips, to do evil or to do good, in everything that a man shall say rashly with an oath, and it be hid from him, when he knoweth [it], then is he guilty in one of these.
4Kana munhu akapika nomuromo wake, asingafungi kwazvo, kundoita zvakaipa kana kundoita zvakanaka, chinhu chipi nechipi chaakapika, asingafungi kwazvo, chikasazikamwa naye; kana akazochiziva, achava nemhosva kune chimwe chaizvozvo;
5And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these, that he shall confess wherein he hath sinned;
5zvino kana akava nemhosva kune chimwe chaizvozvo, anofanira kuzvireurura zvaakatadza.
6and he shall bring his trespass-offering to Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the small cattle, a sheep or doe goat, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him [to cleanse him] from his sin.
6Zvino ngaauye nechipiriso chake chemhosva pamberi paJehovha pamusoro pezvivi zvake zvaakatadza, ngaive hadzi yezvipfuwo zviduku, kana gwayana kana mbudzana, chive chipiriso chezvivi; mupristi ngaamuyananisire pamusoro pezvivi zvake.
7And if his hand be not able to bring what is so much as a sheep, then he shall bring for his trespass which he hath sinned two turtle-doves or two young pigeons, to Jehovah; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.
7Kana asingagoni kuuya negwayana, ngaavigire Jehovha njiva mbiri, kana twana tuviri twenjiva, chive chipiriso chemhosva yake yaakatadza; imwe ive chipiriso chezvivi, imwe chipiriso chinopiswa.
8And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall present that which is for the sin-offering first, and pinch off his head at the neck, but shall not divide it;
8Zvino ngaauye nadzo kumupristi, iye atange kubaya imwe yechipiriso chezvivi, agure musoro wayo pamutsipa, asi arege kuiparadzanisa;
9and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering on the wall of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin-offering.
9zvino ngaasase ropa rechipiriso chezvivi kurutivi rwearitari, asi ropa rakasara risvinirwe mujinga mearitari; chipiriso chezvivi.
10And he shall offer the other for a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance. And the priest shall make atonement for him [to cleanse him] from his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
10Yechipiri ngaaite nayo chipiriso chinopiswa, sezvamakarairwa; mupristi amuyananisire pamusoro pezvivi zvaakatadza, akangamwirwe.
11But if his hand cannot attain to two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering: he shall put no oil on it, neither shall he put frankincense thereon; for it is a sin-offering.
11Asi kana akasagona kuuya nenjiva mbiri, kana notwana tuviri twenjiva, ngaauye nechipiriso chake pamusoro pokutadza kwake, chive chegumi cheefa youpfu hwakatsetseka, chive chipiriso chezvivi; ngaarege kudira mafuta pamusoro pahwo, kana kuisa zvinonhuhwira pamusoro pahwo, nekuti chipiriso chezvivi.
12And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, with Jehovah's offerings by fire: it is a sin-offering.
12Zvino ngaauye nahwo kumupristi, mupristi atsamure tsama imwe yahwo, chive chokurangaridza chacho; zvino ngaahwuise pamusoro pearitari, sezvinoitwa nezvimwe zvipiriso zvaJehovha zvinoitwa nomoto; chipiriso chezvivi.
13And the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him; and it shall be the priest's, as the oblation.
13mupristi anofanira kumuyananisira pamusoro pezvivi zvake zvaakatadza pachinhu chimwe chaizvozvo, akangamwirwe. Zvakasara ngazvive zvomupristi, sezvinoitwa nechipiriso choupfu.
14And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
14Zvino Jehovha wakataura naMozisi akati,
15If any one act unfaithfully and sin through inadvertence in the holy things of Jehovah, then he shall bring his trespass-offering to Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the small cattle, according to thy valuation by shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass-offering.
15Kana munhu akadarika, akatadza nokusaziva pazvinhu zvitsvene zvaJehovha, ngaauye kuna Jehovha nechipiriso chemhosva yake, chegondobwe risina mhosva ramakwai ake, uchimutarira mashekeri esirivha uchienzanisa neshekeri rapanzvimbo tsvene; chive chipiriso chemhosva.
16And he shall make restitution for the wrong that he hath done in the holy things, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and shall give it unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
16Ngaatsive chinhu chaakatadza pachinhu chitsvene, awedzere pachiri chimwe cheshanu chacho, achipe mupristi, mupristi agomuyananisira negondobwe rechipiriso chemhosva, akangamwirwe.
17And if any one sin and do against any of all the commandments of Jehovah what should not be done, and hath not known [it], yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
17Kana munhu akatadza, akaita chinhu chimwe chezvinhu zvakanga zvarairwa naJehovha kuti zvirege kuitwa; kunyange asina kuziva, une mhosva, mhaka unayo.
18And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the small cattle, according to thy valuation, as trespass-offering, unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his inadvertence wherein he sinned inadvertently, and knew [it] not, and it shall be forgiven him.
18Ngaauye kumupristi negondobwe ramakwai ake risina mhosva, sezvaunofunga iwe, chive chipiriso chemhosva, mupristi agomuyananisira pamusoro pechinhu chaakanga atadza nokusaziva, asingazivi, akangamwirwe.
19It is a trespass-offering: he hath certainly trespassed against Jehovah.
19Chipiriso chemhosva; zvirokwazvo une mhosva pamberi paJehovha.
