⁶Behold, we heard of it at Ephratah, we found it in the fields of the wood.

⁷Let us go into his habitations, let us worship at his footstool.

⁸Arise, Jehovah, into thy rest, thou and the ark of thy strength.

⁹Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness, and let thy saints shout for joy.

¹²Kana vana vako vachichengeta sungano yangu Nezvipupuriro zvangu zvandichavadzidzisa, Navana vavowo vachagara pachigaro chako choushe nokusingaperi.

¹³For Jehovah hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his dwelling:

¹³nekuti Jehovha wakasanangura Ziyoni; Akarida kuti huve ugaro hwake.

¹⁴This is my rest for ever; here will I dwell, for I have desired it.

¹⁴Pano ndipo pandinozorora nokusingaperi; Ndichagara pano; nekuti ndakapada.

¹⁵I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her needy ones with bread;

¹⁵Ndicharopafadza zvokudya zvaro kwazvo; Ndichagutisa varombo varo nezvokudya.

¹⁶And I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

¹⁶Vapristi varo ndichavafukidzawo noruponeso; Vatsvene varo vachapururudza nomufaro.

¹⁷There will I cause the horn of David to bud forth; I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

¹⁷Ipapo ndichameresera Dhavhidhi runyanga; Ndakagadzirira muzodzwa wangu mwenje.

¹⁸His enemies will I clothe with shame; but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

¹⁸Vavengi vake ndichavafukidza nokunyadziswa; Asi korona yake ichapenya pamusoro pake.
